I really couldn't believe it. My 4th year at Hogwarts. How me and the boys hadn't been expelled or killed is beyond me - something all our parents seem to agree on based on the amount of howlers we received last year. Between pranking the whole Ravenclaw quidditch team after they beat Gryffindor, helping free Sirius Black and many other 'situations' we got into, me and the boys were surprised our parents didn't stop us from going this year. Well, except my parents. Or should I say
'I swear to god Y/N, if I have to call you down again you're going to run at that wall and crash instead of getting the train!'
'I said I'm coming dad! I just can't find my wand!'
'It isn't in your hair again is it?'
'What? Of course it isn't I -'
'You found it?'
'Maybe...'
'Let's get going then' Sirius Black said with a grin.
Did I forget to mention I'm Y/N Black? I did? Well here you go. And some people may think I'm Sirius' - they'd be absolutely right. And he's the best dad ever. Even if he wasn't here for most of my life because of Azkaban. When he was away, Sirius' cousin - Andromeda - looked after me. She's wonderful. Dad says I look like Andromeda a bit. And that I look like mum too.

Before we left, I went to find Kreacher. Whilst Kreacher hates my dad and my auntie Andromeda - he seems to be fond of me. Perhaps it's because I'm a pure blood still? I don't know. But I went to find him and gave him a gift - something he certainly didn't seem fond of but I did it anyway.
'Kreacher?' I called out up from the landing.
'Madame Black?' Kreacher croaked as he suddenly apparated in front of me.
'Here you go, I won't see you until Easter, so I thought I'd leave you a small gift for now and one for Christmas too.' I said, passing him two small boxes wrapped.
Kreacher didn't seem too impressed, but I insisted and ordered that he accept them so he'd keep them. I know he's kept all my gifts from me in his small cupboard. He's a strange elf but I like him.
'Kreacher will miss Madame Black' the hunched elf said, as he walked away towards the stairs.
'And i will miss you too.' I said.
And with that, I grabbed dad's arm and was in Kings Cross.
Kings Cross was my favourite place. The mix of muggles and wizards on such a large scale was quite interesting. Trying to guess who was magical and who wasn't was a game me and Sirius had been playing for a long time - but we had to skip it this year due to me wanting to sleep in.
'I bet you that tall woman there was a witch.' Sirius whispered to me.
'Dad - she works at the leaky cauldron we saw her a few days ago - that's cheating!' I replied with a playful frown on my face.
'But i still win.' He said winking at me as he ran between platform 9 and 10 and disappeared.

As I approached the train, two familiar redheads appeared.
'Hello Y/N' Fred said smiling at me.
'Hello Freddie - Hey Georgie!'
I walked up to them and was quickly joined by Lee.
'Good holidays boys?'
'With the amount of letters we were getting from you it felt like we were spending it with you Y/N!' Georgie replied cheekily.
'Next summer I won't write then!' I replied in a playfully hurt tone.
'Don't do that Y/N! Fred won't be able to smile all summer!' George said wriggling his eyebrows up and down at Fred. Fred began to go red.
'Oh shove off George.' We all began laughing.
Me and the boys hopped on the train after waving goodbye to our parents and quickly found a compartment. As we were talking, Cedric Diggory came past and flashed a smile at me. He opened the door and popped his head in.
'Hey Y/N! Fred, Lee, George...' Cedric said nodding his heads at the boys.
'Hey Cedric.' The boys replied in unison.
'Just wanted to say we missed you at the Quidditch World Cup - maybe if you were there nothing bad would've happened, you always do seem to stop bad things.' He said looking me straight in the eyes.
'Yeah I'm really sorry about that - Dad had a bad feeling about it.'
'Guess he was right... Anyway just wanted to say that and I'll see you in a bit!' And with that Cedric left.
We spent the whole train ride eating chocolate frogs and sharing new prank ideas. Hogwarts was going to be epic this year.

Bloody Hell
Alan Maxwell has one exceptional talent. He can read peoples body language and micro expressions so well that, in many cases it's not hard for him to fake being psychic. When a foreign agency decides that said talent would make him an exceptional spy, events quickly begin to spiral out of control. With enemies on all sides, and friends that will as soon kill each other as his enemies, Alan will have to put his skills to the test in the ultimate game of cat and mouse. ===I came up with this story in response to a question. I once asked someone why there weren't really any Yandere harems. I realize that the answer to that is 'everyone dies' but thats boring so... here we are. A story I came up with explicitly as an excuse to create a harem entirely out of obsessive psychopathic axe murderers. Or in other words - "What happens to Bond girls when they disappear?"As a warning, there are sex scenes. Its tagged. I'll leave an authors note at the top of any chapter that has them if you'd prefer to skip it.

Good luck to him, anyway! All credit for the awesome cover goes to ssddx, who did a brilliant job putting it together, as I'm sure you can all see! I will note that, as pretty much all LitRPG novels have, that, to a certain extent, I have taken inspiration from other works I have read. This, however, is an original fiction. I hope any and all of you who read this fiction enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoy writing it, and please feel free to comment - I recognice that this will need work and will have things like typos - please feel free to point out any obvious things I forget about or miss out, as well as any typos. Also, feel free to lob suggestions my way if you have any - while I may not use them, they could very well inspire me in some way or another and help me improve this fiction, even if just by a little bit.

Schedule: 1 Chapter each of Tuesday/Friday John Miller was a fairly normal young man, working hard to support a family that had run into many financial difficulties. Unfortunately, his unexpected death ends his difficult but mundane life. He is quite surprised to find himself waking up alive… but not himself. Fortkran Tenebach is… or was… the young master of a cultivation clan in another world. John barely even knows anything about cultivation- even in the theory of something vaguely like it- but he has to make his way with the memories of his new body. His new family isn’t as close as his old one was… but he can’t help but want to be honest with them. He is quite certain that they notice his sudden change in personality among other things, and confesses what happened in a move that ultimately he expects to be fatal. Quite surprisingly, his family instead breathes a collective sigh of relief that the old Fortkran is dead. This leaves John to take over his duties… including cultivation, though he has to start from the beginning and isn’t sure he won’t make some massive mistake.

Episode 2: SPAWN
A vampire was destroyed in the city of Two Rivers. Her second death points detectives Alton and Cook of the Unjust Existence Extermination Investigation Force in the direction of an agent of a foreign power, and suggests the existence of a greater vampiric plot that undermines the reputation of the city for fair treatment of living-impaired citizens. Set in the world of Manifest Destiny - a shared hombrew D&D 3.5/Pathfinder 1 campaign setting that has been in use since 2007, this is a fantasy police procedural similar in style to Law & Order. Retired player characters make cameo appearances. This work originally won NaNoWriMo in 2015, and will update every Saturday until complete.
