We were at a random stop, near the woods.

Erik was calling people who were going to prom if they knew where Alyssa was. Cameron was pacing up and down, muttering things to himself. Chase was eating McDonald's while he typed away on his laptop. He always ate when he was stressed.

Xavier was drinking an Oreo McFlurry and Ian ran his fingers through his hair. Sam and Kendall were staring up in the sky, talking to themselves.

And I... I was smoking a cigarette. Not the best idea or time right now but I was stressing again and Chase claimed he could track down Alyssa's phone. It has been ten minutes and he hadn't said anything.

"Chase, what the fuck is taking so long!" I shouted and opened the car door.

"The password, I just seemed to have forgotten it," Chase said and shrugged.

"Isn't it burgersrule?" Ian said as he glared at Chase.

Chase froze before he laughed,"Oh yeah! My password hint is the password. I'm such a fucking genius."

I wanted to kill Chase at that moment but he was smart at times. Smarter than me, probably. So I depended on him for this.

"Yeah, I can't do this." Chase shut his laptop and put it beside him. The boys all paused and looked at Chase.

"What?" I stared at Chase.

"What did you expect? It only took me ten minutes to think of the password. What makes you think I can track down Alyssa's phone? She has to call us first," Chase said and finished eating his burger.

"You should've us that, Chase!" Erik banged on the door hard and Chase shrugged though he looked worried and stressed. No one had ever seen Chase sad, quiet and worried before. But I have. Only when his sister was kidnapped and killed, the gang that killed his sister was then after to kill Chase but Vincent came to help.

Suddenly my phone started ringing and I quickly took it, answering it. "What?" I asked then put it on speaker.

"Hello Marcus," the voice said. The voice so familar that it made me sick to my stomach.

"We know you have her, James," I said through gritted teeth. The gang circled the phone, listening in the conversation.

"That is what we were aiming for, Sawyer--"

"Why her?" Sam said.

"Why did you have to involve her in to this?" Kendall added.

James chuckled. "I thought it would make everything a little more interesting." I heard him blow smoke. "And maybe having Alyssa by my side will make you obey my orders."

"James, just let her go and we promise we will do anything you ask for," Xavier pleaded.

"How about I give her to you after you give me what I want." It wasn't a suggestion. It was a command.

"What do you want?" Ian said as he ran his fingers through his silky, long hair.

"Well not much," James said. I could almost imagine the smirk on his face having me to all his control.

Fucking bastard.

"I just want two million dollars by tomorrow morning and I'll let her go," James said.

"What?" we all said.

"By tomorrow morning!" Chase repeated.

"Like I said, I am not asking for much. Sawyer, you owe me way much than that," James said calmly. "And that's all I want. Two million dollars, I'll check up on you at midnight. If you fail to bring me the money, say goodbye to your little sweet Heart," James said.

I heard Alyssa's crying at the background. "Marcus! Marcus, please help me!"

"Alyssa!" My heart ached at the sound of her cries.

"Marcus! They want to ki--" Alyssa screamed but suddenly she stopped.

"Alyssa! Baby, don't worry we'll help you okay?" I desperately told her.

"We promise," Chase said and I saw him chew his lip nevrously.

"Please," she cried loudly and it sounded like she was being kicked and punched. I felt tears well up in my eyes as I imagined them beating up Alyssa. I couldn't do anything.

"Fuck!" I shouted and punched the car door instead of the window. I sighed, "Just fucking stop. Stop them, James!" I shouted through the phone.

"Okay, okay." James chuckled and told the guys to stop.

"Don't touch her, James. Or there will be hell to pay," Ian warned, a dangerous look clouding his eye.

"We'll bring the money just tell us where we have to meet you," Xavier said.

"We'll discuss where we have to meet when you have the money. I'll check on you at midnight," James said calmly. "And if you think of bringing the cops with. You'll regret it." James hung up the phone.

I dropped to the floor and stared up the nightsky.

"Where the fuck are we going to find two million dollars in a few hours?" Erik said, he started pacing back and forth again.

"I've got 24 dollars in my wallet if that counts." Chase nevrously chuckled.

"Okay does anybody know some sort of millionaire or something?" Cameron said.

"What about the drug money?" Xavier asked.

"It's not enough!" I sighed. "It's not enough. And we can't sell drugs now. It's too late and we have no drugs to sell," I said.

I didn't want to sell drugs but if it meant saving Alyssa from James, I would gladly.

"Should we tell Alyssa's dad about this? He seems rich, he's always away on those business trips," Xavier said.

"Or María... she kinda seems rich too," Erik added.

"Jesus Christ," Ian muttered. "We're losing time, can we just go? We split, half of us go to Alyssa's dad and half of us go to Marcus's mom."

"Right." we nodded.

"Marcus, Sam, Kendall, Chase and I will go to María," Ian said. "Then the rest of you will go to Alyssa's dad."

We separated and drove to the places we had to go to. I looked at my watch, watching the seconds waste away as I drove.

I coughed out blood, the blood staining my white dress. I wiped the blood off my lips as I breathed heavily.

James stared at me with no expression on his face. He sneered at me, enjoying me getting beat up.

"What?" I said and quirked my eyebrow. I clutched my stomach tightly, pain taking over my body. No matter how hard I tried not to cry, I couldn't.

James dropped the phone and gave it to one of his bodyguards. "Do you think they'll come for you?" James said and he blew out smoke after taking a drag from his cigar. I didn't answer him though I knew that were going to save me.

I trusted them.

"Of course." James grinned. "Marcus, the hero, will come to save you."

I panted, glaring at James as I gritted my teeth. He stared at my body before smirking again,"Nice dress, Heart. Though if you wore a black dress, you wouldn't see the blood stains on the dress. But you had to be... unique... too special to wear dark colours."

I didn't say anything. I just let the asshole talk.

"Aren't you going to say anything? Huh?" James said. "Baby cheeks? " he smirked.

I didn't like him calling me that. I loved it so much coming from Marcus.

Marcus.

James chuckled to myself and dropped the cigar to the floor and crushed it with his shoe. He backed away and walked to the door. "Tie her up." Those were his last words before walking out the room and letting the two muscular men tied me to the metal pole.

Then one banged my head against the metal pole hard and I screamed.

My eyes snapped open when I had heard a scream.

Is that Alyssa?

The scream had came from the room beside me and I was sure that was Alyssa screaming.

Or it was some other girl that they had hostage. About five minutes later, I started hearing faint cries of help. My eyes widened when I had realised that that could be Alyssa.

They had finally got her.

I needed a plan to get out of here and help Alyssa out of here too. I bit my bottom lip and looked around, looking for some tool to help me out of these cuffs. Luckily, only my one hand was cuffed to the wall. I just needed the guard to come in so I could take the key from him.

"Hey!" I shouted. "Is somebody out there? I need some assistance!"

There was silence and I tried again.

"Hellooooo! Is somebody out there! I'm hungry!" I shouted then waited. They gave me food once a week and I hadn't eaten anything in two days yet.

Someone burst through the door and marched in which was the guard. "What?" he said, annoyed.

"I'm hungry. I didn't eat breakfast," I said.

"What should I do about it?" he said, eyeing me.

"I don't mind oatmeal," I murmured lowly, wanting him to come closer to me.

"What?" he said, not hearing a word I said.

"I said I don't mind oatmeal," I murmured again and then I randomly started coughing.

"What is wrong with you?" He walked closer to me and I grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall repeatedly. I kneed his stomach and grabbed his head and knocked it hard against the wall making him drop to the floor.

I sighed, grinning. I crouched down and searched for the keys in his pockets. I found his phone and car keys as well and I put them in my pocket. I uncuffed myself and threw the key away. I held the cuffs in my hand as I walked out the door cautiously.

The hallway was dark and it was very vacant. I could hear murmuring in the next room where I assumed Alyssa was in. I breathed in deeply before sneaking to the other the room and getting in. My eyes widened when I saw Alyssa. Her white dress covered with blood stains. Her blood. Her short hair in a messy state and her weary face.

I snuck in and hid behind the door. I saw Alyssa see me but she didn't say anything since I had put my finger over my lips, gesturing her to keep quiet. One guy kicked her until Alyssa fell to the ground. I bit my lip, clenching my fist, praying that I don't jump in and try to defend her.

I wanted the guys out so I could untie her and we could get out of here. The two men left the room after one guy had tried to kiss Alyssa but she had kicked his crotch. The other had laughed at him and they had left, closing the door behind them.

I sighed and immediately ran to Alyssa, her weak body trembling in pain and fear. "Alyssa," I whispered and helped her to sit upright. She leaned against the metal pole, breathing heavily.

"What do you want here?" she said, weakly. It hurt to see her like this.

"I'm here to help you," I said, looking desperately into her eyes. Wanting her to trust me again.

"Bullshit." she rolled her shoulders. "You work for James. You said so yourself."

"Yes." I nodded, not feeling proud of what I did. "I used to and I'm sorry. I feel guilty of what I did Alyssa and I want to get you out of here before it's too late. I really care about you," I said, staring into her eyes.

She stared at me for a moment before letting out a breath. I immediately started trying to untie the ropes but suddenly I heard shouting from the next room.

"Shit," I cursed.

"What?" Alyssa asked.

"I escaped from my room now I think they found out," I said and stood up, running my fingers through my hair. "I'll be back for you okay? I'll be back with Marcus and the gang. I promise."

I hid beside the door again so when someone opened, I'd be hidden. I heard footsteps and the door was opened.

"Where is that little bastard?" the man shouted.

Alyssa shrugged wearily. I could see she was scared but somehow she acted calmer than I had expected.

As they entered the room to search it, I exited and left the building as fast and as carefully as I could. I searched for the guard's car and found it in less than a minute.

I got in and started it. Suddenly, about seven guards ran out the building and after me as I drove out the parking lot. I accidentally drove over one as I drove onto the road.

"Idiots." I shook my head.
