I never asked for this, I never asked to be wedded to this mad man of a prince. I could hear the mocking whispers of the ladies in waiting and the noble court ladies of how they think I won the prince's favor by sleeping with him.

I never wanted his favor, I was happy just being a simple and easily forgettable maid in the palace. Earning my usual coin, Write books for the public on the side, and returning home to my lover, ex-fiance, Shoto. A quiet and Alouf boy, but kind and caring in his actions. A butler of the prince, at first clumsy at times. It was like this was the first time he had ever done work, but he got better with practice and patients. As we grew closer, more and more trials starting popping up. One day Prince Izuku demoted Shoto to the basic janitor and made me his personal maid. Yet that never stopped us.

The prince was nice and all, but he was never the same after his fiance and betrothed passed away of illness. One, many of the maids who work close to the prince had one or two similar features to his previous love. Two most of his other marriages were short-lived, and many of those unfortunate women all looked similar in looks to his first love. Once Izuku's honeymoon phase finally stops clouding his mind, he becomes disappointed and frustrated at how this new wife was not like "Her". And depending on him 2 of his other wives were beheaded, while the other was divorced. The prince is forever stuck in his delusions. Many co-workers and Shoto himself pointed out that that I looked strikingly similar to the princess.

Yet my stupid self didn't take those warnings seriously, I noticed the way the prince stared at me for a bit too long. How he was a bit more touchy with me than most. I tried to keep my distance from him. Yet he always used his powers in some way to pull me towards him.

Shoto and I were going to tie the knot when suddenly Izuku ordered "Our" marriage. A week before the wedding, Izuku ordered Y/n to cut all ties with Shoto, or he would do it personally.

As Y/n sat in her camber as Izuku slept in a heavy sleep, she could hear a faint sound calling out to her. Slowly she slipped out of the bed and made her way to the window, and at the bottom of the tower was Shoto. With a wagon and supplies, all packed away. He said he was about to head onto the boat, to head to a faraway kingdom, somewhere far away from Izuku.
