Zoey POV

Mike and I are a month away from graduation I am so freaking happy!No more Scott and being bullied at least that's what I thought until this happened at prom.

A girl pushed me against a locker and pressed a knife against my neck.

"Listen here if you dare think of taking my place as prom queen you got another thing coming!" My vision cleared up I saw it was Samantha Minkus.

"Get off me Minkus" I smirked and managed get my leg up far enough to kick her in her gut."Hope I didn't hurt the baby." I laughed.

"I'm not preggers you freak!" Samantha snarled.

"Sure gaining weight like you are." I still laughed and slipped into class.

Hours later at Prom...

I wore a long blue silky dress and my hair was in a bun with a couple braids inside of the bun.

"Samantha had me at knifes point today." I said and Mike freaked a little.

"What!?"

"Babe.It's cool that girl has it out for me ,but if I can get away from her with no damage I can handle her." I said as we walked into the gym.

"No way!We can do karaoke!" I said pulling Mike to the machine.

"I have a perfect song in mind too." Mike said with a smile.

"My song is Animal I Have Become." Mike laughed about my pick.

" I want to do Awake and Alive with you." Mike said.

"YAY!I sing third and we sing fifth." I smiled and bumped into Samantha as we walked away from the machine.

"Hey Dork and Dorkette." Sam said with a smirk.

"Oh.I'm sorry I can't see whoever said that past this mountain." Mike and I laughed as walked to the picture booth and we kissed in the photo.

"Want to dance?" I asked and a voice behind me said."Sure.Lets Rumble!"

I turned to see Sam standing there smirking.

"Dance battle?" Sam nodded and apparently alotta people heard me and moved out of the way.

She did a flip and landed with a moon walk.

I did a back flip,landed on my toes,spun in a few circles and flipped again and was caught by Mike.

I saw a puddle of water form around Sam's feet as she clutched her stomach.

"Are you still not pregnant or did you just pee in your dress." I laughed and a few people behind me yelled."Oooohhhh!Kill 'em!"

"Zoey you're no better than me.Look at whos arms are wrapped around you." I snarled.

"Woah!Don't go there with me!At least I can accept a person who is different apposed to making fun of them!" I smiled as I was called to go perform.

"I can't escape this hell.So many times I've tried!But I'm still caged inside! Somebody get me through this nightmare!I can't control myself!So what if you can see the darkest side of me!No one can change this animal I have become! Help me believe this isn't the real me! I walked off the stage and was instantly complimented on my voice.

"Time to announce prom king and queen!" The principal said on the microphone.

Mike squeezed my hand and I squeezed back.

"The prom king is...Mike Smith!" Mike smiled so big,when he crowned."Now the prom queen is...Zoey Brooks!" I ran up to the stage and was crowned.

I looked up when I heard a creaking noise.A bucket of something was about to dump on us.

I tackled Mike to the other side of the stage as some crap fell out of the bucket and onto the stage.

"Woah!Thanks Zoe!" Mike smiled and helped me up.

"Anytime.Lets get out of here and get our names off the karaoke machine schedule."

" Yeah I was going to do that anyways." Mike erased our names off the book and we went outside.

" Mike your car is covered in graffiti." I said.

"This condition screws up everything." Mike sighed.

"Hello what caused us to meet?" I smiled.

"My condition that I was being bullied for."

"What did I say to you when you were down in the dumps?"

"I love oddballs and was the cutest one you knew." Mike smiled a little. " Okay!My condition dosen't screw up everything!" He laughed.

"Lets get in the car and leave this place ok." I kissed Mike and we got in the car and left.
