"Let's go" said Yuki as he approached the enormous gate and started pushing it slowly and a huge dimly lit hallway with arching stone pillars appeared in front of their view.

"This is the dwelling of spirits?" asked Kayle with a frown on his face, and Yuki had an annoyed look on his face as he entered

'Something is trying to affect my perception…' Thought Yuki as he began walking forward in the seemingly endless path

"Yuki-sama, this place is kind of eerie…" Said Sacha as she inched closer to Yuki while the latter who has been mistreated for his look during his ghost period couldn't help but take it personally and said "Well, Sacha-chan don't be a racist… this place could be just a calm and serene place"

Sacha and Kayle shot Yuki a weird look thinking that he was crazy and not long after, the voice of multiple females giggling echoed around creeping them out with the exception of Yuki who said with a smug look on his face "See, they are giggling at your silly comment"

'Something's definitely wrong with his brain' thought Kayle while staring at Yuki's smug smile and readied himself to use the bracelet at any moment.

"Why should I? who would be scared of some cute spirits" Said Yuki with a smile and the spirits immediately started giggling again

'You won't be giggling for long after he scams you' thought Kayle while observing his surroundings…

"AAHHH NOOO MY GIFT, Who cares about the stupid test you can meet me directly!" Then a small yellow orb of light instantly appeared in front of Yuki and he easily caught her from her wings like a bug before she clumsily smashes into his face and ends up breaking her nose…

"Hi there great adventurer, can you please let me go" said Ramiris nervously… She was a flat-chested fairy-like creature and small enough to rest on the palm of his hand. She has blonde hair that is done in pig-tails and has yellow eyes.

"Woah, amazing…" Said Ramiris 'poor girl' thought Sacha while glaring at Yuki as spirits floated around them…

"What is it?" she asked absentmindedly without averting her eyes form the necklace that was beautiful but pretty much useless…

"I want some of the essence of the elements that you have, is that possible?" Asked Yuki with puppy eyes making Ramiris uncomfortable…

"I don't really mind, but the other elementals might object to it" said Ramiris thoughtfully before she asked curiously "Why do you need it anyways?"

"Ah, you see Ramiris, my brother is a Majin, and he suffered from a terrifying and rare elemental illness that caused him to fall into fits of anger from an imbalance in his magicules as well as the spirit that inhabited him because it was injured from a fatal attack by an evil arch demon while he was saving three kids and a donkey…"

Yuki instantly activated his bullshit no Jutsu and he could see as Ramiris's at first was nodding in understanding and pity before her gaze started to grow foggy and soon steam started escaping from her ears as her head overloaded completely…

"And this is why I need the elemental essence"

After realizing that Yuki was done, Ramiris pretended that she understood and replied "I see I see, your poor brother must be suffering a lot, don't worry, the queen of spirits shall help you save his life!"

However, that mountain didn't trigger Yuki's path of evolution ability, instead it was something inside of it that wasn't visible to them…

"Oh this place is full of spirits" said Yuki as he felt the huge amounts of spirits through his magic sence

"Umu, this is the dwelling of spirits, and here as long as you have the desire and the spirits takes a liking to you, you can summon even a greater spirit"

"Mmmm Not bad" muttered Yuki while rubbing his chin and contemplating if he should wait for Rimuru to come here or if it's better to just try to summon a spirit right now… However, in the end he felt like it was better to wait.

"How do I take the essence of the elements?" Asked Yuki but suddenly, a light spirit suddenly appeared in front of them and said to Ramiris mockingly "Oy evil spirit, you actually fell so far from grace and actually dare to trade our essence of the elements for a cheap magic item"

This was the elemental of light that could bless the heroes with divine protection and his status was second only to Ramiris herself!

"What cheap gift, this is a rare necklace that's also a magic item!" said Ramiris with a snort…

"Oh Leon-chan has one huh? good to know" you will regret lying to me Leon, thought Yuki as he remembered how Leon pretended he didn't have the elemental essence, and the evil aura around his body made all the spirits run away from him including Ramiris and his servants

"So what's the condition?" asked Yuki and the elemental of light instantly said "We require that you don't use the spirits you summon with the essence of the elements for evil and to not harm the spirits you summon… that's all, and you will have to sign a soul contract for us to be sure about this—"

"Wait wait buddy, as I said, once I kill the evil pirate king, I won't have any essence to begin with" Said Yuki and Kayle couldn't help but think 'Weren't you trying to save your ill brother?'

"I see, then you don't have to sign any contract and you should only promise that you will be a friend of the spirits in the future" Said the elemental of light and Yuki gladly nodded in agreement since he didn't have any intention to be their enemy in the first place as long as they didn't have something he wanted…

"Here you go" said the elemental of light as he put his hand into the huge mountain and retrieved a small multicolored orb that immediately triggered Yuki's path of evolution ability.
