《F Ranked: World Domination with the Weakest System》The First Day in Agriche

The site of our course was close to the Green Wolves dormitory up in the north, so it didn't take long for me to find my way back. I reprimanded the system for its distasteful inputs and the dormitory came in sight in no time.
My gaze traveled to my back to see a bruno walking behind me, his straight hair fell to all sides of his head and covered the tip of his glasses. "This kid's in my class, right?" He was the one with Anna and Reina and was also there during the Ent subjugation.
{Yes, is he? I don't remember at all!}
Useless system.
The bespectacled boy caught me looking at him and waved at me, dropping one of his four luggage bags. I thought for a few seconds and decided to wait for him. He fumbled around with his bags and caught up to me soon.
"Hey! Ralph, right?"
"Yes. You're... Odis?"
"Right, Odis Lobregat," Odis gave me an awkward smile and said. "You're in the Green Wolves Dormitory too?"
"Oh, you too?" I extended my hand at him, he looked around for a few seconds before awkwardly handing me one of his bags.
"Yeah, it's nice to have a classmate in the same dorm!" He placed his hand on his chest and sighed in relief. "By the way, where's your stuff?"
"I came by early and dropped it in the dorms."
We passed by the yard with Odis gawking at the statuettes. I opened the door and walked inside, Odis following right behind. Sitting on the sofas were three other students built like a tank, the three alone took up twice the space with all their muscles. Their heads snapped toward the door and an extremely friendly smile whipped up on their face.
"Freshiess!"
"Yay! Freshers are here!!"
"Hello," I smiled and waved. "We'll be in your care," I said. Odis was a little surprised but nodded after adjusting his glasses.

The senior's smiles widened even more at my high-energy greeting. They lept off their seats and walked over. "We'll help ya move in, you're the second one's so you can check the rooms on the first floor before picking," the last of the three said. One of them patted Odis' shoulders and the other took up his bags. "Someone already came and registered first. Come, we'll show you the empty room."
Odis couldn't say much and walked behind the seniors. I stretched my arm and looked around.
"You aren't coming?" the buzz-cut big muscle senior asked me while long hair big muscle senior nodded.
"Ah, no, I already took a room," I said, waving my hand. "I'll go for a quick coffee I guess."
"That's nice!" the spikey hair big muscle senior said with a giggle. "You've made yourself quick at home!"
My head tilted to the side. "It is my home now, want a cup any of you?"
"""We just had our protein shake!"""
The seniors laughed and took off with Odis. Yawning, I went through the passageway that opened and looked at the four rooms it lead to. A wide dining hall, a pantry, a store-room, and lastly a giant kitchen.
I walked into the kitchen, there was a drip coffee machine on the shelves laid against the green walls. I set up the machine and poured some milk and coffee powder into it, not long after it filled with coffee. I made too much.
Taking out a cup and a tray from the crockery unit, the coffee made a nice froth as it was poured into the cup. With the tray in hand, an extra cup, and the pot on it, I made my way back to the lobby at the entrance and sat down on the two-seating tables.
The dorm was, quite cozy. Not extravagant and not cramped, it made me feel rather at ease.

"Hm..."
The coffee tasted good. With nothing else to do, I opened up my watch and checked the messaging app, there were no messages so I closed the app. Then I opened another app, and then closed it and opened the messaging app again. What the hell? This thing is strangely addictive!
I sighed and closed the watch's interface, taking another sip of the coffee. Soon enough, Odis came back down the stairs and into the lobby.
"Picked a room?" I asked without turning to look at him.
"Yeah, they said I should go to the reception... but there's no one here."
"Ah, the reception is self-service."
Odis placed his hands on the reception desk and nodded. "I see, self-service." He went inside the reception and opened the book. "What in the world is a self-service reception!?"
I shrugged and shifted back to my coffee. Odis' exasperated sigh entered my ears as he turned back to the book and put his name up for the room he had chosen.
"The seniors didn't come down?"
"They said they'll take my stuff in."
"How helpful, we lucked out with the seniors."
"Definit—AUGH!"
A blood-curdling scream spread into the room. I dropped my coffee cup with a thud and jumped off my chair. Odis was leaning over the desk with a hand on his chest.
"Hey! What happened?" I rushed toward him, but before I could reach he pushed himself back up and showed me the reception book.
"Ralph... you registered first, right?"
"Y-yeah?"
"Then, did you see this?" Odis' fingers flipped the page and revealed a new list of names.
{OOOOH!!}
"The Green Wolves girl's dormitory is right behind this one!"
{The Green Wolves girl's dormitory is right behind this one!}
"Huh... and?" I asked, completely bewildered at the conversation.
Odis slammed his hands on my shoulders and chuckled.
"My friend, the spring of our youth is right by the horizon."
.
.
.
Not much happened after that.
The other students came in, not everyone was in the awakener course but we shared similar ranks. The day passed with everyone trying to settle into their rooms. Odis nearly blew his lid at me when he saw the girls from the backside of the building in the shared dining hall.
At the end of the day, I dropped a message on mom's contact. I was doing well, I liked the place. I would do fine.
The lights in my room weren't turned on even once that day, and soon, the sun's light was whisked away as well.
***
The veil of darkness covered the entirety of Agriche Academy. The street lights were too far away, so only the dim stars could illuminate the shadowy figure atop a building. A blue projection in front of it that none could see.
{You're in here now, what next? How will this place serve your goals?}
The shadowy figure swept its gaze over the entirety of Agriche Academy. A place so beautiful, a magical land. "The knowledge and resources here are unrivaled. They are exactly what I need. The Ent that day, was stronger than what I could handle alone. The strength I couldn't cultivate on my own, it lies here..."
{I see...}
"It's not just strength, my dear useless system. Influence, power, opportunity. Everything I need is here, it has gone as far as to drop itself in the palm of my hands...
A tremor is going to spread through the world soon, and it will start here."

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
