"Y/n how could you let him do that?"
"Sorry I didn't want to be death glared by Techno. He's scary sometimes Phil!"
"Yeah I guess that's true but still." Y/n laughed quietly as Techno came back holding a tired Tommy by the back of his shirt.
"I'm done bullying the child."
"Sorry Tommy." Phil said. Tommy sighed and walked off. The sun glare hit her eyes making her wince. Techno's and Phil's talking muffled and grew quieter.
Why do I miss the other three. I guess playing card games with them for months on end for got exciting after a while. Maybe Dream will bring Wilbur back. I always enjoyed his company.
Wait why did Tubbo decide to let us come back?
Is it cause Dreams in prison? Probably. Everyone seemed pretty scared of him. I miss the old Dream. I miss the Dream that was kind and cared about you. I missed the old Dream who would cheer you up when you were sad. This new Dream isn't okay.
I hope the old Dream will come back. I doubt it but there's alway room for hope.
"Y/n what do you think?" She snapped out her thoughts and turned to them.
"I'm sorry what?"
"We were just debating what to eat for dinner. Techno wants potatoes and I was going to make pancakes."
"They both sound good. I guess we could just have them both unless it's to hard to cook then we don't have too."
"That's a good idea. She's got some brains in that massive head."
"She's standing right here and can hear you." Y/n said with a smile. They walked back to the house and she went to go play with the two animals.
"You zoned out back at the community house." Techno muttered sitting next to her. "Is anything bothering you?"

"No I was just thinking."
"Oh okay." Pepper jumped around. She was a very hyper fox. Brooklyn put a paw on Pepper's head as of saying, calm down your too hyper. Pepper laid down next to Brooklyn. Y/n smiled at the two animals. They had been getting along very nicely which was nice. Pepper squeaked and jumped onto Brook. Y/n laughed softly at Brook's reaction.
"Dinner's ready." Phil said handing them plates.
"Thanks Phil." They began to eat quietly. Y/n occasionally handed Brook and Pepper small pieces of meat.
"They really seem to like you." Phil mentioned towards the two happy animals.
"Yeah, Me and Brook have a bit of a history together."
"What kinda history?"
"I saved her from a witch and adopted her."
"She must've been really happy.•
"She was yeah, she kinda helped me through exile." After that no one spoke.

When the world ends, the apocalypse brought many things with it.Most notably, monsters, magic, and a system that allows the survivers to gain the strength needed to survive. In such a situation, Alice and her friend Ava somehow manage to survive, albeit barely. But things start to change soon, to be precise, when Alice gets a call from her mother, who tells her that someone wants to talk to her. Someone who calls themself a Prophet. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ For the duration of the Writathon challenge, I will be trying to release chapters daily. (This is not a guarantee, but I will try.) Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.
