Deep breaths. That's all Taehyung was taking right now. The sound of Yoongi's voice was almost completely shut out by Taehyung due to his nerves almost overtaking him completely. Ohh how he had looked forward to this moment yet couldn't help but be scared at the same time.

Currently the grey haired boy was backstage, waiting for his turn to go on the stage. Yoongi and one of his contestants were performing a duet at the moment and next up would be Jungkook and Taehyung. The song the brunette had chosen for the both of them to sing was hauntingly beautiful and did little to nothing to hide their feelings for each other. On one side that made Taehyung feel very happy since his boyfriend wasn't afraid to show him to the world, however on the other hand this song was a risk. The whole management of the voice thought that the two of them had broken up and singing a song like the one they were supposed to sing would definitely reveal their true feelings for each other. After all, it was a love song.

"Thank you Yoongi and Seungmin!" Hoseok spoke as soon as the duet had ended. "Remember folks at home, today it is coaches pick so no voting! The fate of all the contestants is completely into their coach's hands!" The host of the show spoke before he continued. "Next up we have Taehyung and Jungkook."

Upon hearing his name Taehyung took a deep breath before he walked up the stage. The bright lights of the stage once again managed to temporarily blind Taehyung yet he acted unfazed and quickly made his way over to where Hoseok was standing, trying to look as confident as possible. The last thing he wanted was to make a fool out of himself on national television.

Hoseok smiled brightly as he flirted with the camera a bit while Jungkook also got up from his red chair and made his way over to the host. "Are you both ready?" Hoseok asked as soon as both boys were standing directly in front of him and immediately Jungkook nodded confidently while locking eyes with Taehyung. "As ready as I can be."

Taehyung quickly agreed and Hoseok smiled brightly at both boys before he wished them luck and made his way off the stage again. Jungkook smiled lovingly at Taehyung while walking over towards one of the microphones while Taehyung walked over towards the other. This was it, they were gonna finally do a duet. Half a year ago this all had seemed impossible for the grey haired boy, yet here he was. Not only was he going to sing a duet with Jungkook, he could also proudly call him his boyfriend. Ohh how the tables had turned

The lights of the stage dimmed slightly and smoke began to fill up the whole stage while small lights in the back lighted up, making it look like Taehyung and Jungkook were standing underneath a sky filled with stars. It didn't take long before the first note of the song began to play, it's sweet melody filling up Taehyung's ear. The grey haired boy took one last breath before he looked over at Jungkook and sang the first line of the song

The grey haired boy sang as he only focussed on his boyfriend's face. The brunette was looking at Taehyung with a loving look on his face and a small smile playing at his lips.

Slowly all the nerves started to leave Taehyung's body as he became less and less aware of the audience and camera's that were all watching him. The only one the grey haired boy saw was Jungkook. The brunette was looking handsome as always, his brown locks messily done and the dimmed light of the stage reflecting perfectly on his honey like skin.

Every single line Taehyung sang left his lips as if it was nothing. As if not only millions of people at home were watching him. All worry left the the grey haired boy's mind as he focussed on the one that truly mattered. The brunette who was smiling back at him with the sparkles that were reflecting in his eyes. Jungkook was the only one that mattered.

Before Taehyung realised it he had sung the first half of the song completely, leaving it up to his coach to enchant the audience with his beautiful voice. Jungkook grabbed the microphone in his hand confidently before he smiled at Taehyung and began to sing

The first two lines of Jungkook's verse left the brunette's lips as if it was nothing. His amazing voice sounded as beautiful as always and the amount of confidence he had while singing surely made Taehyung admire his boyfriend even more. Ohh how he hoped to one day be just as confident on the stage as Jungkook

The brunette continued singing with passion and he stared at his boyfriend the whole time. Every single word that left his lips were meant for Taehyung only and Jungkook didn't care at all that millions of people were watching them. Taehyung was his and everyone should know that. The brunette was done hiding.

With these last two lines leaving Jungkook's lips the brunette softly began to walk over towards his boyfriend and grabbed one of his hands. It was time that the whole world knew about the two of them. Taehyung first looked a bit shocked about Jungkook intertwining their fingers together but soon he managed to relax and began to sing the next part of the song together with Jungkook.

The only thing Taehyung saw as those words left his mouth was Jungkook. The brunette looked ever so handsome, his eyes only focussed on Taehyung and their fingers intertwined together. Jungkook made Taehyung feel like he was on top of the world and the grey haired boy slowly began to let go of all the worries that has been consuming him. The only thing that mattered right now was them.

As the last words of the song left both their mouths Jungkook smiled lovingly at Taehyung, a proud look on his face. He was so proud of the older for being able to let go of everything that had been bothering him. The grey haired boy held Jungkook's heart and thus as Taehyung locked gazes with him again the brunette didn't think twice and just moved forward until his soft lips met the other's plumb ones.

Taehyung's eyes grew wide upon feeling Jungkook's lips on his own. This was without a doubt the last thing he had expected right now. Immediately the grey haired boy's heart began to race in his chest and he felt himself become stiff.

Jungkook however slowly circled his arms around the other's petite body, making sure to rub the older's back softly in order for him to relax. Taehyung's muscles soon managed to get out of their tense state and he slowly closed his eyes as he let himself get completely caught up in the moment between him and Jungkook. Right now neither of them cared who was watching as they only cared for their other half. They were in love and there was just no way they'd hide that any longer.

At first, complete silence took over the room. As Jungkook kissed Taehyung no one knew what was happening or how to react to the situation. No one, except Min Yoongi. A smirk grew onto the mint haired rapper's face and he slowly stood up from the big red chair in which he had been sitting while starting to clap his hands together. The rest of the audience soon followed and before everyone knew it loud cheers and clapping surrounded to couple of lovers on the stage.

After a moment Jungkook softly detached his lips from Taehyung's again. The grey haired boy's cheeks were colored a crimson red yet a small smile was playing at his lips. They had done the right thing. Taehyung could never be working underneath someone who wouldn't allow him to date Jungkook and thus the brunette had decided to go out with a banger. "So much for keeping us a secret huh?"

Jungkook smiled at that but softly shook his head. "We're not gonna hide Tae. I simply can't. I'm too in love with you to not show the world how happy you make me." The brunette spoke before he raised one of his hands and softly brushed the tips of his fingers over the other's cheek.

It was right there at that moment that Taehyung felt completely at peace with everything. He didn't care about the competition one bit anymore. He only cared about his boyfriend and their relationship. Their kiss had meant the end of Taehyung's still none existent career yet he knew damn well that it had been the right choice.
