I was tending my garden when I first heard it.A commotion of some sort.I frowned and cleaning my hands on my skirt got up to inspect it.

I walked in the direction the noise was coming from.It was near the main house.So many people had formed a circle just outside the main door of the pack house.They were yelling at someone or something.Some were pointing and cheering aloud at whatever was happening in the center. Many girls were fanning themselves.I took a few steps closer but not too much so as to gain their attention.What is going on..?

They were not moving even an inch.How am I supposed to see then..?I wasn't exactly the tallest here.Nor was I the bravest so as to push them aside, albeit gently and know what the ruckus was about..?

As gingerly as I could I circled the side lines and climbed up the stairs leading to the main door.It helped in gaining some elevation for me.It was then I saw the dark head of Aeran. He was shirtless and involved in some kind of taunting match with another guy as per I could make out.His back was tensed,ready to attack at any moment.His shorts tugging low on his lean hips.I saw most of the girls drooling at his shirtless body.His arms bulged with muscles.I could only imagine how he looked upfront.I could understand the need of those girls to cool themselves down by fanning.

Aeran was facing away from me.Ravine was standing sideways to him,her arms folded with a sneer on her face looking at the other guy in front of Aeran. I gasped suddenly.It happened so fast.One moment Aeran was engaged in conversing with the other guy,the next moment the other guy was on his back, lying on the ground.I looked as amazed and surprised as everyone else. Aeran appeared calm and collected.He wasn't even breathing hard.How had he managed to throw the guy down so fast and without even breaking a sweat.

The silence was broken by the hooting that had started then.I stood on my toes for a better view .I saw Aeran's form bending down to the ground where the the other guy was sprawled. He pulled the guy up by the collar of his shirt bringing his face closer, to whisper something.I saw the guy's face then.The once reddened cheeks from exertion had lost its color.He looked scared somehow.I tried to hear what was being said but it was impossible due to the commotion.

Aeran stood up and looked to Ravine who was smiling with stars in her eyes.She closed the distance to Aeran and pulling his head down kissed him fully and passionately, on the lips ,right there in front of everyone.The cheering escalated but my heart stopped beating.The kiss went on longer with everyone's clapping and whooping.Some of the guys whistled as the kiss became more intense and hot.My eyes didn't divert from the scene playing out before me.In some parallel universe, I might have been bold enough to go there and separate the two.But in this one,I stuck with my cowardly self and ducked down the stairs.I started walking back to the garden.Nothing else left to see.I don't know why I tormented myself.?

I heard someone calling me.I turned back and looked around at the circle of the people .I found no one interested enough to bother with me,still engaged in their own business.I frowned.I definitely heard someone.The cheering ceased after a moment.I resumed my walking again.Not really wanting anyone else to notice me and start another event with me in center.

But someone did notice and the hazel eyes tracked the brisk movement of the disappearing witch.

Another day had passed.I lifted my quilt up to my head,waiting for Aeran to come to his bed so I could sleep as well.I don't know how it started.But I couldn't sleep unless I knew he was there safely sleeping on his bed.I waited everyday ,no matter how late he was.I smiled as I thought about him. He never forgot to make as much noise as possible when he entered the room,switching on all the lights and taking loud steps, then turning on the shower and falling heavily on the bed after wards to sleep.All this to rudely interrupt my sleep. He did everything to make my stay here impossible.Never letting me forget who was in charge here.I am sure he did it to torment me in his own weird way.I'll never admit to anyone how cute his antics were or how much I enjoyed them.Did he really think this will make me leave..?!

The door opened with a bang.Nothing unusual.I lay quietly, not moving.He proceeded to complete his daily tasks of switching on every light in the room,trying to find something by making a cluttering sound on the table,roaming here and there with loud steps and then finally going to take the shower.As he was shutting the door,A loud voice called out his name. Aeran rushed to the patio doors.He listened for a moment. I pulled the quilt further down my body and sat up to know what was going on..?

I got up and moved a bit closer.My heart came to my throat as I saw him climbing over the railing and jumping down.What is he doing..? "Aeran "I screamed fearing the worst.I gasped and ran as fast as possible and looked down the railing .I heaved a sigh as I saw him running to the woods along with Rave. What is wrong with him.?

Without wasting any more time I ran down the stairs and outside into the woods where I saw him disappear into.I walked further but couldn't find them..Where did he go..?

A group of girls were heading towards me.I hid .They were chatting excitedly oblivious to the fact that I was hiding behind the tree.I decided to follow them on instinct.

We walked for a few minutes.I stopped as I saw the girls joining the sea of people already assembled there.It didn't take me long to point out Aeran from the others.He stood there with his hands on his waist.All the faces were directed towards him.It wasn't only his attractiveness that drew you to him.He was fearless.Not deterring from his purpose.Unwavering.Unbending.If he said something you listened.He stood there relaxed.A predator waiting for his prey.Not even that whole thought had crossed my head when a group of guys entered the scenario.All looked intimidating to say the least.Silence ensued.Slowly some guys also took their position behind Aeran.I could feel the tension emanating.Rave came to stand beside Aeran. The leader of the gang came forward and started saying something. Aeran's body tightened further but nothing could slice that glacial mask on his face..He was pissed.

I concentrated hard to hear.But I was too far.With extreme caution I walked a bit closer and hid behind the nearest tree.I didn't want to think how this'll end for me if anyone found me here, spying on them.I was too engrossed in making out what was being said between the two parties that I missed the heat of another body near me.

"Did it start..?" I yelped and stumbled as a voice said.I looked at my right to find a guy standing there same height as mine.

My mouth hung open and I stared dumbly at the intruder.He shrugged "What..?" Without giving any more attention his gaze focused up front.I backpedaled my steps now scared of what this new discovery will mean for me. I decided not to wait for him to shout out and announce my presence.I turned back and prepared to run as fast as possible before they caught up to me.The boy who was the same height as mine turned around to face me and whispered again"Where are you going..?You don't wanna miss this."

I stopped and gaped at him.I opened my mouth to say something.But closed after several tries."Aren't you going to inform them of my presence here.Don't you know who I am..?"

He snickered as if I was joking "Why would I do that..?And I do know who you are." His eyes inspected me before they resumed their initial position.

I was confused. Hunh..?! "Who are you..?" I asked as I made myself stand near him again.I had not seen him on the pack grounds ever.

He shook his head "Same as you.An outcast."

"An outcast..?What do you mean..?"

He turned to me fully then and explained "I am a human."Pointing out his hand towards Aeran and the others he said "According to them ,anyone not possessing the wolf genes is the same as the dirt beneath their shoes.So I am the same as you.An outcast." He gave me that "duh" look and peered back.

I looked as well to find that the leader guy who appeared as tall and muscular as Aeran ,was now shouting obscenities.Rave rushed forward to grab the the leader guy by his neck.The leader guy didn't even flinch as got out of the tight hold and punched Rave right on his face sending him flying back to the ground near Aeran's feet..

"Oh fuck.Awesome." The boy laughed.I was shocked.

"What is going on..?Who are these people..?I am not sure I have seen them before in the pack." I whisper shouted at the boy.

"That's Zero.The Alpha of the Moonlight Pack,our neighbors." He replied.

Hmm."Why are they fighting..?"

He was exasperated by now I could tell."Which world do you live in..?Don't you know anything that goes in here..?"

My lips tightened."Well I will know everything if someone even bothered to talk to me." I spat calmly.

He looked at me then eyes widening.As if just now realizing my status in this pack.Then shaking his head he smiled.His eyes crinkled.He was young.Same age as mine.He offered me his hand to shake."I am sorry.I am Dane."

I glanced at his hand doubtfully but relented and shook the offered hand."Zairi."

"Nice to meet you ,Zairi. Okay now to tell you the long story short.You see that tall girl standing over there." I followed the direction he pointed ,to find Ravine.

Aeran was smirking at leader guy.He appeared calm and collected but the Zero guy was getting agitated as the second passed.I was getting goosebumps now.I was getting a feeling that I won't like what Dane was about to say next.Nothing could have prepared me for the shock that I was about to get.Still,I nodded my head.

"Well our friend Zero here wants her in his bed.And as you already know our popular Ravine is after our own famous and hot Alpha who in turn thinks that he is deeply in love with her.So here they are fighting over that slip of a girl to know whose bed she'll warm tonight."
