《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 114

After hearing those words, Axel couldn't help but be surprised, as he didn't expect the bartender to be one of the leaders of "The Weapons of the Gods".
"I guess this is the kid Mark has recruited to participate in some rifts, right?" John, the bartender, asked from behind the bar.
"Yes, he is," George replied as he sat on a stool in front of John.
"What is your name?" John asked while looking at Axel.
"I'm Axel. Nice to meet you," he replied smiling while sitting by George's side.
"Well, let me tell you, Axel, that if George has brought you here, you have performed better than he expected." John said before looking at Axel for a few seconds." Have we met before?"
At that question, Axel could only react with surprise.
"Not that I remember. Why do you ask?"
"I don't know. Your face is familiar to me. But don't pay too much attention to what I say. After all, I spend most of the time here and see tens of faces each day. I may be confusing you with someone else." John said."Well, are you three going to drink something?"
"Give me a beer," George said.
"Me too," Jacob said.
"I will have orange juice," Axel said.
Hearing that, the three other people turned toward Axel.
"What? I don't like alcohol. It makes me feel sick the next day," he said, justifying himself.
"I guess there's nothing we can do about that then," George said while bursting into laughter.
At the moment, there wasn't anyone else in the establishment other than them, so after serving them their drinks, the four continued talking about worldbuilding.
"I must admit that your world is much better than I expected, but I haven't changed my mind yet. To become a good worldbuilder, you need to deepen your understanding of your world and how it should evolve." George said after taking a sip of his beer.

"I know. In fact, lately, I've been spending more time looking at my world and interacting with it. I have even made plans and preparations so some of my add-ons advanced in the directions I wanted and placed limitations on others so they wouldn't become something I didn't want." Axel explained.
"That doesn't sound all that bad," Jacob said." You are definitely much better than the customers from today."
"It was me, or their troops tried too hard to be overpowered but failed while trying?" Axel asked when he heard that.
"Yes, you are right," Jacob said.
"That's because their foundation is weak, and their worlds aren't able to create such powers." John explained." If you try to create an add-on that lets your troops destroy worlds with a single punch from rank one, what you are going to do is force your world to invest more energy in that add-on, which would make your world, in general, weaker, so your troops would be able to do as you wanted."
"The problem with that comes when you are fighting outside your world. Not only would your troops have less energy than before to make their powers work as they are not in your world, but they would also find that their enemies and the matter around them, in general, are much stronger, making them look even weaker than they were in their world." George explained." That's why it is better to create your power systems step by step, and instead of aiming to destroy worlds with a single punch at rank 1, maybe you will be able to do it at rank 6."
"I see. I guess until now I've been doing well then." Axel said.
"You did well, but you could do better," a voice said from behind while laughing.

When Axel turned, he found out that it was Mark who was talking.
"Oh, Hi Mark," Axel said as he saw him."Why are you saying that?"
"Well, as far as I know, you could have a better configuration for your add-ons right now." He said as he sat next to the others." A beer, please."
"What do you mean by that?" Axel asked confused.
"I mean that you could have another add-on if you make a few changes to your world," Mark replied.
"Really?"
"Have you got any loot on today's rift? Or have you chosen the contribution points?" Mark asked.
"He has chosen the points," George replied.
"Then I suggest you use them to get a convergence gem," Mark said.
"What's that?"
"It is an item found on rifts from time to time." George replied."It lets you fuse two compatible add-ons into a new one with most of the functions of both."

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

The Rift of Syn Doa
Every twenty-six years a rift opens, connecting the Ursei and Shirrah realms. Inside that rift, a magical ore can be found and harvested. This magical ore is capable of granting magic to any species or extraordinary abilities to crafted goods. Both realms fight fiercely over the rare substance, but war is not the only danger. The Doa Shrykes, feral monsters with a voracious taste for blood, await them inside the rift as well. This is a WIP, and subject to change, reorder, and future edits. Upon completion, there is intent to publish. Cover art will change as well. Any suggestions/recommendations, comments, rearrangements, etc. are much appreciated, since I'm trying to beat this into shape and have it be the best it can be. :D
