《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 61: Yuki vs Hilda

"Not bad, my record is 9-0 right now, I'm only one fight away from completing my Quest… The money's also great, I wish more idiots would challenge me like that…" muttered Yuki while grinning widely...
However, he would soon regret this because just as he was going back home while jogging as he always does, suddenly from a dark alleyway he was about to pass, tentacles made of darkness caught him and dragged him inside as his muffled yell echoed from his covered mouth…
However, Yuki instantly understood that he was being attacked by some sort of magic so he immediately used his Dark shield that dispelled the tentacles and he allowed his phone to drop from his pocket…
After getting back up from the ground while slightly massaging his ass that was dragged through the floor, Yuki stared at his assailant, and to his surprise, it was none other than the demons's maid Hilda.
'Great, now I need to deal with this troublesome woman', how in the hell did she find me? was she stalking me again?' thought Yuki in annoyance before he said with a harmless smile "What do I the pleasure of you attacking me out of nowhere dear stalker?"
Meanwhile, Hilda stared at him coldly and said "I knew it, you can use dark magic, although I can't sense any demonic power coming from you… You must be good at hiding it" Then she slowly retrieved a thin sword from the handle of the umbrella she was holding.
"Wait wait, this must be a misunderstanding I…" Yuki was about to pacify the situation but she immediately attacked him making him focus on dodging her dangerous sword strikes…
'He can actually match my speed' thought Hilda in surprise as Yuki kept trying to distance himself from her and clear the misunderstanding since he didn't like fighting people needlessly but she didn't give him any chance to do so which started to annoy him… and suddenly, a quest appeared in front of him!
[Quest: Annoying flies]
[Quest Description: Host is getting underestimated by people because of his weak looking appearance which brings huge dishonor to the system. The time to pay them back is here!]
[Quest Task: Show this lowly demon maid Hilda the price of provoking the host!]
[Quest Reward: Dark strike| Additional rewards depending on the completion of the mission]
[Quest note: Show her who's boss!]
The moment Yuki read through the details of this quest, his harmless smile transformed into a demonic one as he calmly ducked under one of her attacks allowing it to break a water pipe from the wall behind him which he calmly caught in his hand before he stared at Hilda
"Fine, since you want to get beaten, so be it" Said Yuki with a smirk causing Hilda to narrow her eyes before she attacked him again.

*tang*tang*tang*
The thin sword and the water pipe kept clashing against each other multiple times bringing a shocked look to Hilda's face as she thought 'Impossible, he's parrying all of my sword attacks without connecting with the sharp side of my sword to avoid his pipe getting cut, how's this possible!'
Meanwhile, Yuki suddenly felt like he was in a trance as his swordsman talent took effect, he spent the past few days feeding Emilia his magic to recover some of her power, and at the same time, he asked her to teach him swordsmanship since she was great with the sword and he quickly learned the basics thanks to his 500% increase in learning speed from his swordsman talent and the 300% increase from his minotaur's talent... in his drawing talent helped slightly...
And right now, faced with such a real battle. Yuki felt the world slow down in front of him and huge loads of information kept gushing through his head making him understand all of Hilda's moves before she even used them and react to them instinctively until he slowly begin to get the edge over her!
'He's also predicting my moves! It seems the situation might turn worse for me if I keep taking him lightly' thought Hilda before she narrowed her only visible eye slightly and instantly coated her sword with her demonic magic to make it sharper and finish off the boy in front of her. But just as she did, she noticed a smirk on the boy's face, and before her sword could connect with the pipe, he suddenly vanished from her sight before she felt a strong impact to the back of her hand that was holding her sword making her lose her grip over it before she was kicked away by Yuki as he calmly picked up her sword with his left hand…
"How? How did you disappear all of a sudden, I should be faster than you in terms of speed!" muttered Hilda in shock while holding her bruised hand, but Yuki wasn't going to explain to her the magic of his Quick step skill…
"You are in no position to ask questions, dear maid" said Yuki with a smile as he started approaching her making her pupils shrink slightly before she tried to use her magic and created another wave of dark tentacles and attacked him with them but Yuki simply cut all of them with her sword with swift movement and the more she sent him the more he seemed to be getting used to them and cut them even faster
Seeing this, Hilda let out a snort before the sword on Yuki's hand suddenly turned into smoke before it returned to her hand
"Oh what a useful skill" muttered Yuki with an eerie smile, but Hilda's panicked expression vanished startling Yuki slightly as she stared at him with an eerie look in her eyes and said with a smirk "It seems like you are a worthy opponent"

Then Yuki felt a huge accumulation of demonic magic emanating from her body as a strong dark aura covered her sword "Let's see you deal with this" She said before she rushed at him with a terrifying speed that was almost double his, but Yuki calmly said "Now!"
And out of nowhere, Hilda who was rushing at Yuki with a huge grin suddenly felt like one of her legs hit something and she ended up losing her balance 'What! I'm sure there was no obstacle in my path, how could I stumble…' thought Hilda, but her thoughts were quickly cut off by a flying knee that landed squarely on her face and sent her flying before she hit the wall.
The damage caused by this attack was so huge because she was moving forward which increased the power of the impact she felt… not to mention that Yuki's body was harder than stone, yet he still felt his knee hurt from the impact...
But surprisingly, Hilda still stood up with a huge bruise on her face and coughing out some blood as she asked "How did you do that, I didn't sense anything!"
Yuki sent her a smirk as he thought 'Of course you didn't, even Maou, a demon lord thought that my dear ghost wasn't a normal one, and he could barely detect it if he focuses hard on doing so, not to mention you, little girl'
After thinking for long about why this was so, Yuki could only conclude that it had something to do with karma's weird existence or maybe his system which caused a mutation to occur when the ghost was born making him different than other ghosts…
"That was scary just now" Said Yuki with a smirk as he stared at Hilda who was glaring at him and struggling to stand up properly, but she still picked up her sword and attacked him again with a similarly empowered slash.
But this time, Yuki could react to her speed, and he immediately used his dark shield to block her slash. Yet to his surprise, the slash destroyed his shield, but it bought him enough time to dodge her attack.
Then he led her around like that for a while, barely avoiding her attacks before suddenly he made his counterattack by predicting her attack and slashing at her with his pipe at the right moment forcing her to dodge back…
However, just as she did, a rock that fell from somewhere in the sky connected with her head causing her eyes to widen in shock before they turned completely white and she fell unconscious.
"Good job Yuki" said Yuki to ghost Yuki (Sorry for the mind fuck) as he approached the unconscious Hilda that was bleeding from her head in annoyance "Now what should I do with her? Should I throw her at the garbage dumb over there? Nah that would be too cruel, but she deserves punishment for attacking me like this..."
Yuki wasn't someone who forgives easily, especially since he didn't know what could have been his fate if he wasn't as resourceful as he was, and he was someone who always thought of the worst.
One thing that made this victory possible despite the difference in speed his opponent had was that he made it a 2 vs 1 from the start thanks to the help of ghost-kun and he wasn't planning to fight fairly at all. He did this by intentionally dropping his phone at the start of the fight and using his telekinesis-like power to communicate with the ghost on plans to deal with her thanks to its slight ability to affect its surroundings!
"What do you think? Should we dispose of her?" said Yuki to the empty space, this scene would have scarred a lot of people if they saw it, as Yuki was creepy looking enough, and him acting creepy as well would just make him a walking nightmare…
But it got worse as his phone slowly floated through the air and landed in front of him and he saw that the ghost typed "Don't bother, I feel like she wasn't trying to kill you as she targeted the pipe more than you" Yuki nodded thoughtfully at this because he also noticed the same thing during the fight, but he was still not satisfied so he thought about it for a while before suddenly, an evil grin visited his face causing even the ghost near him to distance itself away from him…
"This will do" muttered Yuki before he first tore a piece of Hilda's clothing to help cover her bleeding head injury before he told the ghost about his plan and Yuki could almost hear it laughing evilly just like him.
Next with the help of the ghost, they started putting Hilda in all kinds of funny positions including her petting a dead cat they found near the dumpster and even giving it a kiss… and of course, they took pictures of all of these funny positions to make her life miserable in the future, although they didn't do anything indecent to her since he was a gentleman… After having their fun, Yuki stole all of Hilda's jewelry and money before he sent the picture of her kissing the ugly dead cat to Oga while laughing out loud before leaving the alley…
…
After walking for a while, Yuki thought inside his head 'Yo system, how's my rewards for this quest' but all he received was a notification [...] even the system was left speechless!

The Empty Valley Cries Unheard
The stories can be read at any order. Phew, this story was finally finished at last! What could I say, it was a hell of a ride when I wrote it from the beginning to end. Thanks for having me on RR :D All the current chapter had already done a run on Grammarly, so hopefully it'd be more readable. ...kinda feeling lazy so calling off the edits for now. A couple of old / new attempts of combining Horror, Comedy and Absurdist elements. I'm not very good at writing Horror stories but I'd like to try once in a while. Although the first chapter may be completely screwed up, believe me--I mostly write fluffy gay scenes between two girls. It would PROBABLY become a lot lighter as we moved up the chapter count. Not for the faint of heart, but if you're like me who like some absurd or nonsensical stories, this might be right up your alley. Sorry in advance if some of the chapters seem normal lol additional tags : nonsense / absurd / parody

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
