It was a normal day. I woke up, did my business in the bathroom, and got dressed. My commute was simple, go to the train station and get off at the next stop. Between my apartment and the train station is a stop for coffee and a donut. No big deal. Same every day. Today would be the last time I ever thought that. While at the intersection between me and my great steel conveyance, I heard the squealing of brakes. Not uncommon in the city but much closer than I’d like. A quick swivel of the head as I step into the cross walk revealed to me the glorious power of TRUCK KUN come to take my life and whisk my soul away to another dimension. Not today you stupid anime troupe. I summon all my pathetic desk jockey strength and attempt a forward dive that results in my right foot being clipped by said worn out contrivance spinning me around. When I hit the ground and realize I’m still alive I rejoice. Unfortunately, the other pedestrians are screaming at me for some reason. Son of a bitch, TRAIN KUN you bastard. Fade to black.
