My dear Samorn,
I hope all is well with you at the Academy. I know you are excelling in your classes and your duties, but I do hope you have made some true friends there as well.
I am saddened to write this letter to you, but the worst has befallen Duwadi. As much as we wished and prayed for her to recover from the malaise that kept her awake but unresponsive, she passed shortly after you departed for the Academy. I know you blame yourself for what happened to her and Aawut, but please do not do so.
Your father and I should have known how hard it would be to resist impressing a visiting dignitary of his status, for we felt the same way with his family. We should have paid more attention during our trip through the fields and have known you would want to show him the woods you felt so at peace within.
I worry for you child. I know you are no longer ‘the Cloud’ as we called you in your carefree youth, for you became so driven after that traumatic event, but I fear that you no longer open up to others or let them into your life. Young Cyren has said nothing to us, but I saw his concern in the way he looked at you before you both departed. If anything, please at least let him know and help you through these difficult times.
Please write to us, your father and I (and yes, even your older siblings) miss you dearly.
Love,
Your Parents and Family

Beta Test
I'm sure I'm in for some colorful criticism, But if even a few people enjoy this, I'd be happy. As of right now the story is set in Delaware around 2005'ish'. A young man from the streets, aquires a beta test invitation in an unorthodox way. The plan is to have a comical adventure in an experimental virtual reality game. I can easily transition it to a full story if its well received. If not I hope atleast one person kinda likes it. P.s. This is a work of fiction, with made up characters. Any likeness is coincidence.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. If you're looking for another fun, action-packed adventure, check out Cultivator vs. System by yours truly, available on Kindle, KU, and Audible. But read Good Guy Necromancer first.
