《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》eleven

Kendall kissed the side of my lips and looked at me. I nodded, which meant that Marcus was looking our way. He shook his head then stood in front of us. "So what's all this?" Marcus asked calmly, his clenching jaw had shown otherwise.
Anger inside me started to worsen at how calm he was, almost like he didn't care. "I should be asking you the same thing," I said, moving closer to Marcus.
"Since when are you and Kendall a thing?"
"Marcus, this is not about me and Kendall. You were kissing another girl but we're dating. What was that all about?" I crossed my arms over my chest. Marcus stared at me, his eyes were filled with anger.
"I thought we were having an open relationship since you were going out with another guy," Marcus said sarcastically.
I clenched my fists,"For the last time, Trick and I are just friends. At least I didn't make out with him." I gestured to the girl he had just made out with.
I then remembered about the time Trick had kissed me.
"What about Kendall?" he asked as his eyes landed on him, glaring at him. Kendall didn't seem scared at all, he looked at Marcus blankly.
I sighed,"I just asked him to kiss me to get your attention."
I glanced at the cheerleader who had just made out with Marcus, looking at her with so much hate when she smirked at me.
Marcus chuckled,"Aww, Baby cheeks. Now you know how I feel when you hang out with Trick," he told me then kissed my cheek. I wiped my cheek, glaring at him.
"You jerk," I said. Marcus looked like he wanted to say something, his eyebrows went down once I had said that.
"Baby che--"
I walked away, ignoring his calls at me.
The day went well but boring. For some reason, I didn't see Trick, Percy and Angelo at all today, even at lunch.
Were they avoiding me?
I wasn't sure but I didn't think they would. It was finally the weekend when the bell rang for the end of the school day. I decided to walk to aunt's and I would go to my parents' house on Saturday.
I said bye to a few people as I left the school. I put music on my phone, putting my headphones on, I started walking home. I saw a car slowly drive next to me while I was walking.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion but once I recognised the car, I started walking faster.
"Baby cheeks," he said as the car window rolled down.
Even with the headphones on, I could still hear him. All of a sudden, the car turned right and cut in front of me. He stopped the car,"Can I just give you a ride home? You shouldn't walk that far," Marcus asked. "Please?"
I sighed and took off my headphones and stuffed it in my bag. I got in his car and I couldn't help but want to smile too when he smiled. Marcus drove me to my mother's after I showed him the directions, he stopped the car and waited.

"Look, I'm--" Marcus started but I ignored him and opened the car door. "Wait, baby--" I slammed the car door and started walking towards the front door of the house.
Marcus held my wrist all of a sudden and made me pause. "What, Marcus?"
"Baby cheeks, you wouldn't even let me speak. What's wrong? Is it about this morning?" Marcus asked and I rolled my eyes.
"No Marcus, it's about tomorrow's morning," I answered sarcastically. "Yes, it's about this morning. I can't believe you'd do that."
"Baby cheeks, I was upset that you went out with another guy instead of me." Marcus said softly, then he looked at behind me.
"Okay, I'm sorry then. But Trick is a friend, and nothing else. I promise." I smiled after I said that. "You're my boyfriend." I bit my bottom lip and winked at Marcus.
He smiled and pulled me in for a hug, he buried his face into my shoulder and whispered,"I would've kissed you but a kid is looking at us now."
"What?" I pulled away from Marcus and turned around. I saw Alyson, smiling.
"Oh, that's my little sister, Alyson." I told him and waved at Alyson. She narrowed her eyes at me and Marcus.
"She's adorable." he walked to Alyson as she also walked to him. Marcus crouched down and held out his hand.
"Hey, I'm Marcus."
Alyson nodded and shook Marcus' hand,"I'm Alyson, are you Alyssa's friend?"
Marcus glanced at me then looked back at Alyson,"Something like that," he answered. He took out his phone and read something from it. He stood up,"I'll see you soon, gotta go."
He walked up to me and kissed my cheek,"Bye baby cheeks." He got in his car and drove away.
"Alyssa!" Alyson screamed excitedly, running towards me. She jumped and I caught her and spun her around, laughing.
"I missed you!" she said and hugged me.
"I missed you too, is mom and dad home?" I asked, walking hand in hand with her.
"Mom is, Dad left for a business trip. He'll be back next week," Alyson answered and I opened the door, letting her in before I went. I closed the door.
"Please don't tell me you messed up my room," I said to Alyson. She giggled and ran upstairs. She turned left and I heard knocking. When I reached upstairs, I saw her knocking on our parents' bedroom.
"What's the matter?" My mom, Sydney, shouted. The door opened and I saw Sydeny walk out the room and past me like she hadn't noticed me yet. "It's not the end of the world just because we're out of cupca--"
"Mom!" Alyson said and made mom stop and slowly turn around to look at us. She gasped when she saw me and we hugged eachother.
"Alyssa, sweetheart. I missed you so much," she said and pulled away, staring at my facial features. She ran her fingers through my hair.
"Okay mom, it hasn't been that long." I chuckled and we pulled away.
"I know but it has been so dull since you were gone. You didn't even tell me that you were sleeping at Nora's," she said. Alyson had narrowed her eyes at mom when mom had said that it has been so dull since I was gone.

"I know I'm sorry, something had come up and I had to go to aunt's," I said, memories of me getting beat up and bullied came flooding back making me almost tear up.
"Alyssa, you have to tell me what's going on." she saw the sadness in me somehow.
"It's nothing, mom. I'll--" I quickly turned away, not wanting her to see me cry. I rushed to my bedroom and shut the door behind me. I locked it and leaned against the door, slowly sliding onto the floor.
More tears poured out as I remembered the days I was bullied. The times that everyone hated me. The times that everyone insulted me, beat me up, bruised me.
"Alyssa, please tell me what's going on." Mom knocked on my bedroom door. "Please?"
"Mom, I'm okay. Just..." I trailed off since my voice went throaty.
"Alyssa Heart, open this door."
"Mom, I have stomach cramps," I lied.
It was silent, mom probably didn't believe me. "Okay, there's medicine in the bathroom that might help. I love you, honey," she said.
"I- I love you too," I said, trying to sound normal and I wiped my tears. I heard her sigh and walk away along with other footsteps from Alyson. I sighed, trying to remove the thoughts in my head of me getting bullied.
Don't think about it.
I repeated in my head then actually started saying it out loud. My phone beeped and vibrated simultaneously and I took it out from my back pocket.
I sighed but smiled. It's been years since I've touched any exercising equipment or practically exercised.
Okay not really, I have. It was a month ago.
Sometimes, I really needed a good slap in the face.
In the weekends, usually I wake up at 11am since it is... the weekend. But because I had plans to go jogging with Marcus, I had to wake up at 8am!
I wore a blue skin-tight vest and black tights, along with blue sneakers. Tying my hair into a tight ponytail, I left my room. My phone and earphones where in my backpack.
I descended the stairs and grabbed an apple from the kitchen table. I also made myself a strawberry shake. "Mom, Alyson I'm leaving!" I shouted them I heard footsteps behind me.
I turned around and saw mom wearing a bathrobe, her hair wet, slightly dripping. "Morning honey, we're you going this early?" she asked.
"Going out for a jog with someone," I told her.
She nodded,"Okay, love you."
"Love you too, don't miss me too much!" I shouted as I left the house. It wasn't that hot or that cold. I spotted Marcus jogging towards me. I smiled causing him to smile too. He stopped in front of me, panting slightly. He wore a blue vest and black shorts that ended by his knees. I hugged him and he chuckled, not hugging back. I blushed a little, embarrassed,"I'm sorry."
Marcus smiled,"I wanted a kiss," he said.
An "oh" was what I said before kissed his cheek.
"You didn't say where." I smiled cheekily.
Marcus frowned then smiled,"You're right..." he looked down at his pants and then back at me,"I didn't say where."
My eyes widened, I lightly hit his chest. Marcus laughed and we started jogging away from the house and to where ever he planned for us to be. "Do you always wake up at 8am on Saturdays?" I asked him.
"Yes, sometimes earlier."
"Seriously? On Saturday?" I gasped. I had also gasped a bit because I was trying to get some air in me since we've been jogging for hours.
With us jogging, minutes felt like hours to me.
"And Sunday, I go for a jog on my way to the gym," Marcus said and started jogging a bit faster.
"Hey!" I caught up with him. "One more of those and you'll be giving me a piggyback ride," I joked. Well, maybe.
"Where are we going?" I asked him, hoping he wouldn't answer gym.
"The gym, it's kinda close from your house," Marcus answered and ran his fingers through his tousled hair.
"I haven't went to the gym for years," I stated.
Marcus chuckled,"I can see that."
I gasped and stopped jogging, glaring at Marcus. He stopped too and turned around. "I was kidding, baby cheeks." he apologised. I crossed my arms over my chest and dramatically looked away from him.
"Hmh!"
"Aw come on, I was kidding. Your body is perfect," Marcus said walked closer to me then wrapping his arms around my waist and drawing me closer to him.
"You said I need to exercise." I met eyes with Marcus who chuckled.
"So that you stay healthy, baby cheeks." he kissed my cheek and whispered,"Your body's beautiful, you're beautiful."
Marcus still kept his head by my shoulder, staring at my eyes while I stared at his. I look at his lips, fighting the urge not to kiss him in public. Marcus leaned to in closer to kiss me but I placed my index fingers on his lips. He frowned because of my actions,"Why did you do that?"
I shrugged, removing my finger from his pink, luscious lips. "Not in public," I whispered, feeling discomforted.
"Baby cheeks, don't give a fuck about what people think," Marcus said, cupping my cheek. He kissed my forehead then his hand held my chin. He gently kissed me, my knees immediately went weak making my arms wrap around his neck instantly.
The kiss deepened when Marcus' mouth parted, his tongue trailing against my lips causing them to part. My body was filled with so much pleasure that I forgot we were standing on the sidewalk, people were walking past us. Some looking our way and some trying to walk past without glancing at our direction.
Marcus pulled away and I heard myself whimper from the loss of his contact.
"Let's go, Baby cheeks." He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and we walked to the gym.
