Cameron eventually replied to my message agreeing to meet with me. He sent me his location and it showed he was somewhere in Fort Worth. It was a about a forty-minute drive, which I did not mind since I like driving. I closed my MacBook and walked to my room. I grabbed a pair of dark grey leggings, a pink pull over and threw it on the bed.
I went into the bathroom and brush my teeth before washing my face. I put what I picked out on and grabbed some random shoes. I popped my safe open and grabbed my purple and black Glock forty. You can never be too safe. I grabbed one of my sprayground bookbags and placed my essentials inside.
I turned the lights off and made my way to the front. Since I had put the food up earlier, all I had to do was grab my phone, mac, and keys. I headed out of the front door, making sure I locked it from the inside. Going towards the elevator, I got on and pressed 'P' for the parking garage. After a minute ride, I got off and made my way towards my hellcat.
I hit the lock button three times listening to it roar. I opened the door and slid in placing my bag on the floor of the passenger side. Bringing my seatbelt across me, I clicked it. Picking up my phone going to Cameron's thread, I tapped his locating and placed my phone on the dash. I pulled out of my parking spot and started the quest to my destination.
"Can't get you off, nah, nah I'm done with wasting time. Let us create love and war I want your body on mine. Girl I still fe- In zero point three miles turn right onto Lancaster Avenue."
What the hell Siri! That was my favorite part. Shaking my head, I turned onto Lancaster and kept straight. "Arriving at your destination in two hundred feet. You have arrived, your destination is on the right."
I slowly approached the building reading the sign. 'Fitness City' I parked along the sidewalk and shook my head. This nigga got me meeting him at a gym? It is a public place, so I guess that is okay and at least I dressed the part. I pressed the button and killed the engine. I grabbed my phone and texted Cameron.
hey, I'm here, I'm in a white hellcat.
with some black shoes. (rims)
okay, I'm about to come get you.
I scrolled through Instagram to kill a little time and calm my nerves. I am a little nervous because I have not been alone with a guy in forever. But I feel like this will determine if it goes anywhere. A knock on my window startled me and I upped my gun. I looked up and it saw Cameron with his hands up.

"I don't want no problems ma'am."
I chuckled. I unlocked the door and he opened it. I grabbed my phone and keys before throwing my left leg out. He held his hand out, so I grabbed it and he pulled me out of the car. He shut my door and slightly pushed me up against it.
I dropped my head because eye contact makes me uncomfortable. He put his finger under my chin and lifted my head up. "You gorgeous as fuck mama."
If I were two shades lighter, I know for sure my face would be red as hell.
"Come on. I'm finna work you out, and we can talk afterwards." He grabbed my hand and walked in front of me leading the way.
About forty minutes later, I had come to realization that Cameron was a nutcase. After the first ten minutes I was done. He is not about to kill me. I sat back and watched him workout. I pulled my phone out to kill time. Checking my emails for orders, I see that my week is going to be busy. I looked up and saw Cameron staring at me.
I shifted under his gaze.
"What? Why are you looking at me?" I switched to the camera app. I made sure my sound was off before taking the picture. I am keeping this.
He walked towards and stood in front of me. Licking his lips and held his hand out. "Come on. It is a juice bar down block. We can sit outside and talk."
I took his hand and jumped up. I dusted my butt off, looking around making sure I did not leave anything.
"Let me go get my bag from the locker, then we can leave." I nodded my head and stood up against the door. About two minutes later, he was walking from the back phone in hand.
"Let me take yo picture."
I shook my head and tried to go out the door, but he grabbed my wrist. It was not tight, but it was firm. I reluctantly turned around.
"I don't do pictures."
He shrugged. "I don't care, you're going to do em' today."
I rolled my eyes and stood by the door. He put the phone up and I heard the click go off.
I turned around and walked out of the door. "Damn."
I heard him whisper. I laughed to myself and kept walking. Pushing the main door open, I walked out and waited on him.
"Come on, it's this way." He pointed to the right. I started walking beside him. It was silent, nice, and comfortable. The whole way to the juice bar, JJ Got Juice, he didn't say anything, I guess he wanted to save what he got to say.
Approaching the establishment, he opened the door and let me walk in first.

"Thank you." I ran my eyes across the menu trying to see what I wanted. Cameron was behind me and it was like I just felt the heat radiating off him.
"You know what you want mama?" I nodded my head and we walked up to the register.
"Hey, can I get a large pineapple orange and whatever she's getting."
"A large pomegranate lemonade."
The cashier nodded. "Name for the order?"
"Cam."
Cameron and I stood off to the side and waited until his name was called. I was looking out of the window watching the people walk by. I felt him staring at me, but I refused to look at him.
"Order for Cam!"
He retrieved our order and motioned for the door, so I walked over and pushed it open—stepping out. I held the door open for him and he walked towards a table at the end of the sidewalk.
I sat down and he passed me my drink. "So, what's up?"
He threw his hands up. "You tell me, you're the one that wanted to meet up and talk. But if you want me to talk first, then I will."
I nodded my hand and rubbed my hands along my thighs trying to calm my nerves.
He took a sip of his drinking before speaking. "I can admit that I might've came off a little too strong in the messages, but I felt played when you didn't respond back after I asked you out. If you didn't want to go out with me, all you had to do was say no instead of ignoring me. In my eyes that is childish. If you do not want to kick it with me, just say that. Don't waste my time mama."
He looked in my eyes the whole time he spoke. I was uncomfortable, but I could not just tear my eyes away for some reason. I cleared my throat before speaking.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you, that honestly was not my intention. It is just ... I haven't been in a relationship or got to know a nigga since I was a junior in my high school." Deep breath Bri, deep breath.
"Uh I had a bad break up and that resulted in my ex doing something to me. He hurt me bad and it caused me to build a guard up around me. I try to let it down, but it is hard, and I am scared. I know all dudes are not the same, but I cannot just stomach the thought. I would not say that I am damaged, but I am a work in progress. If you are willing to work with me, I promise you will not regret it. If not? I understand."
He reached his hand slowly towards my face and I closed my eyes until I felt his hand on my face. He cuffed it. "If I want you, I'm going to get you."
I instantly felt my cheeks warm. I tried to put my head down, but he had a nice firm grip on my face. My phone going off caused us to break the stare. I pulled it out seeing my sisters blowing up the group chat.
🧚🏾♀️💕
I put my phone on silent and looked back up at Cameron.
"Everything straight?"
I nodded my head. "Yea, it's just my sisters."
He stood up and grabbed our now empty cups and threw them away. "Come on let's get you to your car."
He walked me down the block to my car and as we approached it, I hit the lock button and it roared to life. "I ain't really look at this earlier but this mf nice."
I opened my door and placed my phone and key inside. "Thank you, it was a graduation gift from my father."
I leaned up against my car and looked at him. He still had his shirt off. I shook my head. "C'mere."
I walked towards him and pulled me into a hug. I savored and inhaled his scent. Even though he had just finished working out, he smelled good.
"Let me know when you make it home."
Pulling away, I nodded and got in my car. He shut my door and tapped the top of it twice. I drove off and stopped at a gas station. I pulled up to a pump and parked. I pulled my phone out to see what my sisters were talking about.

where tf you at?
I was with Cameron.
I sent that and set my phone in the cupholder. My phone started going off and I just shook my head while laughing.
I grabbed my gas card and opened my tank before stepping out. I grabbed the nozzle and pushed 91. I swiped my gas card and looked around. Leaning up against my car waiting on it to finish. About two minutes later I heard the click and removed the nozzle. I placed back and got in the car. Peaking at my phone seeing my sisters blow up the chat.
🧚🏾♀️💕
I laughed out loud and pulled my seatbelt across me. I put the car in drive and pulled out the lot. Let me get my ass home.
