After seeing the young man land in front of them, the armored man and the burned woman took a fighting stance.

It was clear that that man was much more powerful than he looked. Even the snake's instincts were screaming at it to get away from it before getting killed. But that sensation only lasted a few seconds before something inside the beast convinced it that it needed to cooperate with that man if it wanted to survive.

The woman was the first to act as a fire began to burn below her. The flames soon extended toward her whole body as she pointed with her right index finger at the man while a grimace of hatred appeared on her face.

Suddenly, the floor beneath the man burst into flames as burning hands appeared from nowhere and tried to grab him so he couldn't move.

But without even batting an eye, the man cut at the hands a few times with his sword while another light panel appeared in front of his left hand.

With a single glance, the man looked over the whole panel before tapping it again. This time, instead of golden wings appearing on his back, what happened was that his body became covered in a layer of frost that protected him from the fire.

Seeing his enemy distracted, the armored man dashed toward the young man as his sword began to shine with golden light before its blade doubled its size. He tried to take advantage of the man's situation and split him in half with a vertical cut, but before he managed to do it, he felt something hit him from the side.

Using its skills to control water-energy, the snake compressed a large amount of the water in its surroundings before shooting it at the armored man as a projectile.

Even though the man's armor managed to prevent most of the damage, he still got ejected several meters away, falling into the water because of this.

After being helped by the beast, the young man looked over at it and smiled before fixing his gaze on the burnt woman.

"You know, in my world, there are monsters like you. I have even created a specific spell to deal with them because of how annoying they are. I truly hope it works as well on you as it does with them." the man said with a smile.

Another light panel appeared in front of him, and after reading for a few seconds, he tapped on it again before his sword began to shine with white light.

Even from many meters away from it, the snake felt threatened by that light. In its eyes, it could only be defined as divine.

Seeing that, the woman began to scream, letting out an ear-piercing cry as the fire on her body began to turn black. The man pointed his sword toward her before slashing in her direction and releasing a slash made of light.

The slash passed through her body as if it was made of butter, leaving behind a white line that split her body into two parts. At first, it looked like the attack didn't have any effect, but a second after, white light began to come out of the cut and disintegrated the woman into particles of light while she could only scream in pain.

In the meantime, the snake swam toward the armored man who had fallen into the water to kill him.

Not only did it have a large area filled with water where it could move as freely as it wanted, but the armor of the man would probably have become a hindrance for him to get out of the water, so he was the perfect prey for the snake.

Controlling the water around the man, the snake created a swirl and dragged him towards the bottom of the swamp. Seeing that the overweight had become a problem, the man let his sword and shield sink into the bottom.

After doing that, the man began to ascend with great effort, but before he could even try to get out of the water, the snake bit the lower half of his body and began to pull him down. The man struggled for a few minutes while the beast continued biting on him.

The man began to drown while being unable to reach the surface. At the same time, he lost a large amount of blood because of the wounds inflicted by the snake.

With his energy being rapidly drained, the man fell unconscious before the snake could eat him whole. At the same time, the burned woman's disintegration ended, leaving no trace of her behind.

At that moment, only two creatures remained alive in the swamp.
