Tears started forming in my eyes and finally fell out. Marcus looked at me sadly and kissed my forehead and ran his fingers through my hair. "Don't cry, Baby cheeks," he whispered and wiped my tears away.

"How dare you say that, you heartless Greek god!" I cried loudly. "He's dead! He died!"

"Yeah... okay I think we all got that," Xavier commented as he blocked his ear because of my crying.

The gang was over my house and while Alyson had a sleepover her friend's house and my mom and dad went out for their anniversary. They would be back tomorrow.

We were watching movies, typical thing we always did together. Now we were watching The Fault in Our Stars. I watched that movie a few times but I still cried like it was the first time I was watching it.

I wasn't the only one who was crying: Ian, Cameron and Erik were crying too... well everyone was crying. Marcus had tears in his eyes when the movie ended.

Chase laughed and tears fell out of his eyes,"Well... that was the most boring movie I have ever witnessed. So boring that it made me cry."

We all knew that was not true.

"Aw, we missed half of the movie," Sam and Kendall said simultaneously as they came in from the front door. "Can we start--"

"No!" Chase rushed and everyone looked at him weirdly. "It was boring... I don't want to cry again."

I chuckled and stood up, stretching. My phone vibrated on Marcus' lap, he looked at me before he picked it up and opened it. He knew my password since I had told him.

"It's some Instagram notification, and your aunt just sent you a message," Marcus trailed off.

"What's it say?" I asked.

"What dress size do you wear?" Marcus said, reading the message my aunt, Nora, sent me.

"Why?" I asked after I told him anyway. Then I paused, realising why she wanted my dress size.

It was her wedding day in two days.

"My aunt's getting married on Saturday," I said.

"Ooh, we want to go to a wedding," the boys said simultaneously.

I smiled,"It's already full. Only two hundred people were invited."

"Make it two hundred and eight," Marcus said.

"Okay..." I sighed. "I'll ask my aunt now."

I sat on the coffee table and took my phone from Marcus. I dialed aunt's number and pressed call. She answered on the third ring and I put the call on speaker.

"Yes, sweet Heart," she said.

"Hi Nora, how are you?" I asked.

"I'm good, sweetie. You?"

Chase snickered,"Sweetie."

I glared at him playfully,"I'm awesome. Oh, and aunt, my friends want to come to the wedding too."

"Aww, honey, the seats are full. Unless... how many of your friends are you inviting?" she asked.

"Uhm... eight," I said slowly.

"Eight?" My aunt repeated. "Why eight?"

"I can't invite half of them, the other half will think I don't like them," I said. "I love them all equally."

"But she loves her boyfriend more," Marcus said and aunt chuckled.

"Why, hello Sawyer," she said.

"Evening Ms. Collins," Marcus greeted.

"Please don't tell me you're alone with my niece... I don't trust you alone with her," Nora said and Marcus smirked and winked at me.

"Actually no, she's not," Marcus said.

"Oh thank God," Nora sighed.

"She's with me and seven other people," Marcus said.

"What?" Nora shouted. "Alyssa!"

"Nora, it's okay. Sydney and Henry know about it. Although Henry wanted to strangle Marcus before leaving the house," I said.

Nora sighed,"Okay. But there's no free seats, okay? It's too late, I'm sorry."

"Fine." I sighed and smiled sadly at the boys. "I love you aunt."

"We love you too, Nora," the boys said simultaneously.

"What? Were those your friends?" Aunt asked.

"Yes." I nodded.

"They're all boys!"

"I love you, bye!" I switched off my phone and sighed. "I really wanted you guys to come with."

"It's okay," Cameron said and wiped his tears away.

"Why are you crying?" Ian asked.

"Augustus died for crying out loud," Cameron said as he cried. I also started tearing up as I remembered the movie.

"Just search for another movie to watch. A comedy movie so that we rather laugh to death... not cry... to death," Xavier said as he entered the room, with a mixing bowl in his arms while he mixed the cookie dough filled with chocolate chips.

While Chase searched for a comedy movie to watch, I went to my Instagram and liked pictures. Then I saw Veronica's page. She had been posting pictures with her new friends without Bree and it seemed like she had been having a nice time. Bree had been posting pictures with Aeri and Emma, and Bree still had her pink hair that she didn't dye back from that prank.

I immediately gasped. I pranked Bree and ruined her eighteenth birthday. I don't know why but I felt bad. "Alyssa... why are you staring at that picture of Bree and two other cute girls?" Chase asked. "We're about to watch Aladdin."

"That's more like a horror movie for me," Xavier commented.

I chuckled.

I sighed and placed my phone beside me. "What's wrong, Baby cheeks?" Marcus asked.

I sighed,"I don't know. It's nothing."

"If it's bothering you, it's something," Marcus said. "Do we need privacy?"

I shook my head,"I just feel bad about pranking Bree."

Marcus furrowed his eyebrows,"Baby, that was months ago. Why are you still thinking about it?"

"It's just... I ruined someone's eighteenth birthday... I don't know about you but I feel like that is important," I said.

"When is your birthday?" Marcus asked me and I glared at him.

"We've been dating for months and you don't know when's my birthday?" I asked.

Marcus quirked his eyebrow,"Do you know when's mine?"

My lips parted to reply but I suddenly fell silent,"Don-- Don't you dare change the subject!" I said through gritted teeth and Marcus stared at me before slowly smiling with me.

We knew eachother's birthdays... hopefully.

"I feel like I should set her up a birthday party just to say sorry and she can actually celebrate her birthday," I said.

"Celebrate her birthday... when it's not even her birthday?" Marcus said slowly and quirked his eyebrow. "Really? Alyssa, really?"

"Yes, actually, it's a wonderful idea!"

"What is?" Sam and Kendall asked and all the boys looked at me.

"I set up a birthday party for Bree. We can do it tomorrow," I said. "We'll make it pink... 7 rings vibe."

"Too much pink makes me look sexy," Erik said.

"And I kind of have a little crush on Ariana Grande," Cameron said.

"What does that have to do with the birthday?" Xavier asked.

"So... you want to set up a party for Bree?" Marcus asked me.

"Yes!"

"You're really not okay," Erik said. "Why would you do that?"

"Because I'm a nice person," I said. "We can set the party at her house since she's going out with Aeri and Emma. I'll ask Bree's mom for permission."

"You're serious about this?" Sam asked.

I nodded,"In fact. I'm going to her mother's right now."

"With who's car?" Marcus looked at me and smirked.

"Yours..." I said hopefully, he would agree.

"If he doesn't agree, we have a car, Alyssa," Ian said.

"Okay, okay, okay." Marcus stood up. "I didn't say no, I just asked."

I squealed,"Yes, thank you."

"Well, see you losers later," Chase said and waved. I left the house with Marcus and we got into the car and drove to Bree's house. I didn't tell Marcus where Bree lived, he already knew.

We got out of the car and I knocked on the front door of Bree's house. I prayed that Bree's mom would open the door and luckily she did. She looked a lot like Bree but her mother had black hair.

"Hey, Alyssa, the girl who left it a mess in my house. And pranked my daughter," Bree's mom said and smiled. "Thank you."

Marcus and I shared a look,"What?"

"Bree is nice and respectful to me... wait... come inside," Bree's mom said and stood aside so we could enter. She closed the door and told us to make ourselves comfortable. We sat on the couch in the living room and Bree's mom had made us some coffee.

"Anyway, about Bree. She's acting nice, respectfully towards me and she's less more out going... she's more quiet and doesn't talk to me that much anymore... in other words, she's depressed," she said and I felt myself feeling bad again.

"Because she's not friends with Veronica?" Marcus said.

"She said that?" Bree's mom asked.

"She said she missed Veronica. They were best friends," I added. "Where is she now?"

"Upstairs, sleeping," she replied.

I nodded.

"So why are you here?"

"Because..." I looked up the stairs then back at Bree's mom. "I want to set up a party for Bree tomorrow. While she leaves, we'll set it up here and surprise her... that is if you'll allow us."

"Of course, I can leave tomorrow and sleep at a hotel. I just want Bree to be normal again," she said.

"The same one who treated you badly and never obeyed your rules?" Marcus asked.

"She never treated me badly, she would always come home before her curfew," Bree's mom said.

"Bree has a curfew?" Marcus and I said in surprise.

"Yeah, she has to be home before midnight," she said and we nodded, understanding.

"Mom, Alyssa, Marcus... what are you doing?" Bree asked as she slowly walked down the stairs.

"Oh, Keene, your friends came to visit," her mom said to her.

"Oh," Bree nodded. "But why?"

"We just wanted to see if you were alright," Marcus told her and Bree nodded, smiling.

"Well... I've never been better," she said but we knew she didn't mean it. I never thought she would be so sad losing Veronica. I don't blame her though, if I lost Aaliyah or the gang as friends, I would be very sad.

We stood there in silence, Bree stared at me and Marcus. Marcus smiled awkwardly and patted Bree's shoulder,"Well, I'll see you later."

"Yeah." I nodded then hugged Bree. I felt a faint touch of her hand on my back when she hugged me back.

I pulled away and Marcus looked at Bree before reluctantly hugging Bree. She smiled softly and hugged Marcus back.

"Thank for checking up on me then..." she smiled at us both though I could see the sadness in her eyes. "I guess I'll see you later."

We smiled and left.

"How will we invite Veronica 'cause I don't think she will come to Bree's house," Marcus asked.

"Can I borrow your phone?" I asked but took his phone anyway.

"Uhm, I guess so." Marcus shrugged and I smiled. I used Marcus' phone to text Veronica and I pretended to be Marcus:

Veronica had replied in to this in seconds:

I had replied:

She's moving to the UK tomorrow.

I switched off his phone and gave it back to him.

"coser y cantar," I said which meant 'piece of cake' in Spanish.

Marcus looked at me with a proud smile on his face. "You're getting good."

"I'm kind of a pro," I dusted off the imaginary dust off my shoulders.

"Can you say what you just said in Spanish?" Marcus asked with a smile on his face.

I froze,"Well, I didn't say I am professional."

Marcus chuckled and rolled his eyes.
