《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 23: Made up prophecy

'This kid's eyes are really scary, they remind me of the eyes of those desperate soldiers…' Emilia's heart was shaken when she saw the familiar look in Yuki's eyes that she was used to seeing in humanity's armies that were going to march to their death and fight the fearful demon army…
Meanwhile, Ashiya turned serious as he also understood what this wild and crazed look meant, and it always spelled for a difficult and bloody fight for him and his army 'This kid is definitely not normal' he thought as he could sense the negative emotions that were overflowing around Yuki slowly vanishing before they were replaced by an eerie silence!
While Ashiya and Emilia were each wondering what was going on, Crazy ideas kept clashing inside of Yuki's head, and the reason for that was the close call with death he just had because of Ashiya, He was faced by the harsh reality that just because of a misunderstanding, he almost lost his life, what a pitiful death that would have been... And it reminded him of how weak he was in his previous world and ended up dying in his sleep without even realizing it...
So, a terrifying ambition started burning in his heart and soul, the ambition to be strong enough and not be crushed by anyone's whims, whether it be this demon in front of him or the system inside his head and he started desiring for those rewards…
'I won't lose my life, no matter what' Yuki vowed inside his head before countless ideas started going through it to find a solution to his current predicament 'I definitely can't do it on my own, but I don't have to do it on my own in the first place, there's a hero in front me and I have two strong demons as my neighbors, I kept thinking for some reason that I can't expose the system, but fuck it, if it ends up exposed so be it, I will use whomever I need to survive this and I think it might actually be possible with the help of these people'
After Yuki organized his thoughts, the fog that was covering his vision all this time started to slowly unveil itself as the light of hope started illuminating his way to survival from this predicament, and he knew that if there's one thing predicaments fear… It is hope!
"Emilia, I think we should erase his memories" said Ashiya with a regretful look on his face and Emilia was reluctant but she too thought this was the best choice. Anything is better than involving someone in their dangerous world and struggles…
"I knew you were a demon way before this" Yuki suddenly said with a straight face dropping a huge bomb on Ashiya
"Impossible, how did you find out?" Ashiya wasn't convinced and thought that Yuki was simply lying to him but Emilia had different thoughts as she took him seriously
"What do you mean how? You call your roommate my lord, and you know these rooms doesn't have the best soundproofing, so I overheard you talking about how embarrassing it was for the hero Emilia to fall miserably on the stairs the first time she saw me and you kept laughing and having fun on her expense and talking about your old world loudly" Yuki said with a wicked smile on his face, and noticing the veins that started to appear on Emilia's forehead, he knew he achieved his purpose…

'First goal, turn the hero and the demon on each other so that they don't keep agreeing on erasing his memory completed' Muttered Yuki in his head, mimicking his system...
Ashiya's face immediately turned pale as he looked at Emilia nervously and tried to explain "L-L-Listen hero Emilia, we all find ourselves in humiliating situations sometimes, it's nothing to be ashame-"
"You bastard" yelled Emilia and immediately cut him off with a punch to the face that sent him flying across the room until he smashed into the wall and landed upside down
"That felt good" Said Yuki with a smile on his face, seeing that his second objective of getting back at this guy who almost took his life was met, so he thought it was time to start his third objective which's trying to gain Emilia's trust. So, he turned his attention away from Ashiya and looked at her noticing that her cheeks were red
'She's probably embarrassed from getting reminded about the stairs incident' thought Yuki before he got an Idea and said with an apologetic smile "Sorry to remind you about that, I can't really blame you, not to mention you, even Ashiya and Maou were so scared of me you wouldn't believe it, Ashiya kept screaming like a girl every time he catches a glimpse of my shadow and he wouldn't even look me in the eye until today…"
Emilia was a little surprised seeing me trying to comfort her, but she really felt better when she heard that she wasn't the only one that had that embarrassing first encounter with Yuki, the only difference is that she ran away so she didn't get the chance to witness what happened to Maou and Ashiya...
It was at this point she remembered how he tried to help her back then when she fell down the stairs and she misunderstood him and has yet to apologize so she quickly said "I'm also very sorry about that day, it was wrong of me to just r-r-run away when you were just trying to offer your help"
Yuki had a generous look on his face, if you can believe a skeleton look-alike could have one and said "It's fine, I'm used to people treating me this way, I just didn't think that it would actually lead to me almost getting myself killed… in my own room no less"
At the end of his sentence, Yuki shot an angry look at Ashiya who was pretending to be dead and kept lying down motionless but after he heard him, he stood up with a bruise on his cheek and said with an apologetic look "sowy abut that"
Ashiya's cheek was so swollen to the point that he couldn't even talk properly which made Yuki even more delighted and wished to one day be the one to hit him like that…
Meanwhile, Emilia seeing how Yuki easily forgave her made her feel like he was big-hearted and thought 'To actually still be this kind even though people treat him badly wherever he goes… I really wronged him'
Ashiya used some magic to recover his face which left me marveling at how miraculous this power was before he said with an apologetic face "I'm really sorry Yuki-kun, please forgive me"

"You owe me a big one" Said Yuki with a serious face and Ashiya delightfully nodded in acceptance before he asked with a surprised look "Yuki-kun, aren't you scared of us, after all even though Emilia is a human just like you, but we are still people with dangerous powers from another world"
Emilia too looked at this curiously, but she couldn't see any traces of fear on this kid's eyes when he looked at her which made her feel good about herself, and this feeling increased when she saw him shake his head and heard him say
"You who tried to kill me... maybe I should fear you, but don't even put Emilia in the same sentence as you, she just saved my life so I'm only grateful for her"
Ashiya coughed a little before he said "Then can you explain to me the reason why you were emanating all that negativity? Oh, I should mention to you that as a demon, I could sense it when people emanate negative emotions, although I don't feel any coming from you right now…"
'Oh, so this's what caused the misunderstanding to increase to the point that he wanted to attack me huh' Yuki finally realized what caused all of this and he couldn't help but curse the system again in his heart as directly or indirectly, it almost killed him…
Ashiya sensing that Yuki started to emanated negative emotions again was surprised but he decided to wait for a response, but surprisingly, the answer he received only served to give him more doubts
"How would you feel when you know your life is going to end and you can't do anything about it?" Said Yuki with a depressed look on his face, which made Emilia take pity on him but this matter was too serious so she quickly asked
"Yuki-kun, is someone threatening your life? It better not be these two demons or I will make sure they pay for it!" Emilia's hero instincts were at full display and ready to protect this poor boy
"Hey Emilia, my lord and I have been living peacefully here as good citizens, we didn't threaten him in any way shape or form" Ashiya quickly jumped to defend himself and his lord but she simply ignored him and waited for Yuki to reply to her.
However, Yuki's response was beyond her expectations as she heard him say with a sad face " It's really tempting to say it's Ashiya and see him get beat up again…" Ashiya's face suddenly turned pale when he heard me say this but Yuki's next world made him sigh in relief
"But it wasn't Ashiya or Maou, Maou in particular has been nothing but nice to me" Emilia was surprised hearing someone actually praise Maou, the demon lord that terrorized a whole world for being nice, but she decided to keep listening for now while Ashiya was extremely proud of his lord…
"Aren't you surprised that I actually stuck around at this place even though I knew I have two demons as my neighbors?" Hearing my question, Emilia and Ashiya both found that it was indeed weird so Emilia asked "Were you forced to stay here?", while the cheapskate Ashiya asked "Was it money related?"
Yuki pointed at Ashiya with his finger and said "Bingo, I indeed don't have money to stay anywhere else, but money is the least of the worries of someone that has two ticking bombs living beside him so the logical decision would be to leave despite my money problems, but I didn't, you know why?"
Emilia and Ashiya found themselves intrigued by this as and like two kids being read a midnight story, they both asked at the same time curiously "Why?" However, they immediately realized what happened and shot each other a look of disgust before they continued listening
"The reason I decided to stay is because they are the only ones that can protect me… I actually started hearing voices these past few days that talked in a language I didn't understand…"
That's right, Yuki decided to imitate the incident that happened to Chiho… Chiho's father is a police officer and he was the first human to encounter Maou and Ashiya when they came to this world, so Maou cast some magic on him to learn the language of this world, as well as to fabricate new identities for the two of them…
However, somehow Chiho ended up affected by this magic, and when two of Emilia's friends tried to communicate with her using a very strong spell called an idea link, which is the reason for the frequent earthquakes that were happening in this area, they somehow ended up connecting with Chiho instead and she started hearing them talking in her head with the Ente Isla language, and after some time, she decided to tell Maou about it going on a date with him to the Shinjuku Underground mall where the first attack will occur…
So, Yuki decided to bet his luck and use a similar excuse to make it sound as real as possible and he followed by saying…"Somehow, that voice became clearer in my head as time passed and today I understood what it wanted to say…"
"What did it say?" So far, Ashiya was finding the story ridiculous, but Emilia already started linking it to whoever kept using the Idea link spell…
"It sounded almost like a prophecy… Beware the fallen angel and the man of light whose heart became dark, for in three days the demon lord and the half-angel will attack! And you shall be the witness, if you don't want your life to fade into black!"

I will not be eaten
Litchi is your ordinary Royal Road addict. She can’t resist the call of a new chapter even when she needs to work. Because of too many new responsibilities she promises one week without reading. Sadly, she cracks in three days, because of an Azarinth Healer notification. Taking out her phone she starts avidly reading. It’s just a small promise, she will try it another time. Nothing should happen. Say that to the goblin that tries to eat your face, Litchi! You should keep your promise! She was used to food jokes on her name but it seems that this time her destiny is to be eaten. ---- Hello future reader! I didn’t find a new good isekai so why not create my own? I am an RR addict and amateur writer (in French) and today I decided to publish a story. You will have my eternal gratitude for any advice or constructive comments on the story! One of my objectives is to have developed characters, duo or trio make a fantastic way to character growth. So, I will try to create a deep relationship between a few of them. The first few chapters have a lot of combat, but other characters will soon arrive. Those first few chapters are made to build tension and create Litchi's first motivations. This story has the plot written to the end and important characters already shaped. This story is short in comparison to the majority of RR fantasy stories. Update every two days until I have no more chapters in my pocket. Average chapter length: 2200 words Warning: The grammar can be bad, IMPORTANT CHARACTERS CAN (Will) DIE, contain philosophical conversation as the characters stumble upon morals dilemmas. I hope I will see you soon in the comments and thank you in advance for reading Litchi’s journey. Have a nice day! :)

Automata Annex
This Fiction is intended as a suppliment to my main title "I was reborn into a fantasy world as a magic robot?! Automata Prime". This is the appendix that would normally go at the END of the book. I will be updating the entries as new information is revealed in the story and linking back here from the author notes. Here we'll explore the world that I've crafted in the book, learn new things about the characters, and get a deeper understanding of how magic works. Think of it as an Automata Wiki.

The Genre of My Life Was Randomized?
The wheel spun and the genre changed. In every chapter, a new canvas made up of a thousand words was formed. I, the creator, do not know the future of this novel. I, the author, is but a mere slave that writes and creates what the wheel has given. What would happen after? What fate awaits the main character? When would you encounter the next chapter? Besides the latter, only the wheel could answer. Author's Note:Salutations dear reader. I'd like to dissuade you from reading this novel due to the following facts: 1. I am an amateur/new/beginner writer so it could be said that I don't know what I'm doing. 2. This novel is something which I wrote in order to hone my skills in adaptability, creativity, and writing in of itself. 3. Every chapter was made after spinning a wheel with the genres: Action, Horror, Romance, Comedy, Fantasy (as of writing) twice. The genres then would be showed in the chapter through theme, part of the story, flow, character, or whatever man idk. In case the wheel would show the same genre twice, the chapter itself would have the result as the main theme of the story with the other genres being free to use in order to fully show the theme. 4. I'm basically yoloing the story, trying to make sense of it even with the randomness of the current and future chapters; I swear I'm not a masochi.. *ahem* moving on, a variable left by the previous chapter won't suddenly just disappear because the next chapter doesn't have the same genre as before, meaning if a character that fits a genre was shown on let's say "Chapter 1", said character wouldn't just disappear or cease to exist for no reason at "Chapter 2" or the following chapters just because the character doesn't fit the genres. To make it short this isn't a collection of short stories but one big story instead. 5. Etc.
