"Oh. Have a good afternoon everyone."
I get up and walk up to the teacher.
"Thank you for the class, ma'am," I say.
"Thank you for being so active, Kyle," she answers.
"It's really nothing," I say.
She nods.
"Your friend is waiting for you," she says.
I look at Butters from the corner of my eye.
"I have to go, ma'am," I say.
"Of course, Kyle," she says.
I wave at her before going over to Butters.
"Well... we have about 50 minutes," I say.
He nods.
"How is the student council?" I ask.
"People were pretty pissed that it's me, not you or someone else," Butters says.
"I mean, I refuse to do that. It'd take time from things that I like to do with my time. Why would I like to be a part of something I have been the leader of since fifth grade?" I ask.
"I don't know. To be honest, Wendy and Token are alright. The others just think I'm like an incredibly stupid dog, following because I have to. I mean, Wendy is an asshole as well, but if i give an idea, she at least listens to it," Butters says.
"That's stupid of them, to think you're dumb. You're not from the stupid side of the spectrum at all. I would argue you're really smart," I say.
"If my grades say something, I'm painfully aware," Butters says.
"There isn't only one type of intelligence. Think about Stan and Kenny. Stan isn't very book smart, but he is, if we talk about being street smart, really smart. Kenny is the same, but he is also intelligent because he learns languages so easily. Think about it, he is almost a translation," I say.

"I'm neither of those things," Butters says.
"I could argue that you're socially intelligent. As hard as it is to say, everyone is intelligent, even... you know who," I say.
"Voldemort was a smart man, especially in the books," Butters says.
"I meant Cartman," I say.
"You called him intelligent? Who are you and what have you done to Kyle Broflovski?" He asks.
"Oh no, I must be a robot then," I say, sarcastically.
"Yeah yeah, you were supposed to read your lines over, remember?" Butters asks.
"I thought about it. I know my lines, dancing is off," I say.
"Oh no. Please don't," Butters says.
"We are doing our own version and Bebe really badly wanted to have a song. She's surprisingly good. It couldn't go to waste!" I say.
"I'm guessing she's the snow queen?" Butters asks.
I nod.
"So we settled for mrs and mr Feckpaska writing a couple of songs. Obviously they made it so Cartman has as many songs as possible," I say.
"What character is he?" Butters asks.
"The crow. They made the crow have a bigger role just to fit 3 songs in," I say.
"Crow... I don't remember that part of the story," Butters says.
"Do you remember the old woman that tries to keep the girl from saving the boy? Well the crow is just after that. However, it's not in every version," I say.
"How did you fit 3 songs in?" Butters asks.
"Basically we just made him talk in songs," I say.
Butters snickers.
"Imagine that. Just always singing in real life," Butters says.
"I'd be pretty quiet. My voice doesn't hold a performance... although I wished it did," I say.

"Stan and Eric would just always be singing, everyone else would try their best not to. They've got the best voices here," Butters says.
"Wendy has a good voice. Craig's voice doesn't suck either," I say.
"True. To be honest, I would avoid singing at all costs, no matter, how good my voice is, if it is good in someone's opinion," Butters says.
"Your voice isn't the worst. I do hear it, you know," I say.
"I might stay at yours for half a week at a time, I'd be surprised, if you did not hear me sing at some point," Butters says.
"True. Mom is pissed though. She says Kenny and you just suddenly started coming. At the same time, she treats Stan like her third son. No, she treats him better than me and Ike," I say.
"Stan's likeable," Butters says.
"Not really more likeable than you, I understand that mom doesn't like Kenny sleeping over, she will check on us like two times an hour, if it's just the two of us, just to make sure we're not fucking," I say.
"Why would you do something with her in the house?" Butters asks.
"I don't know. Every time, Kenny tries to get me to make sex noises just to piss off mom, saying it'd be fun," I say.
"Why? Making Sheila angry seems like the opposite of fun," Butters says.
"Thank you, Leo," I say.
"Have we just established that Kenny calls me Butterfly, you call me Leo and Stan calls me whatever he decides to call me that day?" Butters asks.
"Yes, we have," I say.
"Cool," Butters says.
I hear my phone ring, looking at it.
"Who is it?" Butters asks.
"Nobody. I have game notifications on... apparently. I didn't know that," I say.
"That's weird," Butters says.
"Anyway. Wanna go see Stan and Kenny?" Butters asks.
"Are they outside today?" I ask.
"Yeah," Butters says.
"That's stupid, it'll probably start raining soon," I say.
"When does it not rain or snow over here?" Butters asks.
"That's all my Scottish friends talk about, the weather. They even say that exact sentence," I say.
"What can I say? I'm probably Scottish in heart," Butters says.
"Stan is already British in heart. I don't need more people from the same island," I say.
"The island isn't that small though," Butters says.
"It's small enough to be an island," I say.
"Very true. But it's still fairly full of people," Butters says.
"Yeah, that doesn't to anything about the size though," i say.
"We were about to see Stan and Kenny. Right?" Butters asks.
"Oh shit, yeah," I say.

Fantasy World
Spencer Underwood has little realistic hope of escaping his paraplegic, bullied, and friendless high school existence. At least until he and three classmates are unrealistically transported to Nibiru, a legendary fantasy world ruled by mythological gods and inhabited by strange races and nightmarish monsters. Spence can walk again, which is good considering he will have to use his online fantasy role-playing game experience to lead the dysfunctional party on the gods’ quest and summon the courage to finally stand up to Trey, his worst bully from school. Success means survival and earning respect and acceptance, especially from Morgan, his attractive but snarky Goth classmate. But Spence discovers Nibiru is more a world of science fiction than fantasy, and they are just unwitting pawns in a deadly scheme of the gods. If completing the quest doesn’t result in their return to Earth, the party may have to do the unthinkable and challenge the gods themselves. (The novel is complete at 56 chapters, so feel free to jump in without fear of it fizzling out in a premature demise.)

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
