After Maou and Ashiya settled down in the room, Yuki couldn't help but ask them with a smile "Yo Maou, why didn't you bring Hanzo with you? Yuki nodded seriously while shooting Maou and Ashiya a disgusted look as he said "I actually saw them once, one of them was huge and muscular with horns on his head like a bull as well as red eyes, I'm sure his brain is also that of a bull too. Meanwhile, the other looked like a banshee with his white hair and he would also scream like a bit— a banshee from time to time startling the residents in the whole district!"

"HAHAHAHA of course, I'm the greatest" Replied Maou with a smug look and a heroic pose...

While the two demons were exchanging whispers like two housewives, Yuki who was preparing dinner couldn't help but feel that something was wrong 'Those two are acting way out of character, it's impossible for them to take an insult like this without retaliation, I don't like where this is going'

While a cold war was happening between the demons and the ghost, the demons were also talking with Mashiro and they instantly took a liking to the pure girl as Ashiya complimented her but not without throwing a jab at Yuki "Ah Mashiro-chan, I wish all our neighbors were like you, pure, beautiful and kindhearted, all we've seen before are either shameless or petty "

As Yuki's eyes were filled with determination, Maou smugly stood up while saying "Sure" and he went to open the door.

At the door, there was surprisingly two women instead of just one as he expected, whether fortunate or not, Emi came along with none other than Chiho, and a drop of sweat suddenly started forming at the side of Maou's face who only called Emilia to cause Yuki trouble, and he ended up puttinh on the fake smile he uses to greet his customers at MgRonald and said "Welcome dear cust- friends, please come in"

However, the two girls completely ignored him as their attention fell on the only female in the room who was staring at them curiously, and they each had their own reasons, and like two animals in the wild, they started seizing their prey and the danger it might pose.

"Yo, welcome Emi, Chiho-chan, you came just in time, dinner will soon be ready" said Yuki with a welcoming smile on his face ignoring the judgmental look Emi was sending him.

"Sorry for visiting uninvited" Replied Chiho with an embarrassed look on her face while Emi glared at him and went straight to the point saying "When did you get a new roommate?"

Before Yuki could reply, Mashiro asked him curiously with a weird feeling in her heart "Yuki, is this your girlfriend?"

Hearing this, Emilia's face instantly went red like a tomato, and whatever hostility she had for Mashiro immediately vanished and was replaced with pure embarrassment as she stuttered "W-w-what are you talking about? H-h-he's not my b-boyfriend"

Mashiro tilted her head in confusion feeling that her reaction was weird, and not only her but even the two demons felt that the situation was evolving beyond their expectations as they looked at each other and thought 'What the hell is going on with the hero we used to know? Did we miss something?'

Yuki pretended as if he just realized the situation and completely avoided the land mine Mashiro set up for him as he said" Oh that's right, let me introduce you guys, this is Mashiro Shiina, my friend, and roommate, Mashiro, this is my friends Emi Yusa and Chiho Sasaki"

"Nice to meet you two" said Mashiro with her monotone voice and expressionless face while Chiho and Emilia replied saying that the pleasure was theirs before the girls went to the side and started talking and getting to know each other better leaving Yuki and the demons alone

"Yo Yuki, did something happen between you and that stupid hero" asked Ashiya all of a sudden, and Yuki simply shrugged and said "How about you get your thin ass over here and help me set up the table"

"Tch, getting your guest to work for you, this is unlike the Japanese culture" said Ashiya disdainfully but Yuki wasn't even someone from this world, not to mention being Japanese, so didn't care at all as he replied "Maybe I should use the Ente Isla culture and stab this knife in your ass while you are asleep, what do you think"

Seeing the weird look on Yuki's face, Ashiya immediately covered his ass with both hands before he walked vigilantly towards Yuki and started helping him set up the table while they kept bantering with each other.

Meanwhile, Maou simply watched all of this silently with a clueless look on his face while inside his head, the gears were turning at top speed as he thought 'Why's Emilia acting this way, I was expecting to make a misunderstanding between her and Yuki and watch the fun, but I didn't expect her to actually react that way… did she fall for this kid?'

He couldn't help but shake his head at the thought 'It's none of my business if she does, but this kid is really interesting, just like this world of mortals, were the people of Ente Isla also like this, simply wishing to live like normal people…'

Maou couldn't help but fall deep in thought as he reconsidered his past actions and beliefs while listening to the laughter and the normal interactions of the people around him until he was interrupted by an eerie whisper in his right ear startling him awake as he almost jumped away from his seat making the girls giggle at him while Yuki smirked at him

"Dinner's ready" said Yuki and Maou couldn't help but let out a smile as he thought 'What was I thinking… none of these people are normal by this world's standard… and so am I'

"ITADAKIMASU" Said everyone as they started wolfing down their dinner and enjoying their talk, and during this warm atmosphere, a lonely devil was sticking his ear in the wall to listen to what they were saying while salivating as his stomach growled in hunger before he muttered "Those fuckers, I just wish they bring me something to eat"

However, Hanzo would never be in luck to receive something from Yuki, not today nor any other day… he's more likely to win a lottery!
