yuna laid on her bed, resting against the headboard as she read her book. she stopped reading when she got a notification on her phone
she set her book down and looked at her phone
'shimjake has posted after awhile'
she furrowed her eyebrows at what he could've posted then it hit her, "today's his date with soovin.."
yuna bit her lip as she debated on checking the post or not. she didn't know getting over feelings was going to be so hard.
despite this, she swiped on the notification, put her fingerprint in and saw the post
yuna took in a deep breath and just turned off her phone, "you're happy for them yuna..you're happy for them" she repeated to herself with her eyes closed
yuna kept going through this cycle where she was convinced she was losing feelings for the boy but the moment she saw soovin and him together, her feelings came crashing on her all again.
yuna grabbed her phone quickly and dialed sunghoon's number.
the boy picked up after a few rings, "hey, what's up yuna-" he saw a tear fall from yuna's eyes and immediately was concerned, "why are you crying?!"
"why am i crying over this?" she spoke, letting out a bitter laugh, "out of all things to cry about i choose to cry over the fact that jake and soovin are going out"
sunghoon sighed and sat up straight in his bed, adjusting himself, "you saw the post didn't you?"
she nodded sadly, "i always think im losing the feelings but the moment i see them together, they all come back onto me. i hate it"
"yuna it's apart of the process. it may hurt for a little but eventually it will go away little by little okay? it's okay to cry over it"
"but it's so stupid" she wiped the falling tears with her sleeves, "i shouldn't be crying over this"
"and it's okay that you're crying" he responded, "you're not going to get over jake in just a few weeks after liking him for almost 10 years. it will take time and you'll get there, okay? " yuna just nodded again, sniffling afterwards, hating the fact that she even was crying, "hmm.." sunghoon began, "oh! i have an idea. go get ready yuna"

"huh? where are we-"
"no questions! just get ready and i'll be at your house in 10"
♡
"so what are we doing?" the three were currently in the park, sitting at a bench when it was 8 at night
yes, the three.
sunghoon invited niki along for some odd reason and the boy agreed, wanting to do something
"i heard this works" the boy placed the plastic bag on the table and proceeded to take 3 white glass plates out of the bag and handed it to the two and also handed them a black sharpie, "write down whatever is bothering you and hurting you. then we'll put them into plastic bags and throw them on the floor to break it"
niki and yuna looked at each other weirdly but decided to just trust sunghoon, "i heard it works okay? i don't know, i saw a video on it"
the two just shrugged and three began writing on the plates whatever was bothering them at the moment; each of the three having their own problems but sunghoon did this mainly for yuna
after about 10 minutes of writing all over the plate, the three finished and began putting their plates in the plastic bags and zipped it tightly so no pieces come out when they broke it
they each took their bag and stood up from the bench. sunghoon led the way over to the empty street and had niki and yuna follow him. currently there were no cars so they were going to take the chance
"sunghoon you go first" yuna suggested and stood back on the sidewalk with niki
sunghoon looked both ways before walking onto the street. he stood in the middle of the streets and made sure no cars were coming before he looked up and threw the bag in the air pretty high. it quickly came back onto the floor, breaking into multiple pieces inside the bag, "wow that felt oddly satisfying"
the two chuckled before niki walked out next and stood beside sunghoon. he looked up and did the same exact thing as sunghoon, throwing it into the air and it falling back onto the floor, shattering it into pieces
"wow that was satisfying" niki and sunghoon laughed as they grabbed their bags with the broken plates and went back to the sidewalk where yuna was.

"your turn" sunghoon smiled at yuna.
the girl nodded and walked out to the street and looked both ways, making sure no cars were anywhere.
she took in a breath and looked at the plate. she then looked up at the sky before tossing it into the air. it took a few seconds for it to fall back onto the floor in front of her, shattering. she looked at the broken words and let out a smile, looking over at the boys, "that did feel refreshing"
the two boys chuckled as yuna bent down to grab the bag.
suddenly lights were seen in front of yuna which blinded her so she couldn't see and she placed her arm in front of her eyes
"yah! yuna!" the two boys shouted.
niki thought quickly and ran onto the street, grabbing yuna's arm and pulling her off of the road, taking her back to the sidewalk
yuna held onto niki as the car passed by but didn't stop and just kept going
sunghoon immediately walked over to the two, "are you okay??"
yuna nodded as she looked at niki, "thank you"
he was going to respond but she smacked his arm instead. niki released yuna from his grasp and he held onto his arm in pain, "what was that for?! i just saved your life!"
"don't ever save my life again! you could've been hurt! i don't want you hurt" she pointed her finger at him as she scolded him
"well i didn't want you hurt either!" he shouted back at her
sunghoon rolled his eyes before wrapping his arms around the two, "i'm glad both of you are safe. no one died so shut up both of you"
after the whole altercation, the three grabbed their items and threw them away in the trashcan and began walking home
yuna was in the middle between the two taller boys; but not taller by much since she was tall herself
"thank you sunghoon" yuna spoke, putting her hands in the pocket of her jacket, "and thanks riki for coming"
"of course" the two responded, a smile on their faces
"we'll always be here for you" niki spoke and yuna smiled
"do you feel a little bit better at least?" sunghoon asked, "i hope you do. you didn't almost get hit with a car for you to feel bad"
she chuckled and nodded, "it got my mind off of it definitely. still a little hurt but it'll take time like you said. won't be easy getting over someone i've liked for almost 10 years. and now that i say i've liked him for 10 years, i realize how ridiculous this crush is"
sunghoon and niki just laughed in response. niki spoke afterwards, "i mean..you have heeseung don't you? maybe he'll help you get over jake?"
"he's just a friend and he helps me with tutoring" she responded. riki and sunghoon gave each other a smirk and just agreed with yuna even though they believed something different
"you guys are annoying" she rolled her eyes before linking her arms with both them, "now, let's go home and eat because i'm hungry"
"did your dad make food?" sunghoon asked, eyes lighting up with excitement
"both my mom and dad made food"
"aight! let's get going! no time to waste!" sunghoon exclaimed, walking even faster causing both yuna and niki to laugh
♡
jake and soovin were walking home, hand in hand after their date. both of them were laughing and smiling, they had a great time.
jake dropped soovin off but and she stood by the entrance of her house. before she went in she looked at him, "thank you for today jake. i had a great time"
he nodded, a small grin on his face, "i had a great time too"
"now" she crossed her arms, "yuna helped you with this date, didn't she?"
he coughed awkwardly, looking everywhere but her, rubbing his neck. she chuckled before wrapping her arms around his neck, hugging him, "it was great anyways"
jake smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist, his heart pounding against his chest.
soovin pulled away with a smile on her face, "i should go inside" he nodded, patting her head
"i'll see you tomorrow"
soovin nodded before she opened the door and entered her house, closing the door afterwards
jake held a hand against his chest, "geez.."
despite his heart feeling so flustered, something was off and he could feel it but he didn't know what it was.

Ravyn's Nights - Book 2
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through 5 centuries of endless nights. Book 2 covers the 18th century. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
