"Baby cheeks," I heard Marcus whisper. I felt his lips move against my cheek. I moaned and covered myself with the blanket. "Baby cheeks, wake up," he said, slightly shaking my arm.
"Mmm-no." I moved my face away from his by rolling over to the other side of the bed.
"Baby cheeks," he said, climbing onto the bed. He raked my hair,"Baby cheeks, wake up."
"Marcus... it's a freaking Saturday," I said and I opened my eyes. My mouth dropped open when I looked at the time. "Dude, what the hell. It's 6:30 am!" I exclaimed, finally sitting upright.
Marcus smiled,"You're cute when you're mad."
I groaned and pinched the bridge of my nose,"Don't you ever say that again." I sighed,"It's annoying and I hate it. I hate it, Marcus. I hate you!" I yelled, covering myself with the blanket again.
Marcus chuckled,"I'm sorry, Baby cheeks. What I meant to say is, I'm sorry for waking you up early in the morning. I didn't know you were the cranky type when woken up early in the crack of dawn. And also... you look beautiful when you get mad but I prefer when you smile. And lastly, you love me Baby cheeks."
"Now get up and take a shower," he said and kissed my cheek. I turned to him and saw he was wearing a black vest, black shorts that ended by his knees and sneakers. He smelled slightly like sweat and his hair was in a messy state.
"Came back from a jog?" I asked him, gently rubbing my temple.
"Yeah, came back to wake you up," he said and got up from bed. I sighed and took my glasses from the floor and wore them. Yawning, I got up from bed.
I opened the curtains and I sighed, "It's so early," I murmured to myself.
"Baby cheeks, it's not that early," Marcus assured.
I massaged my temple, walking past Marcus. He held my wrist and spun me around and I got trapped in his arms,"Are you mad?"
"No Marcus," I grumbled trying to get of his tight hug. "I just hate you. No big deal."
Marcus chuckled,"You hate me? Fine then, go back to sleep." Marcus let go of me and I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw him leave the room.
I looked at the comfy bed then I looked at Marcus walking downstairs. I bit my bottom lip before stepping out the room,"I'll be there in twenty minutes."
Marcus turned around with a smile on his face. "I knew you loved me," he said and winked at me. I narrowed my eyes at him but I didn't deny anything. I left my room and took a quick shower, I changed into a pink skin-tight vest, black tights and pink sneakers. I tied my hair into a ponytail while I walked down the stairs.
I want to the kitchen and sat at the counter. Marcus placed a plate with two slices of banana bread. I frowned and looked at him.
"You shouldn't eat too much since we're going to the gym soon," he said.
I chuckled,"I'll have to get used to this." I sighed.
"Why? You'll have me in your house more often?" Marcus said with a smirk.
I swallowed and my eyes landed on Marcus' brown ones. I nodded, smiling. Marcus smiled too and pecked my lips. My cheeks heated as I looked down at my food.

I finished eating and I got off the seat and took the strawberry smoothie that Marcus made for me. We left the house and started jogging on our way to the gym.
Same as the last time, the gym didn't have a lot of people. But somehow this early in the morning, there were more than last time.
Marcus sat down on the bench and I sat down with him. I slurped my strawberry smoothie. "Ready?" Marcus asked me as he stood up. I smiled at him and nodded. I stood up and we started with warm-ups then exercises. It was hard focusing on doing the exercise because Marcus and I were chatting about something funny, which made me collapse to the floor a few times.
I panted and sat down with my legs crossed. Marcus took off his vest once again and walked towards me. He crouched down and drew closer to me. I shut my eyes, knowing that he was about to kiss me.
"Hey, are you Marcus Sawyer?" a feminine voice asked.
Who the fu--
Marcus sighed and turned around with a bored expression on his face, "No."
The girl chuckled. My mouth dropped open.
She looked so pretty. The long, dark brown hair and light brown eyes. She was very very attractive. She wore a skin-tight purple vest and black tights, and I swear I saw Marcus stare at her for about five seconds before looking away.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I know who you are," she admitted, smiling. "My name's Megan," she said looking at Marcus.
"I'm Alyssa," I said, trying to get her attention. And to get her to stop ogling at Marcus. Megan looked at me from head to toe before smiling and looking back at Marcus. I frowned and slurped my strawberry shake.
"Yeah so I was wondering that if you could help me with some of the exercises, I'd be glad," Megan said and my eyes widened.
Marcus looked at me,"Baby cheeks?"
"What?" I asked, looking at Marcus and Megan.
"You want me to go help her out?" Marcus asked as he wore his vest. I glanced at Megan who was smiling at me, clasping her hands together.
Say no, Alyssa!
"Why are you asking her?" Megan asked.
"Because she's my girlfriend," Marcus replied and he looked at me to see my reaction.
"Oh," was what Megan said and I saw her clench her jaw. "Can he help me with a few exercises? Please?" she asked me, with puppy dog eyes.
Bitch, no! The fuck?
I sighed and nodded,"Fine."
Megan grinned and Marcus shrugged. Megan walked away to her area while Marcus stayed with me,"Baby cheeks, if you want me to stay, just say so."
I shook my head,"No it's cool, I need a break anyway."
Marcus frowned,"From me?"
I chuckled,"You know what I mean." I paused,"Bro... that just rhymed," I joked and Marcus chuckled. I only joked so that Marcus would see that I was totally fine with him going with Megan.
But I wasn't.
Marcus gave me a small smile before walking away towards Megan. I stopped smiling and immediately frowned. I tried to ignore the uneasy feeling growing inside me but I couldn't.
Marcus and Megan smiled and I could hear Megan's cheerful laugh from here which made me squeeze my cup in slight anger. I stood up and turned around. I walked to the bench and sat on it.

"Because she's my girlfriend."
Marcus' words echoed in my head.
I wasn't his girlfriend. What even were we? We can't be friends. We were more than friends but not to the point that we would end up dating.
It had been ten minutes and I decided to carry on with the exercises by myself since Megan and Marcus took longer than I thought.
Megan laughed again and I looked up, my heart ached at the sight. Megan held Marcus by the neck when she had almost fell, Marcus had his arms around Megan's waist.
A silent gasp escaped my mouth and I furrowed my eyebrows. They let go and Marcus looked away, he seemed uncomfortable. He clenched his jaw and he ran his fingers through his hair.
I laid on my back, bringing my knee to my chest.
"Yeah, I used to do that a lot when I was a kid," Megan said to Marcus. I rolled my eyes.
"Really?" I heard Marcus said, "Megan, what you want to do is keep your legs straight, and stop talking."
"Mhm," Megan moaned and I paused. I rolled over and looked at them. Marcus was also surprised. Megan chuckled,"Sorry... that sounded wrong." she blushed.
"No shit," I murmured getting up. I walked over to them and I saw Megan glare at me.
Marcus looked at me and smiled, "Baby cheeks."
"Yeah, Marcus. We gotta go and pick up Alyson... now... like... right now," I said.
"Oh wait, he's gotta show me one more--"
"No, I think we're done here." Marcus sighed. "The gym teacher will be here in about... two to three minutes. Ask him to help you out."
"No way, he's old," Megan snorted and I glared at her. I rolled my eyes and held Marcus' hand as we walked away from her.
"Call me, Marcus!" she yelled as my nails dug into Marcus' arm, feeling the anger and jealousy inside me build up.
Marcus gently kissed my hand and I let go of his arm. I smiled and Marcus took his things. I took my smoothie and we left the gym.
"Did you enjoy your workout?" I asked Marcus. I was kind of upset.
"No, she spoke too much," Marcus replied. "She was telling stories about her childhood."
"Hey, Marcus," a group of girls greeted as they passed him. I eyed them and Marcus didn't glance at them. They giggled anyway and I rolled my eyes and after jogging back home, I took off my clothes to take a shower.
"Baby cheeks," Marcus said from outside my bedroom door.
"Yeah?" I sighed and Marcus walked in.
"Baby cheeks, is there something wrong?" he asked. I looked at him before shaking my head. "Is it because of Megan?"
"Kind of," I replied.
"Baby cheeks, I don't even know the girl," Marcus said.
I forced a chuckle,"This is a problem with dating a freaking... sex god. Everyone is after him, even the most prettiest girls," I whispered the last part to myself.
Marcus frowned and wrapped his arms around my waist from behind and kissed my shoulder.
"I- I don't even get why you chose me. Out of all the hot girls you can have; you go for a cute, baby-cheeked, weirdo that loves wearing oversized hoodies," I said and Marcus chuckled.
He held my hand and sat down on the bed, staring at me with the biggest, cockiest grin on his face. "You think I'm a sex god?" he asked, and pulled his bottom lip into his mouth.
My cheeks heated,"You know you are. Every girl, probably boys too, think you are."
Marcus chuckled,"Well, Baby cheeks, I like that I heard it from you. But let's get something straight... do you know why I chose you?"
I shook my head in response and Marcus' hands tightened around mine. "I don't get it, Marcus, there's other girls who are after you and I have to sit and watch them take you away from me. I don't want you to leave me but there's a small part inside me that knows you're going to leave me. I don't want you to leave me," I repeated sadly, on the verge of crying.
Marcus furrowed his eyebrows. He looked hurt. He cupped my cheeks and wiped away the tears that I didn't know where there.
"I wasn't planning on leaving you. Hell, I wasn't even thinking about it," Marcus said and held my hands again. "Baby cheeks, out of all the girls, you stood out to me. Not because you didn't chase after me or whatever, it was because I felt this weird connection with you. It sounds like a load of bull when I say it out loud but it's true."
Marcus smiled and wiped my tears away,"And guess what? This sex god likes this cute, baby-cheeked, weirdo that loves wearing oversized hoodies," Marcus said with a smile, staring up at me with his dark brown eyes.
I blushed, biting my bottom lip. My heart fluttered and my body heated. I didn't know what to do while Marcus stared at me, smiling. "So you admit I'm a weirdo?" I chuckled and hooked my arms around his neck.
"A beautiful weirdo," he added and I rolled my eyes. He stared at me,"You make me the happiest person, Baby cheeks," he whispered.
I smiled, feeling my heart race. My fingers ran through his hair.
"Because she's my girlfriend."
I thought about Marcus' words again. We weren't really dating... so what were we?
"Hey, Marcus?" I asked.
"Yes?" he mumbled against my skin.
My hand held his tighter and intertwined it with mine. I felt pure bliss by a simple touch. That was what Marcus Sawyer made me feel.
"Are we still fake dating?" I said softly, my face heating.
I felt Marcus smirk against my skin, "What I'm feeling for you isn't fake, Baby cheeks."
He never failed to make me smile, "Oh." was all I said.
Marcus whispered,"If it makes you feel better, will you be my girlfriend?" He gently placed me on the bed and climbed on top of me. "For real, this time."
My smile grew,"Really?"
"Yes, I want us to be official," Marcus said.
"Well... then," I pretended to think but I knew my answer was an immediate yes. "Mmm, yes."
Marcus' eyes lit up as he smiled. "I'd love to be your girlfriend," I whispered.
Our lips met and hugged him close. Getting lost in the kiss, I thought how my future would look like with Marcus.
Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.

The Flesh and Blood Dungeon
This is not the usual dungeon core story. I did not originally plan to make it humorous, but, well, you'll see. This fiction will not turn into a story about a bunch of adventurers who enter a giant boars anus looking for treasure. No promises tho.

Elder's Game
In a world set upon by an ancient threat, a new cycle of civilisation competes for power and resources. Amidst the games and politicking of Elder beings, the masses are unknowingly ensnared in plots and schemes that were centuries in the making. At the heart of the world’s workings lies the Tyreal Valley—a land that promises to fulfil the desires of those who seek it. As a haven for the truly strong, the path to this promise is paved more often than not in warfare and blood. To two young stragglers fighting for more than just their own fates, it is left as their only answer. But maybe that’s just what their enemies want. Magic system vaguely similar to GameLit ones (no system nor interface to help), with certain elements that are a bit more analogue. Politics, war, looming apocalypse, a tiny dash of kingdom building, and a minor bit of crafting. There is a bit of a progression element as well as both environmental and cultural exploration. The story follows two youths more directly influenced by aforementioned Elder beings than most. Neither lead cares for politics but certain situations force them into participating, forcing them to make decisions that shape their morality. Initially, the focus is on the male lead as he comes of age in an environment with little scope to change his future, only to be thrust into new circumstances that permanently kill some of his hopes. 3k words every chapter
