You had fell asleep in the museum. Nobody really noticed that you had fallen asleep during the tour you were enjoying. They probably forgot, it always happened. You were inscribed with an Epithet, only one out of every five people had one. You were always told you were lucky but it didn't really feel lucky to you. Some would say like a flash of lightning, but they never stayed long enough to see. Honestly, no one would ever really notice that you were here. That you existed. You would always glow away and fade from their sight, practically transparent . You could also hide things for a certain amount of time with bubbles with an ability to move around and squeeze through small cracks like mist. And if you really wanted to, you could make something seem like a memory. There is also a different definition of it as electromagnetic waves, but you never really looked into it.
Now that you were awake, you realized where you were and a part of yourself was confused but then again- after you dug into your memories you knew exactly why you were in this predicament. You were inside of the belly of a tall dinosaur with a pretty long neck. The only reason you had woke up was because of someone pressing the button for the name for the dinosaur you were sleeping in. "Apatosaurus." Peeking at the world around you, you notice a movement in front of you talking about a lady Mera. A muscular dude with a work out regimen that screamed, 'I'll bench press you if I want too, but I won't cause I'm a literal cinnamon roll,' was right there, but as you looked around, your eyes locked with a tiny girl sitting next to a very tall dude wearing clothes that could only be described as a mustard jacket with ketchup hair. The dude was sitting on top of a bunch of unconscious bodies while behind a barrier.
The small bear hoodie girl motioned for you to come closer and so you faded from existence and appeared right behind here. "Bear Trap look! She teleported behind you." You weren't going to correct him as you slowly pulled out your phone. The dude was quick to snatch it. "Nope! We're not having you talk to the cops! We need your help- see look." He points to the cinnamon roll who was invested in this dinosaur exhibits. "He's a bad guy, and we need you to help us get out of here so that we can steal what they are trying to steal." You sigh, after all how were you supposed know of what happened. "How about you both trick him?" You could easily sneak them out but you were bored and wanted to have fun. They somehow managed to convince the dude to let them out and he didn't even notice that you were here. You follow them in your evanescent trail, always there but never truly.

~Timeskip brought to you by Sergeant Bear and Corporeal Other Bear 🐻🐼 (there's no polar bear emojis, don't shun me)~
In a new setting in the Arctic exhibit, you somehow grew attached to them in the spam of seconds that being specifically Molly. She reminded you of yourself, especially with how she handled things. But Giovanni on the other hand, he was someone who you looked up to. Sure he had his foolish faults, that's sort of who he was with his strange charms. Though he may seem and act, 'dumb,' he actually really cared for his boys. He cherished them dearly and did his best to motivate everyone around him. And that's what warmed yourself up to him. You guys were in some sort of exhibit with two bears, as Giovanni and Molly were knitting and sewing bandanas for them, you made an embroider patch for the Banzai Blasters, in honor of Giovanni's kind words. "Oh you! Come here the both of you- Bear Trap and Skull Crusher!" As he hugged you, you smiled softly. Right, he gave you an official Banzai Blaster name after you tried to escape from him. That was a tale of you just being a grouch and wanting to be left alone, so you tried to make him and Molly forget about you being here but instead you just gave him a killer headache, as if he didn't want to forget you.
But now you guys were all chummy. Even though he tried to fire you for calling him out for being "secretly nice." Molly was busy sewing as you and Giovanni were amidst a conversation while you were making a little design that he asked on his cape.
"So, why were you sleeping inside of the dino? Aw, you took how I wanted to be buried in my will." You just barely laughed, it sounded pretty much like a sniff. "I, uh don't cry Skull Crusher! It's-" You hush him with a wave of your hand, lifting the needle and thread with a pinched finger.
"It's fine, I wasn't sad. . . that was funny. We could just be buried together, underneath piles of Apatosaurus bones." Slight steam poured from his shoulders, kinda warm. "Y-yeah! And T-Rex's too, I heard that you could hear the ocean if you press your ear against it." You let out a laugh, covering your mouth with your freehand. "That's a conch shell Boss!" You both laugh, but when it died down there was a comfortable silence.
You being, yourself had to break it. You just felt like you couldn't just sit there, it kinda made you anxious. "I don't really think I could go out to sea." You winced once you said that, feeling a gut wretching feeling of agony. "Why's that Skull Crusher?" With a deep breath, you continued. "I mean, the ocean is so vast and lonely. Who would remember me if I like just- died at sea? I mean my Epithet is just like Forget but not as cool. I can't even use it right." Giovanni placed a warm hand on your shoulder, probably warm cause of his soupy blood.

"Skull Crusher, you shouldn't keep pushing yourself down like that. Your a good person, even if you don't really believe in yourself, me and Bear Trap are always here. We won't forget you! Your important, just as anyone else in the world. Maybe even more! Your special!" Molly practically hops up, a pinky raised as you finish an embroidery of a soup bowl at the end of his cape.
"Yeah we pinky promise!" She nudged Giovanni as you raised both of your pinkies so that you can promise both of them at the same time. It was fond times like these which made you wish that things could stay the same- at the very least a little while. The warmth of Giovanni's and Molly's pinky finger made you smile and flush in joy. "We'll be the strongest bad guys in the world!" You begin to correct him, saying that you guys would be the strongest team in the world, but before you could- a voice rips through the air.
"So I guess that makes you guys the Banzai Blasters then!" A teenage boy, appeared as he and Giovanni seem to barter back and forth on who was the kid when the boy raised his hand as golden dust falls down. Molly points out that she has seen the boy and he made her fall asleep earlier. You beging to bubble some of the dust, but only when Giovanni uses his special 13th move with a whirlwind of steam, blasting away the golden sleep dust. Out of nowhere, the boy summons a heard of sheep- at first they were really cute but then they began to nibble harshly. One even managed to almost bite off your finger. Giovanni whacked some out of existence with his Soul Crusher Bat, which was a fancy name for knife bat. Molly used her epithet to dumb it down to nothing and you also managed to cause another vanish into a evanescent bubble, but it wasn't enough. A sheep burst up and was going to crash into Molly's face but a surge of energy caused you to push her out of the way! Grogginess filled you but, Molly's grip on your hand kept you awake. Suddenly the boy used his Epithet to cause the room's middle tank to crack. Your eyes widen as you immediately rush over to try and stop water from trickling in when a whirlpool suddenly hits in and Giovanni and Molly end up on the top of the tank. "Dinophobia? That's new." You are swirling round and round, your lungs screaming as you thrash around in the water. You call out to them as Giovanni hands over his cloak to Molly and immediately dives in. A struggle and while later, he managed to grab your waist as he uses his soupy energy to burst you guys over to the top of the tank. Your salty tears mixed with the water as your shaking and grasping Molly's hand tightly. You grab Giovanni's hand and shakily stand up, scared. His warmth and Molly's wide green eyes are all you need to calm down as you breathe with the help of Giovanni trying to calm your fears with the bears.
The boy used them against you however, causing you and Molly to freak out. "He took the only thing I loved and turned it against me," She murmurs. After figuring out that this wasn't working, Molly and Giovanni combined their powers to whack a ball of yarn at the boy, with the magic number 13- he hits him across the face. You muster up the courage to use your Epithet to make the dream disappear in a wave of bubbles, the boy runs off- yelling about how he will return with an army.
Giovanni helps you and Molly off of the tank, it returning back to normal with the bears. "So uh. . . whirlpools huh?" He says awkwardly which didn't seem like him much at all. Molly was watching his reaction with you with tons of interest.
"Yeah, it's mostly the dizzy part and a little bit of being drowned." You said, rubbing the back of your neck, still wet from the encounter with the whirlpool. Giovanni uses his steam to dry you up, with one of his crooked smiles. "Well. . . I will do my best not to sweep you off your feet once I take you out. . . on a date?" His awkward fingerguns, flushed cheeks and crooked smile were all you need. That and Molly vigorously nodding with her thumbs up, the stars in her hair bopping with her.
"That's. . . actually, really sweet of you Giovanni. You did kind of save me so it's the least I could do." Giovanni spins in a circle and does a pose in the air, doing his best so that his cape doesn't whack him across the face. He high fives Molly and the pushed back his hair. "Uh- yeah! Anything for my min- Skull Crushing bubble!" That probably was the most of a compliment you were gonna get out of him on this state. Molly hugs your legs ad you lift her up on your shoulders. She leans down and whispers in your ear. "I'm rooting for you guys."
"Me too Molly, me too." You had said with a soft smile as you kiss Giovanni on the cheek as steam pours out of his ear and hair like a cartoon. This probably was all you could ask for, people to remember you in a light like this. Around people that you care for. This time your not gonna float away in a evanescent bubble. Your gonna be seen today.
Honestly, this story was such a ride! I really liked making this one, Giovanni honestly seems like a genuinely sweet guy who just happens to be a baddie. I only seen up to Episode 2, so that's why there isn't much of the fight with Dr. Sylvie Remember I take requests!

I'm still writing the entirety of Volume 2. WARNINGS:-Yes, this contains LitRPG elements after a slow start, promise.-This work is incredibly Slice-of-Life heavy-Also conversation heavy-Also plot heavy (But not in that way, unfortunately)-The pacing in terms of plot is slow -(Edit after a review)- This story is also known as: I honestly don't understand what's the difference between "light" and "dark" stories. I realized that far too late, so this story is... weird. It might be light at times, and dark at times, and in all honesty, definitely has dark undertones. Oh, and prepare to be disappointed or pleased by this story; I understand that this story is polarizing, at least. Cover made by: Fei (@Chippy03966650) / Twitter
