《Creating a world can't be that difficult, right?》Chapter 131

After Axel gave the order, the excess energy that was being absorbed by the core after the modification of the rune came back to it. This time, instead of adding or modifying the lines of the rune, the energy began to wrap around the rune slot, creating a bright edge.
"Is it done? Won't it split up? Just like that?" Axel asked, surprised.
"Yes, it is done. The edge around the rune will force it to stay together while we feed it with energy." Heaven replied.
"Wow. I always expect complicated things when it comes to worldbuilding, but I guess sometimes the simplest solution is also the most effective." Axel said after observing the rune for a few seconds.
After the modifications to the cultivation add-on and forcing it to stay together, the core lost a lot of intensity, which meant that it had used a lot of its energy.
"Does the core have enough energy to create a new add-on?" Axel asked Heaven.
"Not right now, but if we resume the time, we could get enough in a few hours in the outside world."
"Well, I fixed the problem with the cultivation ranks, so I guess there is no reason to keep the world frozen," Axel replied.
After that, he was about to break his concentration when an idea crossed his mind.
"Heaven, you can control the new bloodline's function, right?"
"Yes, I can."
"Nice. And are you able to create new bloodlines from nothing?"
"Yes, I can do it."
"Ok. I want you to recreate the bloodline that the snake we have sent to fight in the tournament should have. Do you think you will be able to do it?"
"Thanks to the changes you made to my add-on to be able to classify creatures inside the world, I have information about all the creatures that have lived since its creation, so with a bit of time, I should have it done," Heaven replied.

"Do it then. It would be sad if the world didn't see the first of its creatures that reached rank two. I think it deserves to at least have its descendants living inside the world again." Axel said.
"Technically, that magical beast already has offspring. It has given birth to exactly ninety-six individuals that are still alive." Heaven replied.
"What the hell? Really? Well, I don't mean its real descendants. What I want is its evolved form to exist inside the world and bring that new element with it." Axel said.
"I will start my work as soon as possible then."
"Perfect. When you finish, release a few weak specimens into the north ocean of Eden. Maybe they will become strong enough to change the area with their elements and create an artificial north pole." Axel said while laughing.
"As you order, Master."
After that, Axel broke his concentration and returned to the toilet.
When he opened his eyes, he looked at his phone and realized that he had been there for more than half an hour.
He left the bath as fast as he could and began to run across the fairgrounds until he reached the area where they celebrated the tournament.
As soon as he arrived, he saw his two friends standing by the side of a screen, looking at a battle between a martial artist made of ice and a cyberpunk samurai.
"Sorry for being so late. How's everything? Have you fought already? Have you won?" Axel began to ask his friend.
"I lost," Adam replied with a half smile." At this point, everyone had a rank two world, and two of them were friends, so they teamed up against the other participant and me. After a bit, our troops began to work together, but it was too late for us to turn the tables on them."

"That's pretty sad. But think about it. It could be worse. You could have lost in the first round like William." Axel said while bursting into laughter.
"Eh!" William shouted indignantly.
After that, the three friends continued looking at the tournament until it was over.
The winner was a teenager, around seventeen years old. When he was declared the winner, the organization gave him a medal and a microphone so he could say anything that he wanted. With a smile on his face, he began to shout at the microphone.
"I did it, guys! This victory goes to my group. Long live the "Black Demons of the Dark Seventh Hell!" the teenager shouted.

Cheep!?
Charles Monroe survived the disappearance of his parents, did his best to hold things together for himself and his sister. He survived when she, too, vanished, leaving behind nothing but a cryptic note. He was devastated, but he kept moving forward as best he could. Cancer didn’t put him down, and after suffering through several rounds of chemotherapy, Charles Monroe thought that things might finally be looking up. That is, until a virulent strain of ebola swept through the city. With his immune system strained as it is, the odds don’t look good for Charles. Now, on the bridge between life and death, he hears a voice claiming to know where his family went. It claims that it needs his help and that it can give him a second life, one far away from all the pain he’s ever known. So, Charles answers as any reasonable person would. He says no. Charles isn't ready or willing to die yet. But, as with everything else to this point, even his choice to keep fighting is taken from him all too soon. With no other option but the dark oblivion of death, Charles chooses to make a deal with the spirit of a distant world that's seeking a wild card in its battle against the gods, monsters, and mortals that threaten its existence. Someday, he’ll find where his family went. Someday, he’ll uphold his end of the bargain and hunt beings powerful beyond anything he’s ever known. Someday, he might even – hatch? “CHEEP!?” Things to Know: -Cheep!? Will release on a minimum weekly schedule. -After a backlog of chapters, posting will slow, but in the interim you can expect a chapter a day up until roughly 25 chapters. -This story at times will potentially carry some heavy moments, but the tone is intended to be lighter overall. -There are invisible game-like elements in this story, but nothing so concrete as a dedicated gamelit novel. -I personally have some issues with anxiety, so I may or may not interact with the community a lot. I'll try if anyone has questions, but I can't guarantee that it'll be consistent. -MC is a non-human lead, and will never actually become human. Romance will potentially happen between side-characters, but not with the MC. -MC IS NOT THE ONLY VIEW POINT. I have to put that out there because people sometimes hate alternate PoV's in a story. None of them will be filler, and they'll be there only to give a little bit more nuance and meaning to the world that the MC has stepped in, or is about to be imminently important. I'll try to keep them down, but this also helps to prevent me from burning out getting trapped in one view. -Most of all, I hope that this story is enjoyable to you, and that you have a great time reading it! -Written by Michael Adams, Cowritten/Edited by Summer Kent

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge

Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends
In the civilized world of humans, 'monsters' have all but passed into legend. But when something goes bump in the night, when people begin to disappear, when a dark mystery begins to haunt even the most peaceful villages, there is only one organization to turn to: the Hunters. The Venatori. Having lived a life of discipline and service, former soldier Caiden Voros finds something even worse than the wars of humans: the monsters that hunt them. Horrors yet unknown even to him and his many scars await in the claws, talons, fangs, and mysterious powers of creatures so far beyond humans that he must dedicate himself entirely to the art of slaying them. Harboring a secret of his own and in a constant struggle to find answers while maintaining his sanity, however, Caiden begins to ask the age-old question... Who is truly worse, the monsters or the Men? Wulfgard: The Hunt Never Ends is an episodic collection of stories, each of which stand on its own, but they also build upon each other in a consecutive order, bridging a gap between a novel and short story collection. These stories follow monster hunter Caiden Voros and his partner Gwen Vergil as they embark on tales of mystery, horror, and adventure to track down monsters - the living dead, beast-men, shape-shifters, spirits, and many more - that would do harm to innocent lives and, by whatever means necessary, put a stop to their terrors. Their motives, however, are not always what they seem.
