Daylight fades, and shade becomes eternal
A city scape accents the landscape with light
The roar of the river echoes off the canyon
Peace and tranquillity, these emotions abound
The familiar scent of pine trees
The crisp mountain air at my back
A meteorite pierces the heavens
Stillness is all that is on my mind
A gasp of a startled onlooker wafts into my ear
