《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 67: Psychic talent and new opponent

Under Yuki's continuous pestering, the system finally explained to him what was going on
[Host, the demon lord created a perfect clone from you, which is why Yurei inherited your physical attributes and abilities, but talents aren't something that could be copied which is why he didn't inherit them, as for his soul attribute, well what do you expect, he was a spirit…]
'I see… I should make him work hard for having him gain my hard work for free' thought Yuki as an evil plan begin hatching inside his mind before he suddenly asked
'By the way system, is magic similar to my talents? How come he didn't get my balanced magic core?'
[Host, magic need to be awakened before the magic core is formed, and Yurei is no exception to this rule]
'I see, but what about the skill points and attribute points he has?' asked Yuki again and the system was getting tired of him so it responded for the final time
[Those can be earned from missions as additional rewards and won't affect the host's normal rewards, although the servant has to contribute to those missions… Now fuck off]
After this, no matter how much Yuki bothered the system, it didn't respond, but he still kept on doing it for a bit more just to piss it off before he turned to Yurei with a warm smile "Yo buddy, we have a lot to discuss…"
Yurei had a bad feeling for some reason, but Mashiro saved him as she asked Yuki curiously "Yuki, is he really your brother?"
'What the hell was this idiot talking while I was occupied' thought Yuki shooting Yurei a weird look, but he simply responded with an I didn't know what to tell her look, so letting out a sigh and remembering the name on his system's stat window, Yuki ended up saying "Indeed, he's my little brother, he's going to be living with us in the future…"
'I need to find a better house, this one is getting too crowded…' thought Yuki… 'Emilia isn't a problem since she will leave after I deal with Rize, but I should also figure out how to deal with Mashiro's problem, I don't want to change place since I like this one…' Yuki of course liked it for the cheap price, and anywhere else would cost him at least 100000 yen a month, plus he had his deer neighbors…
'First, finish the arena's mission tomorrow and get my reward before I think of the rest' concluded Yuki as he dragged Yurei with him outside for a walk so they can have some privacy...
"So Yurei, are you enjoying having a strong body?" asked Yuki with a smirk, and Yurei who used to be a normal human before turning into a ghost replied excitedly "I'm, I also still have my previous abilities as a ghost which is amazing!"
"I'm glad to see you so happy…" replied Yuki before he said "Now then, what do you think about robbing a bank"

Yurei's face froze slightly as he stared at Yuki as if he was staring at a monster before he replied "I wish I could, but my ability to go through objects is locked for now… it said that I need mana to use it"
"Mana huh…" muttered Yuki before he suddenly realized something "What do you mean it said?"
Yurei had an excited look on his face "I can see an interface that shows me my status and abilities… I think that it is because of you… Anyways, I have a maxed-out skill called phantom phasing but it requires me to use mana to use it"
Yuki's face darkened slightly before he said "Don't tell anyone that you can see that status window" while inside he was thinking 'What the hell system, are you trying to replace me or what'
And surprisingly, a notification appeared in front of him [I wish I could]
'motherfuc…' Yuki calmed himself down before he asked "How much mana do you need to use phantom phasing?" After all, he wanted to compare a maxed-out skill with his level 1 skill…
Yurei checked it again quickly before he said "mmm… wait I think it's better if I show you directly" and surprisingly, a notification appeared in front of Yuki
[Phantom phasing (Max): An active skill that allows Yurei to enter a phantom-like state where he becomes immune to all physical attacks and most elemental attacks (Things like fire, light, and lightning can still slightly harm you, while certain dark attacks greatly empower you) and you can move through physical objects. |Consumes mana= (STR + VIT) per second| Cooldown: -]
'You can do this as well?' Yuki was surprised as he read the description of the skill and noticed that the consumption was 10 times lower than his own! While the Cooldown was nonexistent… Not to mention that the attacks that used to cause harm even in that state, now only cause slight harm, and if we couple that with the basic elemental resistance he inherited from him… Yuki felt depressed…
'It seems like it's good to level up skills, hopefully I'll get more skill points in the future' thought Yuki who was satisfied by Yurei since he didn't try to hide anything from him…
"It seems like we need to find a way to awaken your magic in the near future" said Yuki but he was surprised when Yurei suddenly said "Although this is a downside from me getting a body, but there's a great upside and that's the psychic talent…"
"What do you mean?" asked Yuki and another notification appeared in front of him
[Psychic: The potential of the host's mind is unleashed granting him great control over his mind and soul's powers!. +300% training speed to mind and soul related abilities and - 300% decrease to the consumption of all psychic related skills]
"Amazing, unlike me who crudely uses my minds power, you have the telekinesis skill, and with this talent, I can't imagine how strong you are" muttered Yuki as he gulped slightly while Yurei only smiled proudly…

….
After understanding everything he needed to know from Yurei, they finally went back home to rest and prepare for tomorrow… The day of his 10th fight!
But first, Yuki wanted to check his improvements from the past few days and he was satisfied with the increase in his magic and mana, but he was especially happy with the new skills and items he got…

[Description: You surpassed the limits of a human, a normal human from this world that Is …]
'Not bad, soon I will get even more stronger' thought Yuki before he went to his comfortable bed, while poor Yurei had to sleep on the cold floor for now until they got him a futon or something…
The next day was very peaceful, and Yuki spent it going out with the demons and Yurei to help them refill their mana, and he found out that bringing Yurei with them was a great idea since he made it much more easier to creep people out… He was cloned from Yuki after all…
They kept at it until it was evening and they ended up attracting the unwanted attention of some cops so they fled back home… *
...
After he was done with this, Yuki checked the profile of his next opponent, he had pale skin, a slender build, dark eyes, and short black hair that reached to his nape. And wore an amiable smile on his face, although half of his upper face was covered by a black mask…
Name: Ryushi
Age : -
Record : 2-0-0
Odds: 1- 5
Description: Defeated his opponents with a lucky strike similar to Yuki…
This was all that was known about him, and Yuki's danger alarm kept ringing when he saw this guy whose harmless appearance was completely out of place in this dangerous arena…
"But I can't say no to that much money…" Muttered Yuki as he recalled how he was offered 5 million yen for this fight… As for the odds, for the first time, they were completely in favor of him...
'Tch, hopefully I'm just overthinking it' thought Yuki but he learned to always expect the system to play him dirty, which is why he was ready to go all out if needed!
…
After reaching the arena, he heard the people whispering about how two lucky people were going to fight, but he ignored these idiots and kept searching for a particular person, and he soon located him among the crowd and approached him eerily
"Yo, Izaya, long time no see buddy" Yuki had a warm smile on his face that creeped Izaya out as the latter said with a smirk "how come you gave me a visit? It seems like you are worried"
'This fucker already guessed why I'm here… tch' thought Yuki before he said "Let's talk in a more private place"
Izaya nodded at him with a smirk still on his face and once they were alone, Yuki went straight to the point and said "You are an information broker right? What do you know about that guy"
Izaya looked at Yuki playfully before he said "Ah, Yuki-kun, you know, knowledge isn't easy to come by" while gesturing with his finger for Yuki that he will have to pay dearly for this.
'I swear, one day I will shove both swords into your ass and baptize them with your blood' thought Yuki eerily before he said "Depends on how detailed your information is and how accurate it is"
He wasn't going to let this bastard easily get his way since he felt like he might get tricked by him…
Izaya smiled seeing how cautious Yuki was before he shrugged and said "Fine, I will give you a hint, he's an assassin…"
Seeing the shock on Yuki's face brought a smile to Izaya "So are you willing to pay now?" The reason Izaya knows about this is because he was intrigued the moment he saw the weird match up two days ago, and he felt like something wasn't right… Especially when he thought about Yuki's previous opponent.
And after doing some digging of his own and with some good old threats, he got his hands on the information he needed…
"How much?" asked Yuki and Izaya raised two fingers before he said "first I want your phone number so I can contact you, and second, I want half the money they promised you"
Yuki fell silent for a while before he said "fine, but if you bother me, I will just change my number now spill it out" Of course he knew that Izaya will probably discover his identity when he gets his number, but he didn't care since the demons and Emilia recovered some of their power and Emilia started receiving some weird potions from her friends that helped her recover her mana as well…
"Hahahaha don't worry, I will just call you when I'm lonely" said Izaya teasingly before he started explaining "Anyways, you really got on the bad side of someone that even I don't want to provoke easily"
"What do you mean?" asked Yuki curiously since he didn't think he made any enemies other than Rize.
'It seems he doesn't know huh? interesting' thought Izaya with a smirk before he dropped the bomb on Yuki "I'm talking about the undefeated champion of the arena, Kuro!"
An: who do you guys think Ryushi is?

Generic Zombie survival Wuxia Cliche story
Same old same old. Zombies attack. Zombies Evolve. Humans evolve. Humans gain superpowers. No deep plot, no plot planned out at all actually. Writing it as I go and because I'm a sad boi trying to use stories as a form of escapism. Not going to proofread, not going to check for grammar or anything. Will definitely read like a machine-translated Chinese amateur web novel. Have a nice day. (The cover is from one punch man, no this is not a fanfic) (I don't actually plan/think anything in this will be too gory or "traumatizing" but since its a zombie survival story I thought I might as well add it, plus the fact that the MC does some pretty messed up stuff. He's the stereotype Wuxia villain so to speak, expect competently and not dumbed down to make the hero look smart.) I will add warnings in author notes before chapter starts if anything particularly "gory" or trigger events happen.

A Generic Dungeon Core Story
When one falls… what happens? Do they just disappear into an endless abyss? Do they got to a final resting place to lay forever? Do they get to look down proudly upon the world from the clouds or look up in regret as they are burned and tortured? One man… person found out the hard way as he fell into a dark abyss after having surely died only to found himself awake again with most of his memories and knowledge blocked of as he was reincarnated into a 10ft cube as a small glowing sky blue orb…. This is my first actual foray to the world of webnovels as I’ve never wrote any stories before… *cough cough * edgy horny filled teenage fanfics do not count whatsoever *cough cough*. I am very new to the world of novels and I am not a native English speaker so expect a lot of grammar mistakes. The story will update on weekends on Saturday or whenever I feel like uploading as I do not have much free time and this is only a novel I write to improve my writing skills. What can you expect from the story? - Dungeons? Of course, this is the main theme of the story. - Multiple leads? Yes, there will be multiple perspectives from many different characters with at least 4 main characters. - Gamelit? The world is ruled by a system… that does absolutely nothing other than a way to view your stats and progression. - Murder hole? No, the lead character has a challenging yet fair view on how dungeons should operate, don’t get me wrong as he will still kill people if they are evil, careless or overestimate their abilities but don’t expect too much death as I feel that most adventurers would be smart enough to know their abilities especially when they have to do it themselves instead on relying on skills or the system. - Cultivation? No, the ability to gain power from sitting still and breathing never made any sense to me and it will be completely broken if the MC gets their hands on it so… no. - Non-human MC? Yes, they are a dungeon after all and yes, dungeons do get avatars but it is a specialized procedure that many choose not to do. Also, if the dungeon gets an avatar, no he will not be some wish giving demigod or whatever. - Magic? Yes, but it is very limited and down to the ground... from my notes... which means nothing - Art? Yes, I’m a hobbyist-artists so expect some art sketches here and there… I am poor so I do not have line art pens or tablets or adobe photoshop… also no scanners so… pictures of pencil-sketches it is, no coloring though since I am terrible at coloring. - Comedy? Yes, if you can call my bad attempts at humor comedy. - Likeable characters? Hopefully… especially since I accidentally made like... 60 characters … how I made 6 originals into 60?… I have no idea whatsoever… - Adventurers/invaders/delvers/etc…? Yes! My favorite part about dungeon core novels are when delvers delve into the dungeon and reading how they react, I will definitely flesh out the delvers and show how they operate more than usual hopefully. Hopefully you like the story, I will not have a patreon or paypal or whatever mostly because I’m under 18, thanks for at least reading this far and I hope that my writing is at least passable and you enjoy the story… if not then at least I got some writing practice in English.
