《The Nerd who cried Bad Boy》thirty four

The smell of fried bacon awakened me. I looked at the time, it was 9 am. I turned around and saw an empty space where Marcus was last night.
The covers smelled like his woodsy cologne, making me smile. I got up from bed and took off my oversized tee. I stretched and saw a grey hoodie placed on the edge of the bed.
It looked slightly bigger than my usual hoodies I wore. I took the hoodie in my hands and smelled it. It was Marcus'. I grinned and wore his hoodie, loving how oversized it was. It ended by my mid-thighs and covered my arms and hands. I ran my fingers through my hair as I left to go brush my teeth.
After I was done, I descended the stairs and went to the kitchen. There he was, making breakfast for the both of us. He didn't know I was watching so I took this time to stare at him.
How is this beautiful man my boyfriend? I thought as I stared at his toned, broad back and his tousled dark hair. He wore grey sweatpants that hung dangerously low.
He still seemed unaware that I was here so I crept up behind him. "Hoo-dees!" I shouted and Marcus chuckled and turned around.
"If you want to scare me, you'll have to do better than that," Marcus said and quirked his eyebrow.
I looked at him blankly,"It's over."
Marcus' mouth dropped open as his hand touched his chest. I grinned which turned into a laugh. "That's not funny, Baby cheeks. You almost gave me a heart attack," he joked. I cupped his cheeks and kissed him.
Marcus moaned, making my knees weak and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Marcus dropped the spatula and wrapped his arms around my waist, slowly pushing me to the island. I tapped Marcus' chest gently, my mind wanting to push him away but my heart said otherwise.
I gently pushed Marcus away and saw the hurt look in his eyes.
"Marcus, the food," I said and Marcus' eyes widened.
"Oh!" he quickly turned around and continued frying the bacon. "You're a distraction."
"Who? Me?" I asked innocently, my finger on my bottom lip. Marcus stared at my lips for a moment before his gaze returned to my eyes.
"Did I ever tell you that you look beautiful in my hoodie?" he asked and I smiled.
"You make me feel beautiful, baby," I said and winked at him.
Marcus smiled,"Come here."
I walked over to Marcus and he wrapped his arm around my waist and our lips met. I felt a familiar calm explosion as I kissed him. I gasped when our lips parted and Marcus deepened the kiss. I held the back of his neck. Marcus turned off the stove and I wrapped my legs around Marcus' waist as he pressed me against the wall.
His hands trailed under my hoodie, rising it up in the process and the bottom half of my body was exposed. I wore an underwear and a bra under the hoodie. Marcus bucked his hips against me and I let a moan, feeling his length harden.
Marcus started kissing me hungrily and a bit aggressively, almost like he was angry. I was surprised at the sudden change, placing my hands on his shoulders as I tried to push him back. His hands intertwined mine and pinned them above my head.

"Marcus," I breathed as he started placing kisses on my neck. My hands slowly went down to his muscular arms to his back, pushing him closer to me.
He groaned and kissed me one last time before he pulled my lip into his mouth, staring down at me with hooded eyes. He smirked causing me to blush and bite my lip.
"You have very tasty lips, baby," he whispered huskily and brushed his lips across my shoulder. "I bet every part of you tastes good..." his teeth grazed my neck and I tilted my head. Marcus' hands trailed down the sides of my torso and I chuckled. Marcus smiled too and pecked the top of my head,"I think you should eat before your food gets cold."
Marcus walked to the island and dished out the bacon onto the plate. I sat at one of the stools of the island and played with my fingers nevrously. He handed me the food. Eggs, toast and bacon,"I love the naughty side of you, Baby cheeks." he winked.
"Thanks," I smiled and leaned across the island and pecked his cheek. I thanked him for the food and the compliment. I sat back and started eating.
Marcus stared at me. I chewed slowly and uncomfortably. I gave Marcus a small smile and I waved to get him to snap back. He blinked a few times before he looked at me and smiled. I swallowed and asked,"Mar--"
"Baby cheeks, were you serious about you wanting to learn how to use a gun?" Marcus asked.
I furrowed my eyebrows,"Sure, I don't mind. It could come in handy when there's only one last Nutella jar in store," I said with a chuckle then stopped laughing when I realised I wasn't joking.
Marcus chuckled,"Are you sure?"
"Nutella, bro," I said.
Marcus furrowed his eyebrows,"So it's a yes?"
I nodded and ate my food.
Marcus mused and looked at me, "Finish up, I want to take you somewhere," he said and pecked my cheek. "If you want, you can wear my black hoodie," he said.
"Great," I said happily and Marcus walked to the stairs.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"I want to dress up and go to my house," he replied. "What? You want me to stick with you and finish what we started?"
"Nah, I'm good," I said blankly and Marcus frowned. I chuckled at his reaction at Marcus shook his head smiling.
"You're missing out," he said as he walked up the stairs.
"More like you're missing out," I retorted.
"Holy shit! My girlfriend is a comeback queen," Marcus joked and I chuckled.
"Leave Marcus!" I said dramatically.
Marcus laughed and I heard footsteps disappear upstairs. I sighed happily, so far my morning had been wonderful: Waking up realising Marcus was my boyfriend, a passionate kiss from Marcus and a breakfast made by him.
The best part was having him with me.
I finished with breakfast and got up from my stool and placed it in the sink. I went up the stairs and got to my bedroom. I heard Marcus talking and I furrowed my eyebrows. Quietly walking to my room, I stood by the door and listened in. Although I didn't want to eavesdrop, I was curious to know what the conversation was about.

"Will you stop calling me?" Marcus said, annoyed at the caller. "What?" he said softer and waited. "He's hurt?" pause "Okay, I'll be there now."
There was silence and I walked in the room. "Marcus?" I said and Marcus looked at me. I saw his eyes filled with sadness and pain. "Marcus?" I said. "Marcus, what's going on?" I asked.
"Baby cheeks, I need you to stay here," he said as he dressed into his jeans.
"Wait--"
"I have somewhere to be," He wore his leather jacket over his tee and left the room, walking past me. "Stay Baby cheeks," he called out as he rushed downstairs.
I was confused but stubbornness took over. No way was I going to leave him, besides, he left his gun on the nightstand. I took his gun from the nightstand and I ran out the door, I skipped some stairs and ran to the door. I shut the door once I got out and saw Marcus drive out the driveway.
"Marcus, wait!" I yelled and Marcus looked at me and glanced the other way as he drove onto the road. "Look what I got, baby!" I said smugly as I waved the gun in the air.
Marcus' eyes widened and the car stopped. He got out the car and slammed the car door shut. He rushed to me and tried to grab it out of my hands,"Alyssa, why the fuck do you have that?" he whispered.
"You left it on the nightstand," I said innocently, batting my eyelashes and pushing out my bottom lip.
Marcus groaned,"Give it to me," he said. "It's too dangerous for you to keep."
"So are you," I joked but Marcus took it seriously as anger flashed in his eyes and he clenched his jaws.
"Alyssa, give me the fucking gun," he said sternly.
"Marcus, I want to come with you," I pleaded as I held his hand.
His face expression softened,"Baby cheeks, you can't. It's not safe."
"Marcus, I don't care. I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to being with you. You told me that there's dangerous people after you and I know. You used to be part of a gang," I said as I held his hand tighter.
"Baby cheeks..." he whispered.
"Marcus, I want to know everything about you. Even the dangerous side," I said, staring into his eyes. "Marcus, I know how dangerous your life is. The dark scars on your torso tell me that, and this gun in my hand tells me that too. Now please just let me go with you," I said softly.
Marcus clenched his jaw and took in a deep breath,"Fine," he sighed and I grinned. I kissed his cheek and Marcus rolled his eyes, though I didn't miss the the smile forming on his face.
I returned inside the house and wore shorts under myhoodie and I changed into Marcus' black hoodie and I wore my black boots. I head back outside after grabbing three Oreo packets from my cupboard. I still had the gun in my hands.
I saw Marcus glare at me but he chuckled when he saw I had Oreos in my hands. We got in the car and I looked at Marcus. "I can't believe I'm doing this," he groaned as he started the car.
"You love me that's why," I teased.
Marcus sighed but smiled,"Can't argue with that."
Realising what he said, my cheeks heated and lips parted. My heart raced as I ate another Oreo biscuit.
He drove the car to wherever he was going. I put his gun in the glove compartment. I opened one packet of Oreos and ate one. I looked at Marcus and took one biscuit and brought it to his mouth.
His eyes met mine when he bit the biscuit out of my hand. He ate it and looked at the road,"Marcus, what was the call about?" I asked hesitantly.
Marcus' hand tightened around the steering wheel,"The rival gang beat up my cousin. He's seriously injured," he said and his voice cracked at the end.
I frowned and placed my hand on his thigh, I rubbed it gently. "I'm so sorry," I said, feeling sorry for him. And somehow, I felt his pain. "Who is this rival gang?" I asked.
"You'll know soon enough, Baby cheeks," he said as took my hand and kissed it gently. Five minutes later, Marcus stopped the car and got out. I hesitantly followed him, rushing after him. He held out his hand and I smiled, holding it instantly.
It looked like we were in the woods again. I saw the huge Ferris wheel that Marcus had brought me to. Marcus walked further into the woods and I started to get scared.
Marcus is here, my mind reminded me.
I caught up to Marcus, walking next to him. We both walked fast to whatever location. My slightly laboured breathing was audible, we had been walking into the woods for three minutes after passing the Ferris wheel.
A small, rusty looking house appeared in sight. "Come on," Marcus said and rushed to the house. I nodded and followed.
The white paint on the house was peeling off and it was rusty looking. The house gave me shivers, and I gulped nervously.
I knew what I was getting into when I agreed to date Marcus.
And I still don't regret it. Marcus looked me at me and then the house. Marcus knocked on the door and looked around us. The door opened and I saw Sam. "Marc--" His eyes widened when he saw me. He clenched his jaw and fisted Marcus' jacket. Sam pulled Marcus inside and pushed him against the wall,"What the fuck are doing bringing her here?" he yelled at Marcus.
"Dude--"
"Don't fucking 'dude' me! Tell me why the fuck did you bring Alyssa here?" Sam said, his voice low and dangerous.
"It's not his fault, I asked to be brought here," I stammered and Sam moved his gaze to me. He glared at Marcus.
"You're so fucking weak," Sam said to Marcus and Marcus clenched his jaw.
"Let go of me," Marcus warned and they glared at eachother for a few seconds before Sam pulled away from Marcus.
I sighed in relief, kind of regreting to be here. I looked around the house, it looked better than the outside. The air smellled like smoke and other things I wasn't familiar with.
As soon as I met eyes with one of the guys that were sitting on the couch, my breath hitched. About five guys with guns were in this room, staring at me in shock.
