Serenity’s been away from Earth figuring out how to survive the changes he’s gone through while his friends back on Earth have been dealing with the problems there. Now that he’s back, what’s changed? Why is there a “Settlement” with his name on it, apparently established by Echo?

Two people came to Earth with Serenity. Both are looking for a place to settle down, though that means vastly different things for them. Earth is a place of wide open possibilities for them - but also unexpected dangers.

On top of that, Katya somehow ended up at the Serenity Settlement instead of staying with the person. The people there seem friendly enough, but it’s much smaller than what Serenity described - is it really large enough to support her entire extended family of craftspeople?
