《(Discontinued) Unexpected (BoTW Link x reader)》Chapter 10

(Your POV)
The sound of people moving about woke you up. You tried going back to sleep, but to no avail. Giving up, you turned on your other side, meeting almost face to face with Link. He was asleep with one arm under his pillow and one arm over your torso. He also had a little bit of drool pooling on his pillow. Yuck. Glancing around, you noticed all the other guests had already left their bed, meaning you had probably slept in. You really enjoyed the warm, cozy feeling of cuddling up to someone, but decided that maybe the future of Hyrule was more important. Maybe.
You gently shook Link in an attempt to disrupt his sleep. When you got no response, you lightly started patting his cheek repeatedly. It was kinda funny.
"Whatareyoudoing(y/n).." Link mumbled.
"Time to get up. Come on." Link groaned at this, making you be a little more forceful. You began to poke him whilst repeatedly saying "come on. Come on. Come on." He sorta brushed your hands away before you were fed up.
"Link, for fucks sake..." You then pushed him off the bed.
"Owwwww... owieeee. . ouch that huuuuurt...."
You yourself then rolled out of bed and walked to the other side to offer Link your hand in assistance. He stared you down before gingerly accepting.
"So. What's today's plan?" you questioned.
"First, we teach you some manners. Who in Hylia taught you to push people off beds?"
"Well," you started, crossing your arms, "who taught you to ignore someone? Hmm?"
"Fair enough. Anyway, I plan on having us both enter Gerudo village or whatever it's called. You can stock up on supplies and such while I go talk to the chief. I'll see if I get get her to help."

"How so you know the chief is a she, huh? You just assuming at this point?" You had nothing else to tease him about, so you were taking every chance you got.
"Uh, no. Dudes not allowed there, remember? So the chief is obviously female." You crossed your arms once again, though he was right. Hmph.
"Fine. When do you plan on leaving?"
"As soon as I get dressed, so pack our things up." You nodded your head as you both went separate ways. You quickly tossed in the few items on the floor, then threw your bag over your shoulder. You were still in your Gerudo outfit from yesterday, so didn't need to change. You caught sights of a large mirror and glanced around before stepping up to it. You looked yourself up and down before finally smiling with pleasure. You looked damn good at this moment.
"Hot," you heard Link call.
(Link's POV)
(Y/n)'s face lit up with red at hearing your compliment. You smiled at yourself, for you had achieved your goal of embarrassing her. You had to admit though, she DID actually look quite stunning. You found yourself staring a little too late, as (y/n) had already caught your eye. This caused her face to grow even more of an intense red.
"Your face looks like a tomato," your started before she cut you off.
"Okay, well, am I a tomato or am I sexy?" This made you chuckle.
"Well, you know, tomatoes can be sexy too. What, do you think tomatoes are ugly? Are you judging tomatoes by their looks, rather than their intense, deep and interesting personalities?"
"Oh, fuck off. Let's just go already." And with that, she marched out the door. You followed behind, leaving 20 rupees at the front table as a tip.

"Alrighty," you began, skipping up to her side. "let's begin! We can see Gerudo town from here, so it shouldn't be that far. Someone told me to use a 'sand seal' to get there quicker. Dunno what a sand seal looks like. Or if it's real. Woah that rhymed-" She cut you off at this.
"Ah! Sand seal, yes. I learned about them in books, even saw one once. Only because of a school field trip, though. But, I remember what they look like! I also remember they're extremely skittish, so ya gotta sneak up on them. Once you grab them, you tie your shield onto their tail and direct them where you wanna go. Ooh, I've always wanted to try this before! It's gonna be so fun ohmygosh." She was overjoyed, obviously, so you obliged. There was one last thing you wanted to do here, though.
"Wait here, I'll be right back."
Before she could reply, you jogged over to a spot that seemed vaguely familiar. You stood in the middle of it, taking in your surroundings. You then pulled out your shieka slate, flipping to images, then picking a photograph of this desert-y area. You stared, then began to remember.
((Not gonna type out the memory. If you played the game, you know what it was lol))
You snapped back to reality. You glanced at the photo over last time before returning to (y/n).
"Ready?" She asked.
"Ready."
