soovin had been at the school for 2 months now and she quickly got along with everyone and stayed friends with the three; despite sunghoon protesting it but they all ignored him

jake and soovin were always busy with student council and for some reason they were more busier than usual so sunghoon and yuna didn't see them as often anymore

it became a daily thing at that point

it took yuna about 2 weeks for her to forgive jake after the whole track incident; which was just 2 weeks of jake apologizing over and over again while yuna was being stubborn and just kept leaving him and not talking to him

she only forgave him when he got on knees to ask for her forgiveness and she got embarrassed of what he was doing so she quickly forgave him since she knew eventually she would forgive him

"yuyu!" sunghoon spoke excitedly as he rushed over to her at the lunch table where she waiting for him and the other two

"sunghoon" she replied, a grin on her face as he sat down across from her

"so two things!" he held up two fingers

"yes sunghoon i can count"

he rolled his eyes, putting his hand down, "okay so 1st things first. your birthday is soon!! i'm so excited for your party!"

"i thought we agreed no party" yuna chuckled as she picked up her chopsticks and grabbed a piece of vegetable off her tray and eating it

"it's your eighteen birthday come on!" sunghoon complained like a child, "i did not get excited for your 18th birthday just for you not to be excited for it. i'm throwing you a party and that's final"

"okay but can it be simple? i don't want a lot of people there" yuna gave in and sunghoon nodded

"don't worry, i'll just invite your closest friends and your family" sunghoon then got an idea and leaned in, "can i invite heeseung?"

yuna choked on her drink and looked at him, "cute heeseung?"

"well i guess he's cute but" sunghoon stopped and laughed, "i mean you guys are close right? he's been tutoring you so.."

"sure..but if i become a mess at my own party because of him then i blame you"

"i'll take it" sunghoon smiled, "hmm..jake, soovin, you track team..okay im going to figure this out on my own time and talk with your parents about it"

"so what's the 2nd thing?"

"well since we are on the topic of heeseung" he began making yuna freeze, "he's throwing a party for his 19th birthday and don't tell him i told you this.." he leaned in and she did as well, "but he said he was too shy to invite you himself so he asked me to do it" he leaned back and grinned, "but of course you didn't hear that from me"

"are you going?" she asked, leaning back and he nodded

"my whole group is going. we can not miss out on his 19th birthday"

"i haven't seen them in awhile" she chuckled, "it'll be nice to see jay and sunoo again"

"so..do you want to go?" yuna nodded, "great i'll tell him. i'm sure he'll be excited"

"i have tutoring with him afterschool so i'll tell him that i'm going"

"okay"

"you've gotten better at math these past 2 months" heeseung complimented her, putting his textbook back in his backpack, "maybe next year you'll be in advanced placement..or maybe you can be switched to an advanced placement class this year"

"don't kick my ego" yuna chuckled as she closed her textbook, "oh! sunghoon told me about your party"

"oh, are you coming?" he asked and she nodded, "great! uhm just a warning, there's probably going to be alcohol there so just be cautious, i know you're not of age yet. the only not of age people coming is basically my whole friend group. the rest will be my senior friends who are..of age"

"oh.." yuna awkwardly chuckled, getting kinda nervous about it

"don't feel pressured to drink alcohol!" he quickly waved his hands, "i'll make sure the 3rd years don't bother you to drink. unless you feel uncomfortable suddenly then you don't have to come or you can just come for a few-"

"heeseung" yuna cut him off since he was rambling and he apologized, "it's okay, i'll be fine. sunghoon wouldn't let me drink anyways"

"okay cool" he smiled nervously as he grabbed his bag and stood up from the table, "do you want me to walk you home?"

before yuna could respond, her phone buzzed. she looked at the notification from the phone on the table

heeseung saw the message and chuckled, "he always offers. cute"

yuna put her phone away in her pocket and put her bag over her shoulder, standing up as well, "let's go?" heeseung nodded and the two left

"..seen?" jake bit his lip but quickly shook it off, assuming something else. he put his phone away in his pocket and looked at soovin who stood in front of him

"want to get going?" she asked and he nodded.

the two began walking side by side, their arms brushing against each other and both becoming shy because of it.

"so.." soovin started a conversation, "how's soccer going?"

"good..though soccer season is coming up so i'll probably be more busy than i am already" he answered

"you're still in the afterschool tutoring right?"

jake shook his head, "i got out of it finally so im free afterschool now..well sometimes" soovin chuckled

the two continued to talk as they walked until they finally reached soovin's house

soovin stood at the entrance and soovin looked at jake. she looked at him for a few seconds before reaching her hand up to his hair, fixing it, "your hair was kinda messy" she chuckled and took her hand back

jake cleared his throat, turning a light shade pink because of what she just did

"i'll see you tomor-"

"go on a date with me" jake spoke suddenly, cutting her off which caught her off guard

soovin looked at him in shock, "w-what?"

"..will you go on a date with me soovin?"
