after I'd lost my virginity to the man of my dreams, Kentrell. I was at my school's campus to submit some of my projects in hard copy and surprisingly a few people recognized me as Kentrell's girlfriend and took a few pictures with me to my utmost shock. I mean I'd be expecting remarks and all but not requests for pictures. I'd gotten a good amount of attention on the Instagram app over ten thousand followers with little efforts on two of my own pictures out of five posts and the other three were videos of Draco, Taylin and Kacey acting a mess as always.
I caught a Lyft ride and was on my way to Darajah's place. The driver kept talking my ears off with so many things I couldn't even type properly on my phone without his words interrupting my thoughts. Eventually, he dropped me off at a nearby restaurant, I had to pick up lunch for Darajah and I.
"Um, let me get the Trio Special." I ordered.
"Just in luck, the first three orders of the Special today will be on the house and you're the second person. Here you go." The waitress handed me the plastic bag. I smiled and thanked her and tipped her regardless.
On my way out of the restaurant, I bumped into someone and nearly fell on my butt if the person hadn't caught me by the waist. It was a guy probably in his mid 20s or so with espresso skin to go with his waves and nose piercing. He pulled me up gently and supported my bag of food.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't really looking," he apologized.
"It's fine because I'm a bit clumsy myself and should've stepped aside." I clarified. He nodded and stood there staring down at my figure intensely, for a second I thought he could see my nakedness through my shirt and leggings. I cleared my throat to catch his attention, "I'll be on my way now."

"Okay see you 'round." He said. I walked around him to the exit. Although I never looked back but I strongly felt his gaze on me behind which made me speed up my process to vamoos.
I arrived at my friend's place and the door opened before I could ring the bell and out popped Joe. He smiled at me and hugged me briefly before jogging to his car and zooming off before I could say a word. I shrugged and went inside, Darajah was nowhere in sight.
"Dayyyy, where are you at? I brought your food!" I called to her while taking out the food from the plastic bag. I went to the kitchen to get plates and there she was wiping down the counter with a wet napkin. "Uhhh, why are you cleaning the counter with Lysol and..." I paused to sniff the air a bit more then it hit me like the smell, "...why does it smell like wet vagina and balls in here, Darajah."
Darajah chuckled nervously and ran her fingers through her sweated out disheveled and sloppy looking weave and I knew she's never had her hair in such condition before, then she blurted out, "Joseph and I just fucked right here on this counter and maybe in the guest bathroom too—"
"That one there was a violation personally I wouldn't have liked to know that." I scrunched up my nose and stepped back out. Soon, Darajah joined me in the living room with two plates and spoons, she hurriedly uncovered the food containers and dished some of everything for herself. Not saying a word until she had stuffed her face.
"Mmmm, these bitches the fuckin' bomb. But none comes close to your throw down in the kitchen. Mm-mm." Bits of the food in her mouth flew out as she spoke and I mentally gagged.

"Keep your mouth shut while you eat, Day, nobody's trying to see you swallow your food." I waved her off and ate some myself.
"Ok Proper, wassup with your graduation, I know students in your department be boring so I bet no huge plans for leaving college."
"Right, but you know I'm not even interested." I shrugged. "Barely knew anyone there till now I'm about to graduate so their plans wouldn't even apply to me."
"Girrrllll, turn the fuck up! You're leaving college and I bet your degree would be gold cuz I know how focused you stay in them books so don't even. I'm gon' do something for you though like I always try to tell you. And yeah you can't stop me." Darajah danced while eating a wing. "Mmmh, I'm definitely tryna' see what the rest of their food tastes like."
"They're really nice and their services are even better. Also I'm not accepting no extravagant gifts from you Day, heads up."
"Shut up." She hummed and gulped down a glass of cold water before releasing a loud belch. "Don't fuckin' excuse me!"
I smacked my lips and laughed, "A damn mess."
"Did you just cuss without Kentrell's dick in your guts?"
"Quiet girl, and yes I did so? I'm grownnnn," I sang poorly and went to clear up the empty plates and bags. Darajah followed me to the kitchen and we were washing the dishes.
"...he was staring and I was like do you have a staring problem or whatever. I just left him and he watched me till I was out of sight." I explained to Darajah about the guy I literally bumped into at the restaurant when I was getting our food.
"Was he just fine or fine fine? Cuz I can feel it he's probably not ugly but surely not all that." Darajah asked.
I shrugged, "He was good looking but he's no Kentrell. I mean my man may not be finest out there to some but he's definitely my eye candy."
"Damn, ole dude and every other nigga can't compare huh? It's what that dick does to you." I nudged her side with my elbow and she laughed.
"Says a fellow victim."
We cleared up and went to the bedroom to watch some Netflix and chill. We snuggled up on her large Alaskan king bed— don't know why she had such a huge bed but I never complain it was the comfiest asides from Kentrell's— the air was on high with only the thick comforter and our body heat from us hugging up underneath to keep us warm. I loved our bonding moments like such. It showed how much closeness we shared as friends and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.
"I love you sunny Day." I pouted with my eyes closed.
"I love you more Snicker."

Eater of Spirits
Story is abandoned. There will be no more updates on it. Jarod is kind of a loser, as it goes with these stories. A tear in his reality pulls him into another world, where he gains the ability to devour spirits, the locus of magic within the world. This is far from my first foray into fiction, but it is my first time posting anything to royal road, and first time writing LitRPG. This is an exercise in putting things out there, and just writing. That means that all of this is going to be a first draft, where edits may come sparsely if there is a glaring issue or something I think should be better. Thanks for reading!

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.
