《The Life Not Worth Living (HaikyuuxReader)》𝚁𝚎𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚗

The entire bus ride was pretty silent, some small chatter here and there. But besides that it was silent since mostly everyone was sleeping. Well everyone except (Y/N), this bitch don't know how to sleep sometimes.
So she just sat there listening to her favorite song [insert favorite song here cause if I chose we're listening to secret tunnel then fuking anime openings and k pop].
Throughout the ride (Y/N) was thinking about what Nekomata said. 'Should I really give them a chance?'she asked herself. And the question remained in her head throughout the entire ride to Miyagi. Even if the poor girl didn't want to think about it, she can't shake the feeling that what Nekomata said was right.
'No, I was betrayed and I can't let it happen again, this is just for the best, for all of us.'.
When the group arrived at their stop (Y/N) quickly woke up Yachi and grabbed her bags. Then she walked out of the bus and started walking home, "Wait (Y/N) we need to do rolecall and a meeting before the tournament tomorrow!" Takeda called out.
"You don't need me, I'm not even apart of the team." she replied coldly and turned her head to start walking again.
"Wow, she really is leaving." Asahi said as the small girl's figure slowly disappeared. "Yeah, I knew she said she'd leave but I didn't think she actually meant it." Daichi replied quietly.
"Well what did you all expect? You broke her trust." Yachi said aloud, 'Oh no I said that out loud!'.
"But she won't even let us explain!" Hinata whined. "Well why would she, she heard everything we said about her, she knows everything." Tsukishima sighed, a hint of annoyance in his tone.

"But if she let us explain ourselves she would understand better!" Nishinoya called out. "What would we explain? She knows that we only became her friends for Takeda at first." Suga stated. "Then we never even told her about that, we let her open up to us and we didn't deserve that." Kiyoko added.
"So what are we supposed to do? Just let her stay mad at us forever?! We can't be her friend again if she won't talk to us at all!" Tanaka complained. Daichi started speaking again "We'll just have to wait, she'll talk to us when she's ready, and if she doesn't want to talk then...".
"Then we'll just all have to live with the fact we hurt her, and we can't get her back." Sugawara finished for Daichi. "Now let's go, we have a meeting to get to!" Suga called out as he ushered his underclass em into the gym.
"You really think she'd never talk to us again?" Daichi whispered to his friend. "I......I don't know, I just know we have to give her space." Suga whispered back. Then the two walked into the gym to have their meeting.
Now everyone we shall turn our attention back to the main character who just returned home.
(Y/N) placed her bags on the floor as she kicked her shoes off. Then she jumped and landed face first on her comfortable couch.
"Fuck everything!" she yelled into her couch for absolutely no reason. The ravenette just laid on that same spot for a while. Not moving at all, just thinking. Still thinking about what Nekomata had said to her.
"No!" she yelled as she flipped over on the couch, so now she was starting at the ceiling. "The pitied me, they never wanted to be my friends in the first place." she told herself. But the girl wasn't too convincing.

But every time she started to doubt what her mind was telling her the girl slapped herself. "I just have to stop thinking about them, they don't want me around and the feelings mutual." she grumbled. So to get her mind completely off the team (Y/N) left her couch to do something productive.
She first threw all her dirty clothes form the training camp into the washer. Then she left to take a shower, trying her best to wash away the loneliness she was starting to feel, oh and I guess the dirt on her too.
Anyways after her refreshing shower (Y/N) texted Kita that she arrived home safe since she forgot to tell him earlier.
(Actually it's just the author forgetting and being to lazy to go back and edit the chapter)
Now (Y/N) was just cooking her dinner, trying her best to stay busy to prevent her mind from thinking about the team.
'I don't need them. I don't need them. I don't need them. I don't need them.' is the chant constantly replaying in her mind as she works.
The words playing over and over since she kept feeling like she needed to go and talk to them. For some odd reason the girl felt like she needed to apologize to them. But her pride wouldn't let her, and besides she didn't do anything wrong, actually scratch that she did do something wrong.
She put her full trust in the wrong people.

When the modern technology of Earth meets the medieval magic of Vera, which culture will invade the other world first? When the army rangers of the United States collide with the members of the Hunter's Guild, who will win? Updates on Wednesdays/Thursdays Cover is my own creation. Tips to reading: This is my first book, so cliches and tropes are used as the base and then expanded upon. My intention is to make it a casual read but deep if you decide to look closer. I'm not a people person, so my focus and purpose for writing this is to explore the world building and magic system, not necessarily the characters. There won't be a villian until the postgame ;) Author's philosophy: I took an professional personality inventory (through a community college back in 2018) and was categorized as a "double-checker." I'm never satisfied with the work that I complete, and never want to share it with anyone. But this book is a challenge to myself! As a rule of thumb, I will only add to the story. I can't remove elements I've already included (unless absolutely, absolutely necessary). PS, I'm a native English speaker.

RED
Valley City. Up until around twenty years ago, it had been a nowhere place. Just a bunch of towns with no real reputation. Now, though, it's known for its progression in medical science. The Medical Technologies Company. It seemed to suddenly appear out of nowhere in the middle of what's now called City Center. Once just a manufacturer and developer of medical equipment, it eventually started to dabble in medical research. Before anyone even knew it, they were the leading research entities, with five seperate buildings in Valley City alone, all towering above everything else in the area. Some say they even swayed the local government into combining the old towns into one city and popularized prosthetic limbs as fashion themselves, but that's just gossip. Matthew Vega. A 25-year-old college dropout, tricked by MediTech into being experimented on under the pretense of participating in a clinical trial for rent money. After being broken out of their facility nearly a year after having her limbs replaced, then having her liberator captured, she seeks a way to dismantle the company or save the one she cares about. NOTE: Currently I am working on a rewrite. I will post a new chapter once that is ready, listed as V2CH-001. I hope you look forward to it.
