Chapter Thirty Six
Drew’s POV
The truck races along the damp roads, the sounds of water droplets hitting the windshield echo in my jumbled thoughts. I clutch onto the steering wheel for support to keep from exploding all my anger out here. The anger pulses through my veins giving me energy to do what I came here to do.
“Drew you’re driving around randomly, do you have any clue where Harmony even is?” Sassy demands fixing her lip gloss in her tiny compact mirror.
I shake my head unable to laugh at her because of the anger I feel in my veins.
I don’t know where she is. I thought that it would come to me once we started driving. I thought long and hard about it while we were on the boat. But nothing comes to mind. I know I know where she is, it’s just hidden underneath all the fond memories I have of her and I.
I don’t answer her. I clear my mind and focus on the road, letting my thoughts drift to her.
Mony Peaches where are you?
And as soon as I think that thought, Ian’s phone rings. A shrill sound slicing the silence of the truck. Ian signals for me to turn of the road and following his instructions I do so. I steer the car off the road and turn to him, my eyes wide. Sassy leans forward in between the space where the armrest is to listen.
Ian glances at the caller ID and his eyes widen. He flips open the phone mouthing “It’s Him” My hands clench into fists and I jester for Ian to put it on speaker phone, and he does so.
“What do you want Blaine?” Ian hisses.
I hear Blaine’s wicked chuckle from the other end, “Nothing much, just wanted you to hear for yourself”
There’s a shuffling noise on the other end of the phone and a whimper of pain after Blaine’s shouting.
“Drew” An all too familiar voice whimpers from far away on the other end.
My heart squeezes at the sound of her voice and I reach for the phone, grabbing it and holding it close to my mouth, thinking it will bring me closer to her.
“Mony” I gasp, “Mony Peaches”
A strangled choke bursts through the phone causing my throat to clog with knowledge of whom it’s come from.
“Peaches-“My voice is cut off when another shuffling noise breaks through the speakers.
“Listen here Drew” Blaine snarls, “I’ve got my girl, so it’s all good. And believe me when I say, if you try to come and steal her from me, I will kill you the minute I see you” And with that the line cuts off just as a sob rips through the phone.

I slam my hand down on the steering wheel forgetting the phone still in my hand. The phone breaks to pieces against the wheel, yet I don’t even notice it. I know where she is now. And were not far. I don’t care if I die; I’m getting my girl to safety. The fear in her voice just from a single spoken word killed me inside.
I tear off the road, slamming my foot down on the gaze, “I know where she is”
Sassy nods and sits back in her seat snapping her fingers. Without saying anything, Sassy with great difficulty pulls her dress up over her head, leaving her in a pair of bra and man underwear.
“Sassy what the hell are you doing?” I holler, averting my eyes.
Ian on the other hand, doesn’t seem to mind that his filthy eyes are glued to my little sister. Scanning her up and down his eyes fill with lust.
“I can’t run in a dress Drew” Sassy shrugs as if it’s not a big deal, propping her feet up on the armrest. Her heels still on. Ian’s eyes are attracted to her legs this time.
“But you can run in heels?” I demand, swatting at Ian giving him the signal to remove is his eyes from my little sister’s legs.
Sassy shrugs and nods towards the road, “Focus older brother, Harmony remember?”
I glare at her and step harder of the gas; the trees flying past us at top speed.
“I never forgot” I murmur, stepping harder onto the gas.
Ian clears his throat, “So what’s the plan?”
I peek at him from the corner of my eye, “No plan. I’m going in, you fella’s are my back up. I call you come, get it?”
Ian shakes his head, “Not happening bro. I know how much you mean to Harmony, I’m not letting you get yourself killed”
I grit my teeth together, “I’m not going to get killed”
“Are you frigging def Drew?” Sassy shrieks, “Even I heard Blaine’s threat, he’s going to kill you and don’t doubt it”
Ian nods, “My brother is many things, but a liar is not one of them. He’ll make do on his threat, you best believe me”
“I’m a trained cop. I’ve gone through so much training that I could kill with my back turned. And not to mention that sheer will and love is making me do this, and I don’t need you guys getting killed either. Harmony needs me, and I’m here to get her”
Sassy shakes her head just as I pull up a distance away from the shack. The shack where Harmony revealed to me what happened to her in the hotel room.

“No Drew, Harmony may need you, but you’ll be no good to her dead” Sassy hisses, “I don’t care if I have to fasten myself to you with a rope, neither me or Ian are staying behind as frigging back up. That is NOT what I came here for. I came here to save Harmony and that’s what I’m going to do, while keeping you safe. Don’t you dare make her leaving useless, she left to SAVE you, and I’m going to make sure it wasn’t in vain”
With that Sassy loads her gun and shoves it into her bra, “Let’s move”
I nod, gulping. What am I going to see? Is she going to be safe? Hurt? Tortured? A picture of Harmony lying bloodied and bruised on the cabin floor haunts me to the bone. I won’t let any of those things be true, Harmony is going to be fine.
I load my gun also, turning to Ian who is doing the same thing and ask him a question that has been on my mind for a while.
“Why are you doing this?”
Ian smiles faintly, “Because I did nothing to stop it last time, when I really should’ve. Harmony is important to me, and I didn’t notice that then. All I noticed was Addy, and then when she broke up with me, I realised that Harmony should’ve been saved. And now, I can make that happen. I’ve been given a second chance”
I smile at him, “And if you run into Blaine? You’re willing to kill your own brother?”
Ian shrugs an odd glint in his eyes, “After what he did, I’ve not seen him as my brother. It was cruel and wrong, no person should do that. I’ve cut off all ties with him”
I slap him on the shoulder and picture Harmony, Blaine staring down at her. My reason for coming invades my senses and I open the door quietly a crack.
“Blaine’s mine, no matter what, his blood will be on my hands” I declare hopping out of the car.
Sassy and Ian both nod, following me out of the car. The both close to the doors behind them, and remove the safety locks on their gun. I nod to them keeping it quiet and nod to the men hiding in the woods. Only three I can see.
Sassy, Ian and I hurry into the woods, shooting the guards. Sassy grins as hers falls to the forest floor and pulls out her stick of lip gloss writing an RIP on his head, moving on to do the same to the other two men Ian and I shot.
Ian and Sassy stay behind as I run towards the cabin doors, not hearing a sound.
“Keep watch” I mouth to them, “You’ll know when or if I need you”
Sassy flashes me a thumbs up and Ian merrily nods scanning the woods for any more of his brother’s men. I walk up the steps to the shack, the shack that is now scaring me. All I can think of is the look of terror in Harmony’s eyes when she saw this place that night with Echo.
A sense of protection and anger over come me for the millionth time tonight. Bitch has my girl! I think in my head, cracking open the door to not alert attention.
Once the door is open, I slip inside and my eyes scan around the room. Nothing. No Harmony, no sign of Harmony. Angry knowing she’s here I step further into the cabin and stop dead in my tracks.
Blood. Blood red Blood. Dripping from the steps is blood, making a trail up the stairs. My eyes widen and I become murderously angry. That better frigging be Blaine’s!

Hey y'all! Sorry it's up so late but I walked home from school and it's not a very short walk. Then I ran into some of my guy friends and walked the rest of the way with them making the walk even longer because we can't fooling around and stopping to be jack offs. ANYWAY, I know this isn't much but I just wanted you guys to have another chappy in Drew's POV. Next will be in Harmony's POV from the point when she was taken.
Song on the side is Next 2 you by Chris Brown Ft. Justin Beiber. I actually really like this song, it's catchy. I guess when I first heard it I automatically thought THAT'S TOTALLY DREW AND HARMONY! So I thought what the hell? Like Avril Lavigne says.

Until a fateful day when a game of hide and seek turned into tragedy. When she woke up, her life had turned on its head, everything she had now slipping away from her. That day her quiet life began— an unforgiving life where all odds are stacked against her. **************** Hi there! This is my first webnovel story! I hope you will enjoy it and help me make it better! I try to keep my chapter lenghts between 1,500-2,500 words The story will follow Silika, the young daughter of an aristocratic count who becomes handicapped and must adapt to a world not designed for people in her situation. She will have to struggle through her disability, religion, family, abuse, trauma and politics. The world will not be kind to her, but she will find her place. The tone is a bit darker at times in this story, but not in 'edgy' or 'grimdark' way. They reflect the main character's struggles. There will be happy times, funny times, but also sad times and painful time. The main character will grow and learn in what I hope will be a very interesting experience for you all to read!
