《The Irregular At The Merthyr Academy Of Magic》The Student Tomoya Torazo!

[So, what am I supposed to do now?]
While he sigh softly in his heart, Grey stared at the blue cleared sky shrouded with little Spring mist.
He had come early in the morning, as he was completely unwilling to stay in his previous hotel. But now he was at a loss, worrying about what to do for almost an hour until the entrance ceremony began.
“This side is probably the Outcasts Division.”
The school uses the fountain square as a dividing point, left and right were respectively split into Outcasts Division and Magic Apprentice Division.
Heading to the Outcasts Division on the left side, brick-constructed buildings were lined up around. Although it was still early, you could still see the figure of students scattered around everywhere walking & chatting all along.
Entering the campus of the Merthyr Academy, the originally bleak-looking campus was very astounding. With the main building, a practicum building, the student's dormitory, and a laboratory building.
There was an auditorium & gymnasium whose inner layout was mechanically alterable.
There was a library building for the students, with two smaller gymnasiums as an alternate.
There was a preparation building used for changing rooms, showers, storage, and club rooms for academic presence.
The dining hall/cafeteria / vending machine area was in another building, and there were various other structures both large and small filling the Merthyr Academy plot of land—it looked more like any small city campus than any Magic High School.
After ten to fifteen minutes of walking around comparing what he saw Grey found a courtyard. It was behind the trees lining the path, which were positioned far enough apart not to obstruct the view of the entrance ceremony hall.
Sitting in his place and comparing what he had seen Grey passed his time reading some online news that was showing on his smartphone.

“Hey, Are you also a new student? It’s soon to be an opening time.”
He was contemplating his own though as he was shutting up his smartphone. But as he was about to get up from the bench, a male's voice came down to his ears.
A bulky guy directly comes into his view in a straight line.
It was a guy that was cleanly dressed with short hair. He was wearing the same male uniform as him. With the latest model of stunning wireless headphones hanging over his neck. Looking same age as him, he was looking at Grey with smiley eyes.
“Thank you, I'll head right over there.” Facing him, shutting off his smartphone Grey stood up and looked at him.
“So, you are not much of a talker then, I see?” But the boy apparently didn't share the same opinion as him. He was smiling, as he looked forward to befriending Grey.
“What type of Magic can you able to use?” he asked without further ado.
When Grey stood up from the bench, he was only a few centimeters away from him. He was 175 centimeters tall, and the boy was also the same height as him with a bulging built and muscular body. He was at the perfect eye level to verify that he was also the same Outcasts student similar of him. But there was absolutely no condescension in his eyes only a pure, even honorable, admiration gazing in his eyes.
“Why are you carrying, the Headphones with you!” Grey whispered as looking at his loose-hanging Headphone on his shoulders.
“Ohh, This... This is my amplifier that helps me when I use my sound magic.”
“As I use the sound medium as a magic, it helps me to use this magic freely, with amplified frequency.”Looking at his headphone with, personally modified gear he touch the rounded button that was at the corner of his headphone.

“You see, I called it magic, but it was only an innate ability of mine than any supernatural power. Frankly speaking, I can only able to use it for a minimal amount of time, and because of that, I was really sensitive to any magic vibrations in my surroundings. As I could sense their vibration through the sound, and hear them clearly!”
Sound Magic was also top-class magic that could help his user with greater things. Although, then to call it sound magic it was called a 'Vibration Pulveriser' as it creates a vibration in the surrounding that could even tear their opponent's bodies. If you concentrate it only on a single place with the high amplified sound frequency it could even tear apart a solid steel plate even the hardest Red Critic Diamond.
Although its power was astounding, the user also pays a hefty price if he couldn't able to control his strength. And to use it with its full potential there was still a need for some scientific-technical equipment as to not heart himself with his own magic.
Looking at him dumbfounded, Grey couldn't able to converse further with him, as he was talking about his magic at an abundant pace.
“Ohh, I still forgot to introduce myself, I'm Tomoya Torazo 1st new year student & level 1 Outcast Magician in Merthyr Academy.” He said as he looked at Grey with a smiley face.
Grey looked at him vividly.
Tomoya had a vanquishing air around him that any students who had just entered high school couldn’t help but misunderstand him as an upperclassman.
And yet, after hearing him introduce himself, he found himself wanting to frown.
The ability of magicians varied wildly based on genetic disposition.
The family you’re from was also deeply important in this aspect when it came to your merit as being a magician. And in this City, it was customary for the big families that possess exceptional blood for the magic to have a high status.
The bloodline was the lineages of magicians who had a superior genetic predisposition, and the Torazo family, with the versatile magicians, was one of the best in Lunar City currently considered to be the most powerful magicians family. And this boy, who most likely was also a part of the direct bloodline.
In other words, he was a powerful person. It might not be a stretch to say that he was incorrectly entered in Outcasts magician's side.
Grey suppressed his bitter thoughts at that, somehow managing a friendly smile as he introduced himself.
“Ahem. My name is Grey.”
“Grey..? No, Surname?” He widened his eyes in surprise. Then he nodded somewhat meaningfully after looking at Grey somewhat silent.

Zoe Blanco moved to New York after fleeing the small town she grew up in and the Purity Church that controls it. The Church believes in keeping humanity pure. This means none of the NanoPCs known as Frames or any other cybernetics that most of the rest of the world uses and enjoys everyday. Upon arriving in the Big Apple, Zoe is picked up by her cousin and witnesses a courier weaving their motorcycle through traffic. Zoe envies the courier's freedom. Couriers transport data and on occasion small objects for anyone willing to pay the price. Secured delivery is guaranteed and no questions are asked. Like having a human servant in this corporate owned world, using couriers is seen as a status symbol for the wealthy and corporate elite. New York's criminal underground uses couriers for similar reasons. This gives the hundreds of couriers in NYC steady work. After weeks of not finding a job while living with her aunt and cousin, Zoe turns to her slicing skills to steal credits from the Purity Church and turns to the mob so she can get a loan to pay for the internal secure storage space a courier needs and a frame for herself. After making an unlicensed run or two, Zoe finds employment with a transport company and truly starts her life as a courier. This story is a mix of light scifi, cyberpunk, slice of life, a dash of action, and a smidge of fantasy. Slicing is what hacking is called in this story. Credits are currency in this story.
