Fierce Deity!Link x Reader
(idk too much about the Fierce Deity, so forgive me if I get some of these wrong :') I also haven't played the game in a while soo-)
---------------------------------------------------------
The mask. That mask. It was called The Fierce Deity. It had always scared you... You knew about how powerful it was and never wore it; but Link has. He has only used it once and that was to defeat Majora. It was some time ago that it happened, but the memories haunted you.
The way the Fierce Deity looked at you with it's blank white eyes, staring straight into your soul.
You shook your head at the memories and looked around you. You were in Termina Field, thinking that some sword practice would be a good idea. Your (E/C) eyes scanned the area for another monster to fight...but none around just yet.
Link was sitting in a tree, watching you, but at the same time he was looking at his masks. Just staring. You sighed and looked at him. "Link? You okay...? Can you not just.. Stare at those all day?" He looked up and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry, (Y/N).. I.. Can't help it." Link looked back at that certain mask, you rolled your eyes and swung your sword around at the grass.
Not knowing of the two Dinofols and green chuchu behind you and Link not paying attention, they had attacked. You screamed as one of the Dinofols slashed at your arm, while Link still didn't notice.
You easily killed the chuchu, but had some trouble with the Dinofols. "Link!! I need help!!" You shouted to him, waiting for the Dinofols to attack. Then, Link had looked up, his eyes narrowed.
Your (H/C) hair moved with you as you dodged one of their attempts. Two more Dinofols came, hissing and circling you. You yelled as one of their blows hit your back, leaving a harsh sting and a mark for sure.

Knocked to the floor, you called out for Link, knowing you couldn't do this alone. Link had jumped out of the tree, the mask in his hands.
You sliced at one of them, cutting it's arm and drawing blood. They continued to circle you, trying to hurt you. Your (F/C) shirt and pants were grass stained, course, you didn't care at that moment.
You heard a yell from Link and more slashes from the Dinofols. You had all sorts of cuts and marks on you... But then it all stopped. In what felt like a second, Link had killed all of the Dinofols. They were left in pieces, making you shiver at the sight.
"L-Link...?" You looked at him, fear washing over you. Link had put on the Fierce Deity mask. "I thought you'd never wear that again..." You said quietly as those eyes burned into you. He was nearly twice as tall as you and it scared you.
The Deity had no expression and you looked at your wounds, trying not to pay much attention to it. It tilted its head slightly and kneeled down next to you, watching. You looked back and jumped, your heart racing. "Link...? Can you hear me in there?" You looked into the white eyes as it stared into your (E/C) ones.
"H...el..p.." It tried calling out and your eyes filled with concern. You cupped its face and gently tried pulling the mask off, making the Deity pull back. "I'm sorry- I'm trying to help..!" You say quietly and it shook its head slightly. You look it its large hands and moved them to its face.
"Hey.. How about you take it off instead? Please..?" You asked, your (E/C) eyes wanted to spill tears. Out of fear or concern, you didn't really know.

The Deity smiled. Smiled? Yes; it smiled and held your hands. "S..orr..y...(Y/N)..." You were a little confused and then, the Fierce Deity was gone. It was replaced with Link, who was hugging you. The mask landed with a quiet 'thud' and Link shook his head. "I'm sorry.. I should've gotten rid of that.. I.." You hugged him, being careful of your wounds. "It's okay.. You saved me after all.." Link looked at you with his bright blue eyes and smiled.

Author: Rubbish and short synopsis I know. New one appreciated if someone wants to. Second attempt at writing after pausing the first work at a writer's block. Feedback highly welcome. Second attempt at a synposis. Somehow I can't seem to make it work. Removed Traumatising Content tag. This is mainly a slice-of-life with romance and hints of comedy since I can't make a joke lols. It will be relatively short since I'm just wanting to see if I can follow through to complete a story as I envision it. Cover from google images. I do not own this art.

Vast Asleep
The story of Kingard the Binder in the aftermath of Broken This short story is the epilogue of Broken, the second book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. It’s a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers but is set apart from the full-length narrative. Vast Asleep follows the story of Kingard, who finds himself caught in a world called Mother's realm, bathed in glowing light but strangely stuck in place. He encounters his greatson Varyan there, and learns that his experiences are likely dreams. As he grows more accustomed to the loving realm around him, Kingard remembers fear and trepidation about the face of the world, and he loses contact with his companion. This story answers the question, Is Kingard really dead? with a tentative no, and new mysteries brewing. It also raises the question, What's happening while he's awake? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Ride Awake, about Kingard's situation with the Colkh'rak. Praise for Tales of the Known World Bookends: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between the epilogue and prologue is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well. -- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
