"Hello, Mom. I wasn't expecting to see you here." Axel said while scratching the back of his head.

"Well, we finished the project earlier than expected, so our department got a few free days until the next one is assigned to us." His mother replied. "You know, there is always a need for someone to do photocopies and bring coffee to the team, so if you are interested, you could come and work with me."

Aiden's mother worked in an advertising agency, in which she was in charge of a whole team, so she had the power to hire a few people from time to time. This wasn't the first time she offered Axel something like that, as she had done it from time to time since Axel left college.

Seeing that her mother was trying again to get him into her company, Axel replied more or less the same as always.

"Thank you for the offer, but I'm still thinking about returning to college. I just want to find what truly makes me happy, or at least what I hate less," Axel replied with a forced smile.

" I will not force you to join my company, but you know that your father doesn't like it that you stay at home lazing around all day, so you should focus and find something productive to do with your time soon. You cannot depend on us for the rest of your life." His mother said.

"I know, I just need a little more time to find my way," Axel replied, while lowering his head.

"Well, I guess that's fine," his mother replied with a sigh before changing the topic of the conversation completely." And how is your life going? What do you plan on doing today?"

"I plan on going with Adam and William to the Valhalla comic store in the afternoon," Axel replied.

"At a comic store? Are you getting into world-building or what?" His mother asked, while arching an eyebrow.

At that moment, Axel's mind began to work faster than ever, as he didn't want his mother to know that he was working on his world, as he already knew that his parents didn't like world-building, even if he didn't know the reason.

"No, of course not." He replied with a smile on his face." Adam and William told me that the comic store is going to do a little card tournament like in the old days, so we are going to go and participate."

"Well, I guess that's not that bad. Have fun then." His mother said.

"Thank you, I will."

After that, Axel quickly prepared his breakfast and left the kitchen to return to his bedroom to avoid more questions from his mother.

When he returned to his room, he sat in front of his computer and ate his breakfast while watching some YouTube videos. Like this, a few hours passed in a blink, and 4 PM soon arrived.

After taking a shower and changing clothes, he left his home and went to Adam's house. As William had yet to arrive, they talked while they were waiting for him.

A few minutes later, William finally arrived, and the three of them began to walk towards the comic store while Axel told William the same thing that he told Adam.

"I will do my best," Axel replied as they continued walking.

A few minutes later, William suddenly opened his mouth, as if he had been thinking about what he was about to say for ages and suddenly had the best idea ever.

"How about an add-on that lets you select a few "chosen" and give them benefits? I mean, this new add-on could rely on heaven's will add-on to be more powerful, and as it makes some individuals better, it could help your cultivation add-on advance too, as those chosen reach new levels in their cultivation." William said, pretty proudly.
