《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 119

"Are you sure about that?" Axel asked.
"Of course I am," William replied. "Why wouldn't he give you great advice?"
"I mean, he may be one of the best worldbuilders in the world, but in the end, there is only a creature in his world. His experiences cannot be used in a world like mine." Axel replied.
"Well, that might be true." William accepted.
"Even if that's the case, reaching the final would be pretty challenging, so I wouldn't get my hopes up." Adam said." But there is going to be a Q&A with Cedric and a few other worldbuilders that could be interesting. They aren't going to give tips and advice to everyone who asks, but it could be interesting to hear their thoughts about worldbuilding and stuff."
"Sounds interesting. We should go." Axel said.
"Then we should hurry up because they'll do it as soon as the convention starts," Adam explained.
After hearing that, Axel quickened the pace so they could get there sooner.
The location of the convention was the fairgrounds of the city. It was an enormous building that had held dozens of expos and conventions of all kinds in the past.
After half an hour of walking, the three friends were already at the fairgrounds. The closer they got, the more people they saw walking in the same direction. What caught their attention was that most people were disguised as characters from comics and series.
"Wasn't this a worldbuilding convention? Why are there so many people disguised? This looks more like an anime convention than anything else." Axel said, surprised.
"Well, knowing that most people build their worlds after their favorite series, it is not surprising that there are so many people like this," William said while laughing.

When they arrived at the fairgrounds, there was a queue of people waiting to buy their tickets to enter. They stopped at the end of the queue and waited until it was their turn.
A few minutes later, they were finally inside.
The place was enormous, so they checked one of the many maps that were on the walls to find the area where the Q & A was.
While walking through the fairgrounds, Axel saw many comic book and clothing stalls, and even though some were dedicated to add-ons and subs, they were in the minority.
The Q & A was celebrated in the middle of the convention, where there was a stage with five people on it. The three friends managed to arrive at the place just in time. They sat in a few chairs when they asked the first question.
"What do you think is the most important quality for a worldbuilder?" asked a man dressed as a ninja.
"I think the most important quality is the capacity to adapt and take advantage of what you have. If you aren't flexible, your world is going to end up in chaos in no time." replied one of the famous worldbuilders.
After replying, the ninja passed the microphone to another person with a tin foil hat.
"Well, I wanted to know what you think about the theories that say worldbuilding is a gift from the aliens and not from God." asked the man.
After hearing that question, the five worldbuilders looked at each other while smiling before Cedric replied.
"What is your world's rank?" he asked with a smile.
"I'm... I'm rank 2," the tin foil hat man replied nervously.
"That's what I thought. You can ask any high-ranking worldbuilder in the world, and they are going to reply the same as I do. Worldbuilding is a test from God to find the only one that will manage to succeed him. If anyone has told you anything different from that, I'm sorry to tell you that he lied to you or that he has no idea what he is talking about." Cedric replied.

"But... What can you tell me about the inscriptions found on rifts? How can you explain the similarities with the writings of ancient civilizations? Obviously, it's all because of the ancient astronauts..." the man tried to argue.
"My answer remains the same as before," Cedric replied. "Next question, please. We don't have much time before the tournament begins, and I would like to answer a bunch of questions before that."
After that, the Q & A continued for an hour, where a lot of stupid and interesting questions appeared. When it ended, the event's organizers began the preparations for the tournament that was about to start.
