《Cheat List || Taekook》Chapter 24

Slowly Taehyung began to open his eyes as he was waking up. The boy slowly peeked through his eyes only to be met with a dark room. A small ray of light was peeking through the gap between the black curtains and it allowed Taehyung to slowly take in his surroundings.
The singer was currently laying in a big king size bed which definitely wasn't his. A drawer and a couch could be spotted on the left side of the room and on the right were two doors which probably led to other rooms.
Taehyung streched out his arms before he slowly began to sit up in the bed, only to notice the duvet being pulled away from him a bit. Slowly the grey haired boy turned his head to his left only to see the familiar face of his best friend, who was still sleeping.
A small smile began to form onto Taehyung's face as he took in the features of Jimin. The boy's lips were slightly parted and a bit of drool was leaking on his pillow. Soft breaths of air left his mouth every once in a while and his blonde locks had fallen into his face.
Taehyung reached over to tuck the strands of hair behind Jimin's ear before he began to get up from the big bed he had been sleeping in. Slowly the grey haired boy began to remember the eventfull night he had had last night and a soft blush spread on his cheeks at the thought of Jungkook finding out that he was the only person on his cheat list.
However there was absolutely nothing Taehyung could do to make the younger boy forget about his list and thus he softly shook his head to get rid of his thoughts before he began to make his way to the attached bathroom.
As soon as the boy entered the bathroom he quickly took a shower and freshed himself up a bit before finishing his morning routine and walking back into the bedroom he and Jimin had shared. The blonde boy was still fast asleep and Taehyung laughed softly before he walked over towards the door which would lead him towards the hall.
Jimin definitely had drunk way more than Taehyung last night and thus the blonde boy would probably wake up with a huge hangover. Taehyung himself had only had three glasses of wine and thus he was completely fine right now, something he thanked himself for a lot.
As soon as Taehyung had walked out of the bedroom he had been in the boy immediately recognised where he exactly was. The guest room was situated pretty close to the front door of Jungkook's apartment.

Soon a delicious smell began to fill Taehyung's nostrills and he immediately began to follow wherever his nose was bringing him, only to end up right in front of the kitchen. The grey haired boy followed his nose and walked inside only to be met with the broad back of none other than Jungkook himself.
The muscles on the younger's back flexed as he flipped the omelette he was making and Taehyung looked at the brunette with a mesmerised look on his face. The food Jungkook was making didn't only smell good, it looked absolutely mouth watering too and thus Taehyung began to wonder, was there anything the idol couldn't do? He was just good at every single thing he did.
Taehyung softly shook his head and forcefully tore his gaze away from Jungkook's toned back before he swallowed hard. The other was well built and staring at the boy without Jungkook himself realising it would be pretty rude. Besides, Taehyung had a boyfriend.
"Good morning." The grey haired boy decided to announce his presence and immediately the other turned around while a big smile was plastered on his face. Jungkook's brown locks were messily tangled and sleep was clearly still present on his face. The boy couldn't have been awake for too long.
"Ohh good morning Tae." Jungkook answered his guest in a cheerfull tone while he send a wink in the older boy's direction. "You're up pretty early, it's only nine." The idol continued as he turned himself around again and flipped the omelette in his pan skillfully.
Taehyung looked at the way Jungkook continued cooking with a sparkle in his eyes before a small chuckle left his mouth. "You're one to talk you know. You were up earlier than me." The grey haired boy spoke as he walked over to the dinnertable and sat down on one of the grey chairs. Jungkook was without a doubt a skilled cook and at this point Taehyung had begun to wonder if there was anything the younger couldn't do.
"Well this is my apartment you know. I have to take good care of my guests." Jungkook answered, his back turned to Taehyung as he filled the omelette in his pan once more. A soft sizzeling sound entered Taehyung's ears as the eggs hit the pan again before silence began to fill the space between both boys.
Last night had been fun, there was no denying that and even though Jungkook had found out about the grey haired boy's cheatlist it had been totally fine. The younger had reacted quite chill about the whole matter and if Taehyung had seen it correct he had even seen a bit of happiness on the brunette's face.

"Wait a minute, how the hell did I end up in your bed?" Taehyung then blurted out, only realising what he had said the moment it was too late already. A deep red blush began to decorate the older boy's face and a feeling of shame began to completely fill his insides.
Jungkook however began to laugh loudly and the younger turned around amused, a playfull look visible on his face. "I carried you to my guest room last night since you were completely passed out." The idol spoke while putting the eggs on a plate and walking over to where Taehyung was sitting, only to stop walking when he was standing right behind the other boy.
"But if you insinst then I'll make sure you do sleep in my bed next time." The younger whispered in a seductive tone as he lowered his body a bit and softly grabbed Taehyung's shoulder. The older inhaled sharply while his face turned even more red than before.
Jungkook however slowly began to increase the distance between them, giving the older room to breath again before he continued their conversation. "Don't think either Yoongi or Jimin would mind by the way. They were quite close last night." The brunette remarked before he walked over to the plate with eggs again and began to separate them into four parts.
Upon hearing that last sentence Taehyung softly started to laugh before he slightly shook his head. He had no idea about Yoongi since he didn't know the mint haired rapper that well but he definitely knew that his best friend wouldn't mind sharing a bed with his crush. After all Jimin was head over heels for Yoongi, the blonde would definitely not mind spending time with the one he liked the most.
As Taehyung was about to answer Jungkook his phone suddenly started to ring pretty loudly. A confused look began to form onto the grey haired boy's face before he began to fish out the device from his jeans. He had absolutely no idea who would call him this early in the morning apart from Jimin and since the blonde was still fast asleep it definitely wasn't him.
Taehyung's eyes grew big the moment he took out his phone from his jeans pocket and saw the familiar name of his boyfriend light up. Without thinking twice Taehyung picked up the phone while trying to sound as normal as possible. He definitely did not want to anger Bogum. "Hi Bogummie."
"Where the hell are you?" Bogum immediately answered, a hint of concern and anger lacing the older boy's voice. Taehyung immedately gulped visibly before his eyes began to dart around the room he was sitting in. Saying that he had spend the night at Jungkook's place would definitely anger the ravenette even more and thus there was no way in hell that Taehyung would answer truthfully.
"I'm at Jimin's place. I fell asleep last night, sorry." The grey haired boy lied while secretly praying that Bogum would buy it. Taehyung himself absolutely hated lying but he knew damn well that sometimes it needed to happen. Why anger Bogum and ruin his own day if a small lie would keep the both of them happy?
"Okay good. I will be home late today, have fun okay?" Bogum then answered in a much more friendly tone than before. Taehyung quickly said his goodbye to his boyfriend before he ended the call and sighed softly out of relief. He got away pretty easily this time but he knew damn well that if Bogum had found out he would have had a big fat problem. Lucky him.
However much time to breath wasn't something that was given to Taehyung because soon he felt two strong arms wrap themselves around his middle from behind before the beautiful voice of Jungkook entered his ears. "You know you shouldn't have to lie just to keep your annoying boyfriend happy." The younger whispered in a low tone before he pressed one of his thumbs softly in Taehyung's skin and began to trace circles on his belly.
"Let him be jealous. He should be jealous of how good we look together." Jungkook then whispered before he released Taehyung from the hug again and announced that he was going to wake the other two boys since the omelette was getting cold.
Meanwhile Taehyung's heart was doing sommersaults inside his chest. The boy's breathing had become irregular and butterflies were roaming through his stomach. Jungkook did everything he had to do to make Taehyung fall for him and the grey haired boy had absolutely no idea what he needed to do to stop his feelings.

Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
