The next morning, my head pounded and my mouth was dry. I was very much hungover. But, so was everyone else.
I woke up with Fred's arm around me, in a sort of side hug. I couldn't remember much about last night, but it would come back to me soon enough.
I went up to get a glass of water from my room, my head was throbbing - how many shots of fire whiskey did I have?
"Mornin" I greeted Katie as I came into our dorm. She'd somehow managed to get to the dorm before passing out, but was sleeping on my bed - it was the closest to the door.
Katie didn't reply, but sort of groaned to signal she was still alive.
I smiled, and went and got my glass, got dressed, then went back down to the common room.
Lee was starting to wake up, and so were Cedric and Cho.
Fred was still asleep - he was always a heavy sleeper.
I tried remembering what happened last night.
Laughing.
Dancing.
Singing.
Food.
Spin the bottle?
Oh yeah - I kissed Cho's cheek.
People sleeping.
I tried to think further into the night, and there were a lot of blurry memories. Then, I remembered.
Oh.
God.
I quickly turned to see Fred beginning to wake up - perfect timing. I'd have to speak to him about whether we're actually together or if he was just very drunk. I hoped he was being honest, but who knows?
Fred started properly waking up, and he also was groaning from the hangover.
I waved my wand at him, and gave him the anti hangover charm. Sirius taught me that - I don't know if it's good or bad that my dad taught me it, but I'm forever grateful.
"Thanks darling." He whispered.

I snapped my head and looked at him. Did he just call me darling?
"Anytime Freddie." I replied.
He shuffled over to my side of the sofa, putting his arms around my waist, and putting his chin on the top of my head.
"Freddie?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you remember last night?"
"Only the good bits."
I could tell he was smiling.
I turned to look him in the eyes, and just pulled him into a hug.
"You don't know how long I've waited for this." He murmured into my hair.
"Not as long as me Fred Weasley." I whispered into his chest.
Our little moment was soon ruined by Lee cheering and yelling at the top of his lungs.
"YES! FINALLY!" He shouted, running around the common room - more like stumbling really - which woke up everyone else.
He then proceeded to go around the half awake, hungover group of teenagers, asking for galleons.
"Lee? What are you doing?" I asked him.
"Only collecting my bet money Black." He replied grinning.
"You didn't - you did!" I gasped, then burst into laughter. Fred did as well.
"You knew!" I said, playfully hitting his arm.
"Well of course - it was nice to know people were rooting for us." He grinned.
"You'll be very pleased to know the house elfs also like us then." I said to him, and Lee's face became more ecstatic.
"EVEN THE FREAKING HOUSE ELFS SHIPPED YOU! IVE GOT TO FIND PROFESSOR FLITWICK HE OWES ME FIVE GALLEONS!" Lee cheered, quickly running out of the common room - he'd obviously learnt the hangover spell too otherwise he'd never be this excited. Actually, he probably would still run around.
And soon, word spread around the castle that Y/N Black and Fred Weasley were finally together.
Snape was very much irritated. If they had waited another week, he'd have won ten galleons from Dumbledore - he'd put them both in detention for that.

Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book). If you are so willing, please donate on my patreon page. Regards, Dave
