Today was a big day for Cameron Amari Hayes! After everything that transpired last year, the condominium was finally finished. Even though he doesn't own the building, he was still invited to the ribbing cutting along with his family. Cameron finally has his first building under his belt with a HUGE payout totaling up to 10.5 million dollars. He placed 2 million into his wife's account and 2 into both of the twins' trust funds and he put the rest into his business account. It would have went towards the wedding but it's not needed because Dakari was cutting the check.
"Baby! Have you seen my shoes!"
Brielle shook her head as her husband yelled for her. He's been yelling all day and she knew that he was nervous. Bri walked out of her bathroom being that they were at her parents, and walked into to her closet where Cameron stood pulling at his hair. Bri popped his hand and scowled him.
"Pooh, stop before you be bald and calm down. Your shoes are out here in the duffle."
She grabbed his face and pecked his lips three times. He smiled placing his forehead on hers. His breathing relaxed and Bri knew that this was all he needed, a moment of calmness.
"I hate to break up y'all moment, but get y'all bad ass child."
Cam and Bri both whipped their heads towards the door and shook their heads in the process. Kailani was standing there holding Airy, who had tear stains on her face along with a pout.
"Lawd, it's always you. What you done did now stanka?" Cameron stretched his arms out and she leaped out of Kai's, damn near hitting the floor. Cam wiped her face kissing her all over.
"You know them plants mama got by the fireplace?" Kai turned to look at Bri who gasped.
"No she didn't!"
Kai shook her head laughing. "Shiddd! I wish I was. Lil mama pulled them right out the pot. Ma tapped her thigh and I swear you would've thought she was dying the way she was crying."
Bri shook her head and followed Kai out of the closet. "I don't know why she so bad."
"It don't know either but I'm about to go finish getting ready. I think Miss Sasha has Mari."
As Bri turned around, a smile stretched across her face at the sight in front of her. Cameron was sitting on the bench and he held in Airy in his lap talking to her about her behavior. She was nodding and smiling like she understood what her father was saying. Bri shook her head and walked away letting them have their moment.
About a couple hours later, the family loaded up in two all black Mercedes Benz Sprinters. Cam's parents along with Bri's pulled out all the stops tonight for him. They were all proud and knew this was a big day. They wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. When Cameron got the notification of the money transfer he passed out. He was used to seeing large amounts of money because of his parents, but he has never had that much to his name.
"Come here and let me fix it." Brielle told Cameron as she turned in her seat. She had been watching him the whole ride as he gnawed at his lip and messed around with his collar. Boy was a nervous wreck and she needed something to distract him before his mind went into overdrive. They were seated in the back, so she knew couldn't nobody hear them.

"Let's talk about our first date."
Cameron smiled small looking down once he realize what she was doing. Bri shook her head as she felt him staring down at her. She unbuttoned his shirt as he started talking.
He raised his eyebrow and smirked. "I know you not talking about the date that you took forever to agree on?"
Bri smacked her lips. "Not too much on me now, but yes remember we went to Dextérité?"
"I remember mamas. You had that bright orange dress on that I wanted to rip off you so bad. I think it was long sleeved with your favorite heels and your hair was straight. What y'all call it? A bust down middle or some shit like that."
Letting out a laugh, Bri shook her head and buttoned his shirt back up fixing his collar the right way. "Don't say that no more and let me find out you wanted to freak me on the first night."
She titled her head to the side smirking cause she knew he did. She'll never forget the way he looked at her that whole night. Bri knew from that night forward she was stuck and she wouldn't want it any other way.
Cameron licked his lips. "Cause I did, but I didn't press the issue cause I knew for a fact I wanted you long term. I knew I wanted to be with you. I was just waiting on you to allow me to show that I did. Once you did that? It was a wrap."
Bri smiled in his face. "I'm glad I allowed you to show me because I'd probably still be single today."
"You know, our story is very similar but yet unique. I was afraid of loving anyone again because the actual thought of loving someone else scared me. The thought of trying again sacred me. I would think about it and would literally panic. That girl did me bad, but I found you and it didn't scare me. What I tell you that one time? It's just something about you that pulls me in. Your everything is just different, but it's like the different was made just for me. Believe it or not, you actually helped me learn to love myself again. That's why I'll always quote Lao Tzu. Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage. You give me strength mamas and me loving you gives me soo much courage. I love you with everything in me beautiful."
He cuffed her face and wiped away the stray tear with the pad of his thumb.
"Y'all we here!"
Cameron looked to the front of the sprinter at Bari and nodded. "Can y'all get the twins? We gonna be out in a minute."
He turned back to look at his wife who was full of tears. He shook his head because the twins did her bad. Brielle was already a crybaby but since giving birth? It's like she got extra tear ducts.
"Stop crying mamas. You know your eyes get puffy." He stood up and grabbed some tissue from one of the twins bags. He wiped her face but tears kept rolling. He stopped and looked at her like girl.
Bri laughed and fanned her face. "I'm sorrrrry but you can't say nothing like and expect me to be calm. I can't even speak my piece cause I can't stop crying. Oooo I imagine what them vows gonna be like. Cause why you do that!"

Cameron starting laughing as she starting whining stomping her feet. "I'm sorry baby, but you know everything I say come from the heart. Feel how you make me feel."
He grabbed her hand and placed it over his heart that was beating fast. She looked up in his eyes smiling while shaking her head. "This conversation is not over, but let's go before they think we making baby number three. Let's go show the white folk who's the mastermind behind this."
Tilting his head to the side, Cameron smirked. "That don't sound like a bad idea."
Bri busted out laughing. "I bet it don't, but let's go."
Cameron shook his head and climbed out of the sprinter first. He grabbed Bri's hand, holding it as she stepped down. She fixed his suit jacket nodding her head in admiration. "Damn boy why you so fine? You put this shit on! Oooo I love when you dress up like this."
He was in fact fine. Cameron had on the Andrew II plaid vested suit by Rossi Man over a all white slim fit dress shirt from David Edwards with the Victor Track dress belt by Valentini, and pair of the Double Buckle Cormac dress shoes by the infamous Johnson and Murphy. He had his signature gold necklaces on along with his nose and earrings placed in their rightful places. He was also sporting one of his watches from his wife's collection.
Correlating like always, Brielle has on a short sleeve off the shoulder mid-calf bodycon dress. It was the same color as Cam's suit and her jewelry was in fact blue, matching his navy blue vest. The twins were exactly matching their father. Their little dresses were blue with bows that were made out of the same fabric as his suit.
Bri turned around and gasped. "Oh my god! Baby you did this? You designed this? What the fuck."
Letting out a light laugh. "Yes ma'am."
"Oh my godd! Amari you're beyond gifted."
Cameron kissed the side of her face and grabbed her hand guiding her to the entrance. Her eyes danced around the whole lobby in shock. "I'm sooo proud of you pooh! You and your team work fast cause how long this take? 2-3 years? There's no way."
He shook his head smiling as he listened to her ramble. She was definitely excited and happy for him. This was very major. I mean jumping on your first project straight out of college? Yea, Cam definitely snapped.
"Mr. Hayes."
Cameron turned around and was met with the owner. He pulled Bri to his side and released her hand. "Mr. Lee."
They shook hands and released each other's. Mr. Lee smiled and looked around in satisfactory nodding his head. "You did good son, a lot better than I expected. I was very skeptical at first being that I knew very little of your work and name but a recommendation from Sasha James spoke for you."
Cameron's eyes went wide hearing his mother's maiden name. He quickly fixed hisself before Mr. Lee noticed. He glanced over his shoulder and saw his mother staring right at him. She winked and held up her glass before joining the family. Cam smirked and shook his head.
"I'm glad everything met your expectations. This is my wife Brielle, by the way."
Bri held her left hand out and Mr. Lee shook it. He noticed her ring and held her hand longer than intended.
"Oh wow. This ring is beautiful."
Showcasing a big smile. "Thank you, I designed it."
Mr. Lee was impressed. "You're a jeweler?"
Nodding her head. "Yes, I'm the owner of The Diamond Palace."
Cameron stood back a few steps and smirked as he watched his wife network. He loved seeing her in business mode. He loved hearing the authority in her voice that gained people's attention.
"Oh yes! I've heard of you and your work. I've been looking for a new jeweler and I think I just found her. You wouldn't happened to have your card on you, would you?"
Smirking to herself, Bri opened her clutch and handed over a business card. Since she opened her store, she doesn't leave the house without any.
"I will be contacting you soon. Mr. Hayes, join me for the speech please. I want everyone to see who's behind this."
Cameron was shocked because didn't think he would've be invited up. His feet wouldn't move as Mr. Lee walked away which cause Bri to give him a much needed push. She walked away and found the family.
"Ma!" She smiled as both twins started yelling for her. She took a seat by her daddy who was holding a sleeping Toot. Bri grabbed Mari and Airy sitting both in her lap.
"Attention please!"
Everybody became quiet as their attention was place on the stage that sat in the middle of the floor.
"Look there's dada." Bri whispered in the twins ear and they started clapping along with a little screaming.
"Ooo gah damn! This put my little cereal box to shame." Jabari shook his head looking out of the window.
After the speech and ribbon was cut, they were allowed to tour the building. Cam took the family all the way to the penthouse suite and everybody was amazed. When Cameron said luxury condos, he wasn't half stepping.
"That boy said cereal box. Somebody please come get me up off this floor!" Nova shook her head as she tried to control her laughter.
Her reaction made everybody laugh harder than intended to.
"Can we pleaseeeee go get something to eat? Y'all know these white folk can't cook. Lil ass finger food." Dakari mugged as he held Toot and Mari.
"Let's go then. What we waiting for?" Jabari was the first person to run to the door only to trip over his feet. He hit the floor and just laid there from shock and embarrassment.
"Oooooh my fucking god. I'm 26! How the hell am I still clumsy?" He said out-loud particularly to no one.
The family just shook their heads holding in their laughter.
