Original Length: 1011 words.
Post Revision Length: 1028 words.
“LET ME GO! I’M NOT GOING THROUGH THE QUEUE! IT’S MY RIGHT TO REQUEST BEING SENT TO Prison! LET ME GO, I SAID!”
I never said I was a rational person.
I do like to read a lot, and I might give off the impression that I’m some sort of a refined intellectual—even though my mother once said no one had ever thought that nor referred to me as one, and I was the only person labeling myself as a ‘refined intellectual.’
Well, back to the present problem, I’m trying to shout, flail my arms around, and run away from my doomed fate. I could have been facing a Dragon, and I would have simply died in a few seconds, charred, had I not picked up the damn heavy book that was still with me.
Many guards are looking at me with an amused look while Lucillus and Antoninus are literally dragging me, with my legs gone limp, toward the room where I’m supposed to have the interview.
“Can’t we throw him away for a while?” Antoninus grumbles.
“Sure, and you tell Captain Drusillus we are taking up space in a cell because an idiot doesn’t want to speak to a clerk. I so want to spend my next two weeks on the graveyard shift on the walls.”
A woman Elf, the first I see up close, comes out from the room, storming and shouting at the two guards.
“What’s all this ruckus?! I was taking notes on my studies, and I almost broke my pen because of this commotion!”
Antoninus and Lucillus hoist me up, already wincing since they expect me to scream again. But now, all the talk has gone out of me.
The woman I have in front of me is not just a younger Elf than the two guards, but she is most definitely my future wife. She has shoulder-length hair, a bit tomboyish, eyes so green and deep I think I just ended up in the Amazon Forest.

“Haha!” I kickstart my legs once again and pat the astonished Antoninus and Lucillus on the shoulders, freeing myself from their grasp.
“We were jesting, miss, my deepest apologies. Antoninus and Lucillus were just a bit down, and I was trying to cheer them up. It wasn’t my intention to disrupt your important work,” I give her the most shameless smile in my life.
The two tall guards by my sides have nothing to say because what just came out of my mouth was so absurd that they are still catching up with reality. The woman eyes me with a bit of suspicion, but then she wrinkles her beautiful nose and gestures toward the door.
“You are here for a mage-conducted interview, right?”
“I most certainly am,” I say with the broadest smile a person can muster.
I put the spell-book that I had been holding to my chest under my armpit again, and I follow her into the room, winking toward the two wide-eyed guards and closing the door right behind me.
…
“I am Officer Lucinda,” my future wife says, “and I will conduct this interview under a truth stone with you.”
She whips out what looked like the medieval version of a legal pad.
“First and last name, please.”
“Joey Luciani, single, not married,” I state candidly.
The truth stone, a simple gem on the center of the table, shines a bright green.
“Didn’t ask that last part,” she replies while not taking her eyes off the pad and only glancing once at the stone.
Once she has my identity down, she continues.
“Mr. Luciani, what’s your order of business here?”
“I… found myself without a penny under unknown circumstances, and I would like to find a job as a baker in the city to pay for accommodation and food. Maybe even buy a book or two if they are not too expensive.”

The stone flashes green once again, and she jots down what I just said with mechanical precision. She doesn’t just have the accuracy of a machine, though, but also the coldness.
“Mr. Luciani—”
“Please, call me Joey,” I smile.
“Mr. Luciani, so is [Baker] your main class?”
“I have no classes.”
The stone flashes green, but she doesn’t write on the pad this time.
“No classes?”
“Yep,” I nod while pointing toward the truth stone flashing green.
“How old are you?” she asks me with a frown.
“Well, officer Lucinda, it kind of depends on how old you are and if you date younger men,” I return the question with a smile.
See, I have every problem in the world with approaching a girl without a pretext. I’m not good at cold approaches. But once you say even just ‘hello,’ well, we start dancing, baby.
“It is in your interest to know that I can declare you not just unfit to receive a city approval to work here, but I could also flag you as a dangerous individual.”
The truth stone flashes green.
Oh, it goes both ways.
That’s interesting.
“I would rather go to prison than have to go through all the forms for the city,” I say with a bright smile, “but I’m happy I got the most beautiful Officer in the city with me, so beautiful I could even go through a library card registration process if you were my library clerk.”
Green, green and green.
Not a lying bone in this body, Officer Lucinda.
She narrows her eyes, clearly not happy that a human weirdo was trying to hit on her. But as I always told my mom, dating is like game theory.
And that was pretty much it. I have no idea how game theory works, but neither does my mom.
Officer Lucinda bends to fish something from her loose robe and slowly rests a stick – oh, that’s a magic wand! – on the table.
“I am entitled to use force in case the subject has any intention of harassing me in any way.”
Green.
Oh boy.
“I wouldn’t mind you using force on me, Officer Lucinda,” I flash a wink at her.
And the other thing that flashes is…
Green, baby.

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.

Love, Napalm & Homicidal Fairies
When Nasilain started traveling between worlds, she hadn’t expected to get caught by a police officer. Nasilain: Traveling between worlds always filled Nasilain with dread. All those men with their friendly smiles and hundreds of questions. What was the last movie she watched? What music did she like? What country was she from? If Nasilain could use magic in this world, she would’ve blocked the flow of calcium ions in their jaw muscles just to shut them up. The scientific knowledge she could find on the internet using the free Wi-Fi in one of the local coffee shops forced her to tolerate the occasional interrogation. But even hipsters were better than Seth, the beefy police officer that caught her teleporting. Apparently, she wasn’t allowed to lie to him, which was fine as long as he didn’t ask about the clone. Seth: Seth had seen his share of bad luck. On normal days, it manifested as a shoulder injury that got him discharged from his SEAL team or wounding a civilian while on the police force. But landing in a parallel dimension with elves in neon green pants, a cute mad scientist with magical abilities, and swarms of carnivorous fairies? That was a first. At least Nasilain promised not to use her magic to split atoms. Content warning: This book DOES NOT contain zombie fairies. Everything else is fair game though.

THE MAN WHO FOUGHT GOD
From the boy who was blessed by God, to the man who fought God. This is the legend of Joseph The Giant, and The Great Wolf Of White. This legend can only tell you of the fight, who won or lost if for you to decide. If you can stand to read my writing, consider checking out my main story "Perception(Time is Relative)" I have learned a lot from writing that story and hope I can use it to improve this one.

The Plan
An infinite world couldn’t be real, but if it was, well this would happen. Imagine a world that isn’t covered in water, but an endless atmosphere. Plates of land, named “islands”, float and drift almost aimlessly. There is no sun, stars, roof, or floor; just boundless air in every direction. Light is generated from the movement of air flow. Magical and mystical powers keep islands floating and the world full of fresh entropy. Some of these floating islands drift upwards or downwards or any combination of volatile or patterned velocities. Air flow also follows the same characteristics of islands, which generates the light and heat. In a world with no horizon, the different inhabitants struggle. Beings calling them selves deities across the endless space are countless. If you were to fall off an island, you would inevitably hit another island; if you didn’t die from old age first. Many inhabitants don’t know the land further than their own eye sight or town they grew up in. Almost all inhabitants of islands have supernatural abilities, ranging in ability and skill. Magical abilities are kept individually; and mystical powers are borrowed. Islands float because the land is enchanted by either a magical or mystical crystal. Magical islands are known for vertical variance, while mystical islands are known for vertical stability. The islands rotate around focal points, known as 'the center'. There are many 'the center', but no one knows this yet... Warning: Tagged Mature 18+ for Strong Language, Gore, Violence, and sexual scenes. Google Drive (Click here to open new window) WIP/spoilers
