《✔️| Gilbert (K.M. Love Story)》~••♪5♪••~

Ariana Gilbert groaned gently and rolled over when she felt someone tapping her shoulders continuously, eventually she permitted her eyes to open though it changed nothing, though the darkness was slightly lighter, the only sign that she was awake rather than asleep.
"Who is It?" She asked and she heard a very familiar yet strained giggle, allowing her to identify the person easily as her sister. "What's the time Lena?"
"Half five"
"In the morning?!"
"Yes in the morning, I need to go out with Alaric to train and I won't have enough time to help you get ready after so I'll help now"
"Okay" she grumbled and allowed Elena to help her stand, it slightly saddened her that she had to rely on people so much but she had no other choice, she couldn't see. "What am I wearing today?"
"A red skirt, a white t shirt and low lacy heels, your favorite ones remember?"
"Yes" she hesitated for a moment "you know I don't know what red looks like right?" Elena merely chuckled at her reply and escorted her to the bathroom, helping her to wash and dress before doing her hair in loose curls and handing her a pair of fashionable sunglasses.
Sometimes Elena adored being able to care for Ariana, it was like having her own life sized Barbie doll but sometimes she wished she didn't need to help her, when they were younger; their mother or Jenna would help her but now Elena was in charge.
"There are laces on your shoes, they are ribbons so if they come undone you'll have to retie them okay?"
Ariana was proud to say that she could tie laces, in fact she'd learnt to do most things without help, she could usually dress herself as well but she didn't always get it right and it was easier if Elena just helped her to start with.

"Okay!"
"The ribbons are slippery so be careful"
"I know Elena, go and train, I'm fine" she giggled and Elena sighed but bid goodbye and exited the room, she heard her phone ring to her right and grabbed it, her senses allowing her to pick it up. It was voice controlled which she loved.
"Unknown caller"
"Answer" she replied, she didn't like being unknowing and the only way she'd find out who was on the other end of the phone is if she answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello little love"
"Nik!" She giggled and her hands aimlessly played with the fabric of her skirt.
"Why are you up so early sweetheart?" He asked in slight guilt, only then realizing how early it was, he hoped he hadn't awoken her but shook the feeling away, powerful hybrids shouldn't feel guilt.
"Elena went to training so she had to help me get ready early" she explained and Niklaus thought about it for a moment, he couldn't imagine what it was like to not be able to see, he could only imagine that she needed a lot of help.
"Well I'm glad you are awake because I need to talk to you"
"You are talking to me silly" she giggled in her harmonious tune which was music to his ears.
"No, I've left town"
"B-but you didn't say goodbye!" She exclaimed, she had realized over time that everyone left her eventually and that saddened her, she thought it was because of her 'disorder'.
"Hey, shh, I know that's why I'm calling" he explained to her and she relaxed slightly. The pair of them were shocked by her reaction, Ariana couldn't understand how she had gotten so attached to the man who'd killed her aunt so quickly and he felt the same way.

"Will you come back?"
"I've grown to quite like your little town love" she frowned at this response.
"Is that a yes?"
"It's a maybe" she sighed when he said that and for some reason, they continued to talk for an Immeasurable amount of time and eventually Alaric called her to take her to school.
"Bye little love" he hung up but she answered anyway.
"Bye bye Nik" she stood and took her phone with her, her hand trailing along the walls and down the stairs until she felt a hand on her shoulder, she reached up and took it, identifying the person as Jeremy. He escorted her down the stairs to where Alaric was waiting.
"Let's go little one" he chuckled and looped their arms together, escorting her through the door and down the short stairwell to the driveway.
"Where's Lena?"
"She's already left, she went with Bonnie I believe"
"Oh"
"Let's get going then, before we wound up being late for your first day of senior year."
----
"Aria!" Said female giggled when she felt the warm arms of Caroline Forbes in circle her waist, she grinned to nothing in particular and took the cheerleaders hand, allowing her to escort Ariana to the school and away from Alaric.
"First day of senior year" Elena sighed.
"Does anyone else think this should feel more empowering?" Bonnie queried.
"Try going to Julliard." Ariana whispered lowly but they all heard her and smiled gently.
"Okay so prank night was a bust but we're not going to let that spoil our senior year!" Caroline cheered "you see, I can't let the fact that my boyfriend is now a hybrid spoil this moment"
"Exactly, and I can't let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his ex, dampen this day" Bonnie attempted to relay Caroline's enthusiasm.
"Today's our anniversary" Elena suddenly stated and they all turned to her. "Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year"
"Yeah...you win" Ariana sighs and takes her sisters hand in a spare one. The blind doppelganger was however unaware that her sister smiled at the affectionate action.
"Right then, off we go" Caroline tried to prompt. "First day of school" still none of them moved "lessons to do" they still stayed still but eventually Ariana giggled and walked forward, the others following her.

The Caring Dungeon
NOTE: I, as an 'author' am on a(n) (indefinite?) Hiatus. Without getting into too many details, the person who convinced me to write, who was my muse and my everything, is no longer in my life. I think about writing and I get physically ill and ache in ways that transcend the physical. I want to want to write, but I cannot find the energy. Life events, combined with apparently thin-skin when it comes to personal attacks on this platform, make it impossible for me. The messages, comments, and reviews I recieve(d) were so detrimental to my mental health that I've already removed one story from this website. This one remains up only because the criticisms located in this work are about my writing, and not personal attacks.I just felt like I should put something out there for anyone who is thinking about starting this story. It is not completed. I don't know that it ever will be at this point. I have lost my muse.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not everything in this world is natural, and it's only natural to fear the unnatural. Fortunately for Manning, he was natural. Unfortunately, he found himself to be in a very unnatural state. Manning was trapped inside of a gemstone, called a dungeon core. Luckily for Manning, he found himself capable of using his newly found unnatural power to make a nature filled forest. With the help of Cara, his unnatural roommate, and Ash, his nature spirit companion, Manning dreams of covering the continent with the most beautiful and dangerous forest it has ever seen. His only other goals are to protect himself and Cara, and if he could ever remember, recover his memories. This is my first time attempting to write anything. Updates whenever I can find the energy and desire to write.
