《The Girl That Could | ✔|》Note Girl

Friday came, and the only thing Jessie could think about was what would note number five say. He had been patient all morning, but as the bell rang for lunch his nerves were through the roof. He opened his locker waiting for the letter to billow out and float to the floor but alas nothing came.
He checked his locker assuming that it was somewhere else but nothing. He had gotten his hopes up for what reason he wasn't sure he didn't even know what would happen at the end of this.
Makayla instantly knew something was wrong when he met her on the bench. No note in hand and an aura of betrayal surrounded him, she didn't bother confirming and instead ate her food quietly.
Like the beginning of the week, Jessie left her mid eating but without any words or acknowledgement of her presence even though they were heading to the same class.
The silence continued, and Jessie left his friend sad and confused to suffer over the weekend, knowing that they had gone back to their lives before this.
Jessie was still on the sofa downstairs, he convinced his mother he was fine over dinner. Answering her questions with the right amount of enthusiasm and nonchalantly to not raise any suspicions.
As she kissed him goodnight breathing in his fatherly scent before she retired to his room still unable to bear the thought of sharing a bed with herself and lost memories.
Jessie stayed up a bit longer surfing through channels, not in the least bit interested. Just as he was about to go to sleep his phone vibrated, he ignored it not in the mood to strike up a conversation with Makayla at this hour.
The phone continued vibrating up to the point where Jessie had to switch it off if he wanted to sleep. Severeal message was displayed on his screen all from an unknown number.

Now Jessie had seen his fair share of human trafficking movies to know not to meet anyone alone in the dead of night, and at this moment in time Jessie had become content with not knowing what became of his correspondence with this 'note girl.'
A small knock on the sliding door leading out to the garden caused Jessie to jump. There a figure standing waving excitedly at him.
The figure feeling the vibration pulled out her phone and looked at the message from the hunch of her shoulders she was disappointed.
Despite having seen many films of similar scenarios, the ache in his heart and the pain in his soul compelled him to let the stranger in.
She stepped in, wiping her feet off on the mat. She handed him a note similar to the ones he had been receiving.
She was dressed in all black and now looking at her Jessie was sure she'd come and steal from him or perhaps lure several large men to his house.
Jessie sat on the sofa and note girl followed, she took out another note.
"So you're some sort of angel?"
Note girl flicked through her array of notes for the appropriate response.
In normal circumstances, Jessie wouldn't have gone and left a stranger sitting on his sofa. However, in normal circumstances, he wouldn't have let her in the first place. So in unnormal circumstance, Jessie went to get as she requested.
With a glass in hand, he sat back down.
Note girl took his hand in one hand and the glass in the other. Covered in a black ski mask and rose goggles he had no idea what she was thinking.
However, there was not much time to think as the strangest thing occurred. That ache, the pain that rested on his heart was dulling. The weight on his shoulders was lifting, and therein Note girl's other hand, a seed had formed in water. The roots grew from the bottom while the stem rose from the top.

It was like nature was on steroids the process of a flower blooming sped up in a matter of seconds all the while Jessie began to feel tired, relaxed to be exact his brain wasn't so wracked with weighing emotions his body was able to function normally.
As the purple flower reached its peak of blooming, Jessie found himself slumped on the sofa, and the last thing he saw was the empty glass.
