《Nostalgic Gamer in a Cultivation World》Chapter 140: Teleporting To Martsirt

“Say again?” Chad and Jaden were stunned at Dyne’s orders. Amorien and Ishreth fainted, but Dyne told them not to do anything.
“Don’t wake them up! Help me undress them now.”
Chad and Jaden’s expression turned uglier by the second as Dyne approached the two and was slowly loosening their clothes.
“Jaden, I think we need to add a few wounds on their bodies… I can use the blood from these men, but we need to make some real wounds. Oh… on second thought, we can make it look like the wounds are in their armor and robes and just cut these parts.” Dyne began to work.
“What? What are we doing?” Jaden asked again.
“What else? Make a disguise for using the secret passage! What do you think happens when we teleport? Won’t the people working for Lazarus see it and make whatever reports?” Dyne asked.
“He’s right!” Chad realized it.
“But if the Commander of this side appears with them and urges everyone to help us, they’d probably move and help us without question,” Dyne explained.
“I see! Of course!” Jaden slapped his face as he thought Dyne was being perverted.
“Since you guys have high recovery rates, try to wound yourself to make it real. The fact that these girls fainted makes it look even more real! We have to hurry!” Dyne ordered and made the necessary preparations.
After completing his disguise and adding a few finishing touches that made the girls and the guys look more wounded, Dyne walked towards the commander.
“Hey, Jedo… Can you do Hell’s Music?” Dyne asked.
“The attack that Nightos make? My power is different compared to the way dark energy works in Nightos. But at my level, I think I can create something similar, but it will require physical contact to the target.” Jedo answered.
“Just harness enough dark energy and let me channel it.”
Dyne approached the bounded commander.
The bounded commander had awoken just in time to see Dyne raise the dead. When he saw Dyne walk closer towards him made him feel great fear. Dyne approached with a smile and suddenly made a powerful kick.
The kick sent the commander flipping upwards and landed with his belly facing the sky.
Dyne’s fist came crashing down.
SMASH!
Hell’s Music was a power that Nightos had, which created a strange sound that could kill, confuse or do nothing when used on an enemy. But Dyne harnessed this energy to do something. It was to send dark energy into the person and try to attack the soul.

The fist sunk deep into the commander's stomach, and the dark energy erupted from within.
The commander felt fear penetrate deep his heart.
“You’ve seen my power. I can bring out the darkness and summon the undead. You’ve also seen that I am a master of a Reaper. Will you make it difficult for me? Or will you follow my plan?”
“I submit! I submit!” the commander cried.
“Good. That darkness in you is something that can kill you unless I remove it in two days.” Dyne smiled.
“If you betray me or my friends, no one, not even the Archbishop himself, can get that out of you!” Dyne laughed.
The commander could feel strange energy creeping into his body. There was a strange pain that began to pulse out of his body.
He saw a vision of the same creature that he saw earlier. But now, he gazed at it in horror. The skull body and bat-like wings flew closer and reached down.
Suddenly, the commander felt a strange tugging sensation.
“This is your soul I am holding. Unless you want to be undead like your former subordinates, obey me without question!!” Dyne ordered.
“Yes, master!” The commander trembled in fear. He believed Dyne had the power to play with his soul.
While Dyne wasn’t able to actually put a curse on this soldier’s soul, the vision he saw raised the undead made the commander believe every word that Dyne stated. And since the vision of Jedo appeared, this made it even more believable. And Dyne also created a strange pulling sensation by using his soul-gathering technique to ‘move’ the commander’s soul. With such staggering evidence supporting Dyne’s claims, the commander immediately submitted. He was not afraid of death. As a knight, he was trained for such things.
But what the commander feared was torture that his soul would suffer from if this Dyne were to steal his soul. He did not want to become an undead.
“Send us across the other side and follow us. The wounds in your body will make it look like you fought. Tell them that an emergency development has occurred…” Dyne began to explain the plan.
Chad and Jaden listened b the side and began to understand the plan.
“Let’s go!” Dyne ordered.
The commander was still limping from his wounds, but he moved swiftly and led the group towards a long winding staircase.

Soon the group reached a dark chamber, and a strange stone platform stood at the end. It had a strange blue and white pedestal that had an orb at the center.
“Master Dyne. The thing is, we need Ishreth to activate the magic.” Jaden stated as he pointed on a strange pedestal with the orb.
“If it’s magic, I should be able to do it.” Dyne smiled. He had Jedo, who was a time and space Ra-Seru.
The group stood around the pedestal with the commander accompanying them.
Dyne observed the pedestal.
“Strafe. Any idea how this works?”
“Just channel Brimstone energy from your soul. It will use that energy to travel. You can try Jedo’s energy too.” Strafe answered.
Dyne did so and decided to use Jedo’s magic.
At that moment, Dyne stopped, and a strange expression appeared on his face.
“Erm… Which of the three places do we go to?” Dyne asked.
“Three places?”
“Yeah. When I used it, it showed three different places.”
“Master Dyne… This teleportation pad only leads to one!” Jaden answered.
“Nope. It’s definitely three.” Dyne pondered and tried to observe the workings of the pedestal with his soul.
Soon, Dyne removed Jedo’s influence and used Brimstone. At that moment, Dyne felt that the options of where to teleport decreased to one.
“Hrm? I guess it allows me to have more freedom if I am a Time and Space Cultivator. Jedo, let’s harness it together.” Dyne ordered.
Jedo complied.
Dyne channeled the energy to observe it.
“I see… There are more destinations…” Dyne thought.
“What do you mean?” Chad asked.
“Depending on your mastery of Time and Space, you can teleport to different locations. I was able to find three with the help of Jedo, but when both of us channeled our two elements, it felt like I could make a path to go to others. Brimstone clears the blockages, and Jedo can send me in! Interesting.”
“What do we do?” Chad asked again.
“We stick to the mission. We will come back here to explore this place again.” Dyne answered and channeled the power to bring them to the place where Dyne could sense it was the nearest.
The room flashed, and the group disappeared.
On the outskirts of Martsirt, a deep mine had a small army guarding it. Several soldiers were stationed as monsters were said to have been found inside the cave itself.
This was, of course, a lie. The mine was protected because it held a secret chamber that allowed teleportation.
The pedestal flashed at one point, and Dyne and his group appeared.
Dyne stumbled down as if pretending to be wounded.
The commander immediately did as planned.
“Guards! Help!” He shouted.
The nearby soldiers were already stunned at the sudden teleportation.
The commander stepped forth.
“We were attacked! A new teleportation chamber was discovered! Quick, bring this boy and these soldiers and heal them! I have to go back! Do not let anyone teleport to the other side! We found a new teleportation chamber! That boy is not from this continent but from Legaia!” The commander shouted.
The guards immediately moved.
“I was tasked by archbishop Lazarus to protect the boy! For now, allow no one to move to the other side! If any of King Ciroel’s men move, tell them that the pedestal is damaged!” The commander spoke.
“As you command!” The soldiers moved and immediately approached to carry the fallen Ishreth and Amorien.
The soldiers noticed that the two women had strange smiles on their faces.
“Carry them! Hurry! Bring them to the High Priest Zarrudo! This is the Archbishop’s orders!” The commander stated.
As the group moved, other soldiers began to carry the commander as he had terrifying wounds.
Suddenly, another group of wizards was approaching.
“Sir Landen?” One of the wizards recognized the commander.
“What happened? Why are you…?” The Wizard approached as he noticed the wounds that Dyne inflicted on him.
Jaden and Chad were avoiding this man's gaze. They recognized him all too well. He was one of the Wizards that served the enemy! Yudders of the Serpentari.
“The Talisman of Alert that the Archbishop gave us had been destroyed. What happened on the other side? Have they succeeded with the mission?”
The commander called Landen was quivering. He didn’t know what to say. This wasn’t in the plans that Dyne had stated!
“They... They...” Landen hesitated.

The Girl Named Rino
Oh. Hello. I didn't see you come in. No, don't worry. I don't need to hear your name. I already know what it is. I also knew that you'd come up at around this time. But, at the same time, I also didn't know. It's very hard to put into words - but that's what happens when you become the Chaos God. Your psyche gets messed up, big time. That's even more so for me, who was already warped enough to confuse reality with imagination - and, even make the rest of the universe believe that it was so. But, enough about me. Let's talk about you. You seem to come from a very far away land. It's faint, but your presence is there - in a relatively primitive planet. No wonder, no one wanted to stay in, or conquer your region of the universe - there's nothing worth controlling there. Your existence, much like your entire solar system, also seems to be pretty insignificant. Tell me, is your race capable of destroying your own world? Oh, you're already well along the way? Global Warming? Pollution? Overpopulation? Nuclear weapons? Wow... it's been many millenia since I'd last heard of such ancient concepts from someone who is actually living through it. Still, good job getting that far. That means that your world is now, at least, worth considering as a possible place to install a World System. If I find the time, I'll try surveying it. You can just thank me, later. Oh wait! What kind of person am I, not even offering my guest any hospitality. I'm ashamed. Please, take a seat. What would you like? I have everything the multiverse has to offer, whatever it is you want - I can get. Ah! After we talk, would you mind, if I asked you to do me a tiny favor? There's this girl, I want to keep tabs on. She's in one of the Worlds that I preside over, it's called Aiarthe. But, for some reason, I can't see her - not directly, at least. All I need you to do, is check up on her from time to time. Whether you do it as a pure spectator or through someone else's eyes, is entirely up to you. Really!? You would!? Wow! Thanks! You really did me, a huge solid there! For agreeing so quickly, how about I get started on surveying that planet of yours, right now!? You can help yourself, to anything in the fridge! Well, see ya!
