Amane stands on the rooftop, looking uninterested. He sighs.
"I was hoping that I made myself clear. This goes for No. 3 and No. 4 as well.
He then smiles.
"I don't intend to let you all leave this place. You must be thick-headed."
...
"HE..." Mitsuba, Kou and Nene both shout at the same time in awe,
"HE'S REALLY HERE!"
"E-Eh?" Amane, Mei and I all sweat-drop.
"So we meet, Hanako-kun! I didn't think you would show yourself!"
"I'll get you for sure this time, Hanako!"
"D-DON'T COME NEAR ME! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"
They all ramble on.
Amane seems to be quite famous.
"One at a time, if you don't mind..."
Yashiro makes her grand speech, getting us ready to follow the plan.
"OKAY, FOLLOW THE PLAN, GUYS!"
"Roger, senpai!"
"Kay!"
"You got it!" I send her a thumbs up.
"HERE I COME, HANAKO!" Kou readies his exorcism staff, then bursting out a mass amount of power. Lightning strikes the tower, shaking it violently.
"YOU SEE THAT? THIS IS THE REAL STRENGTH OF MY WEAPON! JUST 'CAUSE YOU SEALED IT OFF IN THE REAL WORLD, DOESN'T MEAN WE CAN'T REMOVE IT IN THIS FAKE ONE!"
Yet, you still don't know how to control it in the real world...
While I wear this cloak, anti-spirit items won't hurt me."
Amane slashes his knife at Kou, as if he has a killing intent.
"For real? Then-" Kou's words get cut off.
No. 7 breaks through Kou's weapon with ease.
"GIVE ME BACK MY FAMILY'S RELIC!"
"No way~!"
"STOP RIGHT THERE!"
Mei?
Shijima Mei walks confidently towards the two. "While in this drawing, the fake world belongs to me, it's also my territory, and my 'shrine'. Please control your Haku-Joudai, No. 7."
His hand gets burnt from the staff as Mei draws in her sketchbook.
"With this, you're unable to use Haku-Joudai."
"...No. 4..."
-------------------------------------------
I just have to wait.
If anything goes wrong, I'm the secret weapon against him.
Kou and Amane have been fighting for a while now, and the clouds are getting thicker.
"You won't be able to move soon, right, Boy?"
Even Hanako seems to be at his limit. Mei's power must be working.

"So this is your limit even with No. 4's power... Then how...
You need to think through it more."
Kou freezes.
"Everyone keeps talking about how they can save her, or how they won't give up. That sort of thing. I don't mind it... But...
He smiles, letting go of Kou.
"Amane..." I whisper, but I doubt he can hear me.
"See, the moon's nearly covered. You're out of time, it seems."
What he didn't notice is that Yashiro and Mitsuba both went to get a form of transportation while we were distracting him with fighting.
Mitsuba's apparition power flings us into the train, including Amane, rather uncomfortably. I land face first.
"Alright! You're all in! Now full speed ahead! Yashiro Nene, here I go!"
"Gee, thanks for the safe landing..." I whisper to myself.
"To the moon, LET'S GO!"
...
"Why is she using a rear car...?" Shijima deadpans.
"Haha... How come it's flying...?" Mitsuba sweat-drops.
"A rear car that flies...?" I question.
Kou looks at his senpai in awe. "As expected, senpai! You're so cool!"
"I said... I wanted a pumpkin carriage... But I couldn't convey the image well." Yashiro huffs, having to pedal all 5 people in the rear car.
"Do you wanna switch?" Kou asks.
"I-It's okay.. If I don't pedal, we'll fall...
-------------------------------------------
"We're almost to the exit! Hanako-"
"You've done a good job of coming all this way, but I really can't let you go any further than this."
Amane steps on the connector, making the bicycle and the cart separate. Yashiro, only getting more angry at him, pushes him off the car.
But for some reason, she grabs onto him.
"Amane! Yashiro-san!" I scream as they plummet into the clouds. I look at the other 3 still sitting in the car.
"I'll go get them. Meet you back at the exit!"
"I- Alright! We'll see you there!" Kou shouts at me. I give him a thumbs up.
I jump out of the moving car and fall into the clouds.
...
The impact hurts my head, but I manage to keep my vision.
"(Y-Y/N)?!"
I grasp my head and look up.
Yashiro was in the middle of giving Amane a big scolding it seems...
"Amane... Yashiro..."
"A-Anyway! Jistatsu-san, back me up on how annoying Hanako-kun is, please!"

I blink. What's going on?
"Uh... Sure... Let's see..." I look at Amane, who is staring at me. I start putting my fingers up and count. "You're loud, you're annoying, you're a complete jerk, you never stop talking, you're selfish, you only think for yourself, you-"
"Alright, I get it, I get it!" He nervously smiles, looking at Yashiro. "But, your life is-"
"ARGH! SO WHAT IF I'M NOT GONNA LIFE MUCH LONGER?"
I've never seen her so fierce before. She's just pouring it all out now.
"I...I was going to plant new veggies next year! And when I finish all my studies, I'd go on to become a stunning college student! I wanna to become an adult and go out to drink! I want to wear a snow white wedding dress when I get married!
I don't want to stay here forever!
I WANT TO LIVE MY LIFE AS BEST AS I CAN!"
...
"Not for my sake, but tell me what you want to do. Do you just want to stay here and never leave this place?!"
"T-THAT'S NOT IT!" Amane's hat falls off as he grabs onto Yashiro's shoulders.
"It's not like... I want you to stay here..."
"You're the same as us, without a future. Me, who's only here to atone for my sins... And (Y/N), who's stuck here, with the memories she can't even erase...!"
"Yashiro... You're... Idealistic, easy to mess with... Kinda clumsy, with super fat ankles.
We all knew about your lifespan from the very start. I mean, we're dead, after all.
I never cared who died...
Really, I didn't...
I didn't...
I thought that I didn't.
"Amane..."
He's starting to tear up now.
I can't help but think in this situation...
What's so special about Yashiro Nene?
What's so special about her... That he wants to abandon his family?
I brush the thought away.
"Hey, guys, take a look. The moon's real close up here." I say. I can't explain why, but I start to cry.
My sobs echo through the night sky.
I'm such a crybaby, aren't I?
When I hadn't realised, Amane started rubbing his hand on my back, as if saying, "It's ok."
He probably doesn't know, but it comforts me. A lot.
"Y'know... earlier..." Yashiro quietly starts talking, "Sensei told me that when humanity first made it to the moon, everyone started to think...
What is she trying to say...?
"How about..." Yashiro grabs one of our hands each. "We all just go together... To the moon...!"
"...What...?"
"Jisatsu-san... We can be together, letting go of the past... Build a new life! And...
I want to keep living, in the real world! Next year, the year after... for the next 90 years!"
She leans closer to us.
"Dear Hanako-san, Hanako-san...
Then she starts humming Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star off-tune.
"Jisatsu-san... I wonder... If we can all stay together happily, forever... To my grave?"
We stare at her.
"Erm... Is that no good?"
"Yashiro..."
"Y'know... It's hard for me to say no when you ask like that... It can't be helped...
For a second there, he looked just like the old Amane, all those years ago.
"And my answer... To your first question...
"H-Hanako-kun! Jisatsu-san!"
"Now, Yashiro, close your eyes.
"H-Huh?" I exclaim as Yashiro obeys. "A-Amane-!?"
He leans closer to her, and...
"BAMM!" Amane lets go of Yashiro, making her plummet to her death.
"H-HUHH?! A-AAHH!"
I wave her goodbye as she falls.
"Say, Amane... You and Yashiro...?"
He smiles back at me. "Not telling~!"
We both laugh together, for the first time in 50 years.
...
I watch as my brother sends our friends to the moon. He looks up and begins to speak.
"Sorry, Yashiro... But we won't be going to the moon.
I'm not able to fulfill my wish from when I was alive, now that I'm dead. But... You want to live for another ninety years? Isn't that a bit selfish?
Fine... I'll grant your wish. I'll prove to you that I can.
"And Yashiro... I'll prove to you my answer is true."
Yashiro and everyone else fall towards the moon.
We both wave at them from afar with a smile.
-------------------------------------------
Apparently, Yashiro has taken off No. 4's Yorishiro, along with the fake world.
And with that...
The fake world of fabrication comes to a close.
All of us were back and our lives in the real world went on.
Hanako-kun, Mitsuba-kun and I go back to our supernatural selves.
Yashiro's lifespan... still seems to be short...
But this is her world. This is the place where she want to keep living, so we have to do our best.

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?
