The last days at Hogwarts were horrible. People kept giving me sympathetic look, bu then behind my back making rumours.
"I heard she and Cedric were actually together - poor girl!"
"Heard She's pregnant with Diggory's child."
"Her and Chang are probably together - joint in grief."
Honestly, the rumours were ridiculous. People where making wild rumour up instead of mourning him. I spent most of my time away from people - either alone, with Fred or Cho.
Cho. She was a mess. An absolute wreck. People were just the same to her as they were to me. Rita Skeeter even had the audacity to write an article about her - falsely claiming her and Diggory were engaged before he died. Honestly, I would punch that roach the next time I saw her.
Fred was just there for me. We hadn't been officially dating long, and yet it felt like we'd been together forever because of how he looked after me. He gave my hugs when I sensed I was upset, snuck snacks from the kitchens - he even pranked Pucey after he said the wrong thing in our last potions class. He was really the best, and he understood that I was mourning and upset - we all were.
I was sat on the train on my way home, playing with Fred's hair as he lay his head in my lap. It was really beautiful this time of year - the sun shining out and the hills were vibrant shades of greens.
"Any plans for the holidays?" I asked our friends.
"Probably going to visit my aunt in Scotland." Lee said.
"We were just in Scotland Lee - could've just stayed at Hogwarts until it was time to see her." Katie said.
"Don't think Snape would be too pleased seeing me around the castle for half the summer - plus we're not allowed." He replied.

"Imagine taking a train to London from Scotland, only to have to go back up to Scotland." Fred mused.
"Glad we live down south - that would be annoying." I said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Y/N - you literally live in London, you're so lucky!" Angelina said.
"Yeah it has its perks - I can go to Diagon Alley way more than you idiots." I grinned at them all.
"Lucky I'm staying with you this summer." Fred said, holding my hand.
"What?" I looked down at him in confusion.
"We're staying at Grimmauld Place this summer - mum wanted a change from the country. Don't know why though...." Fred started.
"Sirius didn't tell you?" George chimed in, looking just as confused as Fred.
"No he didn't - dad didn't say a thing." I huffed. He didn't know about me and Fred, because I knew he'd be overprotective and just a downright arse to Fred, but I thought if we visited the Burrow, it would be easier to hide it until the time was right, but Fred live with dad - that would be impossible to hide for the whole summer.
I sighed and looked at Fred.
"We're going to have to tell him Freddie." I whispered.
"To be honest Y/N - everyone thought you two were already together." George said, grinning.
"True. Lupin thought you'd been dating for years." Lee added.
"Well maybe telling dad won't be so difficult then." I smiled.
"If he gets difficult, just compare Fred to someone like Pucey - then Sirius will be thrilled you're with Fred." Katie suggested.
We all laughed and talked the rest of the ride back to London, sharing chocolate frogs and addresses so we could write to eachother.

Soon, the train pulled into the station, and we could see Molly, Arthur, Remus, and Sirius all waiting on the platform.
My face lit up when I saw dad smiling at me, and he grinned back. I rushed to go get my trunk, pulling Fred along with me. We said our final goodbyes and promised we'd see eachother over the summer. We hopped onto the platform hand in hand, and I saw Moly immediately whisper something to Arthur - both of them smiling even more afterwards.
I turned to Fred and said, "Are you ready to do this Freddie?"
"Ready as I'll ever be Black." He replied.
And with that, we walked up to our families hand in hand, and waited for the responses.
