There will be two winners for each of the award categories*:
- 1 winning entry from each category. A panel of judges will pick the best story from each category.
- : 1 winning entry from each category. Winners will be selected based on the number of votes during the voting period.
Submissions for Wattpad India Awards 2020 will be accepted in the following categories:
From steamy rendezvous with a billionaire, to office love affairs and sequel-worthy soulmates, these adult Romance stories focus on adult characters and themes, with a modern real-world setting, all while showing us the highs and lows of falling in love.
Whether it's coping with loss, exploring gender, or dealing with a high school crush, the Young Adult stories are modern real-world stories that capture an authentic teen voice and the emotional stakes of growing up. New Adult stories on the other hand are about the modern ups and downs of work, life, and love in that golden moment between your late teens and twenties.
Whether it's a rhyme, a free-verse, haiku, or limerick, Poetry can be anything that evokes emotion, maybe one sentence at a time.
Whether it's a space opera set in a galaxy far away, a near-future dystopia, or an alternate history, the Science Fiction stories center around science and technology that challenge us to think big and different about the world we live in.
In this world, or another reality or universe, Fantasy and Adventure stories explore the magical and mythical unknown, ancient folklore, and mythical creatures.
Whether we're solving a crime, or racing against the clock to stop one from happening, the Mystery and Thriller stories include intricate plots, high stakes, and/or lots of suspense.
Whether it's about an evil undead clown, or a brilliant cannibal, the Horror stories bring all the thrills and chills. While the Paranormal stories explore creatures such as vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, ghosts and psychics who exist beyond the veil.

From international fandoms like Harry Potter and BTS and One Direction to the desi ones like Bollywood, Cricket, or TV Serials, the Fanfiction stories include fresh alternatives, rewrites, and divergent storylines for all our favorite characters or worlds.
The stories/poetry written in Tamil and Malayalam languages will be considered for this category.
*NOTE 1 - For Fanfiction and Regional Language categories, winners will be selected only by Popular choice format. For all other categories, winners will be selected by both, Judge's and Popular choice.
NOTE 2 - For all the categories other than Regional Language, you can submit stories/poetry in English and Hindi/Hinglish language only.

Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, they kidnap Tessa in the night and drag her along with them to reforge Tessa's first weakness: her self-confidence. (1st Arc Done) 7/7/2022: All past chapters have been condensed into 17. The story is slightly shorter than before and one chapter has been removed from the series as of current.
