《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 115: Heroes are always late

Seeing as one of his strongest magic attacks was simply teleported away by Kayle, Razen frowned slightly as he thought 'As expected, this fight isn't going to be easy'. Then, he stared at Kayle coldly and said "I think it's better if we leave this area otherwise we will only cause further unnecessary casualties"
Kayle stared coldly at Razen before he turned to Sacha and said "Wait for me here" Before he created a shadowy humanoid that stood beside her to protect her and he directly disappeared from his previous location and appeared in front of Razen and kicked him far outside the village…
"Kayle-san!" Yelled Sacha, but Kayle was already gone as his true fight with Razen was about to start…
….
Somewhere else on the battlefield, the Kijin tried to regroup together and charge at Mjurran to interrupt her anti-magic barrier… although this barrier was extremely strong, this didn't mean that a greater mage can't surpass its limitations. Which is what Razen and Kayle did to use their magic.
However, for monsters whose bodies were empowered by magicules… This barrier affected them much more than just preventing them from using magic and they actually lost a lot of their physical attributes.
So, the main target of the Kijin was always to get rid of Mjurran, and thanks to Kayle's helping him get rid of many of the enemies. They finally had a chance to do a final desperate charge at this Majin whom they started to loathe!
However, before they could even get into attack ranger of her, an otherworlder with a weird design in his eyes suddenly smirked coldly before he waved his hand at them while muttering "Unique skill: severer"
The Kijin felt their instincts screaming, but it was Hakurou that noticed something wrong and was the first that tried to warn them "Duck down!"
However, not everyone was fast enough to follow hir orders, and in this case, it was Shuna the less physically gifted of the group that couldn't dodge in time and she watched in horror as an invisible blade approached her but she couldn't move her body to dodge it in time…
Blood splashed through the air, but it wasn't her own. Because just an instance before impact, a white silhouette stepped in front of her and blocked that sneaky blade for her… Although not without paying the price as Hakurou's body was severed from the waist down…
"Hakurou!" Yelled Benimaru and the other Kijin which attracted Rimuru's attention and he watched in horror as his teacher fell into a pool of his own blood…
"TEACHER!" However, Hakurou couldn't hear their yells as light soon faded from his eyes…
"I will kill you!" Yelled Benimaru while glaring at the otherworlder that did this, however that otherworlder simply smirked at him and said "I can't wait to see you do that, when you have a whole army to deal with"

Right after he finished his words, Benimaru could see a sea of soldiers fully armored marching toward their village, and there were at least 50000 of them… Benimaru suddenly fell into complete despair, as he stared at Shion and Shuna crying while hugging Hakurou's body…
'I'm useless, I'm I really going to lose my home once more' However, just as he lost his focus, that sneaky guy sent another slash, and this time it actually hit its initial target… Shuna and Benimaru watched as her head fell off her neck with tears still streaming from her eyes…
"NOOO SISTER!" Benimaru fell in absolute despair and so did the other Kijin, they had no power to fight, and the numbers weren't on their side… Their master was getting beaten by the strange woman and now an even bigger army has surrounded them…
However, at this point of absolute despair, something suddenly fell from the sky and he noticed that another barrier surrounded their town which made him fall into even more despair… However, for a split second, he caught a glimpse of the figure rapidly falling from the sky like a meteor and he felt it was familiar…
'Was that Yuki…' He thought before he cast all his thoughts aside and rushed at the guy that killed his teacher and sister!
….
'Damn that Milim, I said let me go, not throw me with all your power from that height like a freaking baseball… Tch' Yuki complained as he came out from the deep cartoonish hole he created from his impact with the ground…
'It seems like the situation is far worse than what I thought huh… That idiot Milim, if she stayed behind, none of this would have happened… but I guess I can't blame her since she was worried about me' Thought Yuki helplessly before his face turned extremely cold.
He ordered Milim to cast a barrier of her own so that they can revive the dead later and destroy all other barriers that were weakening the monsters and the little girl was really energetic to cause some destruction since barely a second after Yuki got out of the hole he created, Milim had already destroyed the two barriers surrounding the town as if they were made of glass…
'Now then, it's my turn, starting with you Hinata' after Yuki finished this thought, he instantly rushed at Rimuru that was fighting Hinata in a crazed state, and blocked her attack for him "Hinata, you really disappoint me"
Hinata stared at him coldly and responded "You finally showed yourself, good now I can finish this fight. MELT SLASH!"
Rimuru couldn't even react to this attack as his heart froze in terror at the thought that this woman was still holding back despite how strong she was, and blinded by the light of her slash, he could only yell "Yuki!"
However, Yuki stood there calmly in front of him like an unmovable mountain while Hinata's slash landed on his right shoulder… and there it got stuck after creating a huge shockwave that blasted away everyone surrounding them in a radius of 100 meters…

"How's this possible?" asked Hinata in complete shock, but Yuki didn't say anything to her and simply kneed her in the stomach causing her to retch in pain before he took out his sword and prepared to decapitate her with a cold look on his face.
'Am I going to die?' She wondered, but just as Yuki was about to kill her, he suddenly heard Shizue's voice in his head telling him to please stop, and Hinata's eyes couldn't help but widen as she saw Shizue's silhouette holding Yuki's hand that was about to slash her…
Yuki stared at his hand coldly as well before he turned to Hinata and said "Even if she forgives you, I will still make sure you pay for all you did here"
"What—" Hinata was about to speak but Yuki directly soccer kicked her in the face and knocked her out…
At this point, the Kijin who began to regain their strength were finally able to fight the otherworlders equally and Rimuru couldn't help but approach Yuki in tears and said "Yuki! Shuna, Hakurou, Rigurd, and many others are all dead, and it's all because of me sniff sniff… What should we do?"
Yuki patted him on the head and said "Don't worry, we can revive them, but it all depends on you"
Rimuru shook his head and said "But great sage said that the chances are so small…"
"Don't worry, have I ever lied to you?" Asked Yuki seriously and Rimuru almost said yes, you lie all the time but the situation was serious so he reluctantly shook his head
'Good, I will use this against him in the future if he ever doubts me' thought Yuki eerily before he responded with a smile
"Good, if you want to revive them, you will have to become a demon lord… A true demon lord at that. You already have a demon lord seed from the orc lord. All you need to awaken it is souls, and we have plenty of them knocking at our door" At this point, Yuki glared at the army surrounding their town and Rimuru understood what he meant…
"Fine, I will do it" Responded Rimuru with a strong determination which made Yuki nod at him before he grabbed him and threw him up in the sky above the united army before he turned his attention to the rest of the otherworlders in the village… Especially those that were attacking Sacha and the shadow humanoid was barely holding on against them…
'What's this shadow?' wondered Yuki before he appeared near Sacha and all those otherworlders and enemies went limp… The reason was they now had holes in place of their hearts…
"Are you okay Sacha?" Asked Yuki and Sacha instantly burst into tears and rushed to his embrace "Yuki-sama, you are finally here, I knew you would come back for us"
Yuki patted her head gently before he asked "Where's Kayle? And what's this humanoid?"
Sacha got out of Yuki's embrace with a red face and said "It's something Kayle-san used to protect me, that's right, he's fighting a strong mage, please help him!"
Yuki nodded at her and was about to speak but a huge fire blast was suddenly launched his way and hit him on the back creating a huge explosion "These people really want to get killed so badly huh" after muttering this, Yuki observed the battlefield before he used frozen snare on all the enemies in his sight and tempest's fighters instantly made use of this opportunity and attacked their rooted enemies viciously…
Afterward, his three loyal orc generals approached him despite their severe injuries and knelt down "Sorry, Yuki-sama. We failed you and couldn't protect the town"
Yuki shook his head before he retrieved a magic item he stole and cast a minor recovery spell on them and said "It wasn't your fault, you guys already did enough, gather our remaining forces and capture every single human here, you should also gather our injured and the dead in a separate area"
"Yes sir!" Replied the trio and went to follow his orders while Yuki turned to the battlefield that Rimuru had just created and noticed the weird light shining from the sky and dispatching the enemies one after the other…
'It seems like Rimuru had already begun, good..' Thought Yuki before he sent Sacha to help the wounded since she still had the shadowy figure to protect her and he sent a message to Rimuru through his dimensional link "Rimuru, use a demon summoning after you kill enough humans for your evolution"
"Why?" Asked Rimuru and Yuki calmly responded "They are going to be a good addition to our forces, plus they will protect you during your evolution"
"I see, okay then"
The reason Yuki didn't use dimensional link to return back to tempest was one, Milim was there for him, and two, it consumes a huge chunk of his mana which he might need to fight, and he wasn't going to underestimate his enemies anymore!
'Now then, what the hell is Kayle doing?' wondered Yuki as he observed his surroundings before he located an area with a large amount of magic and he rushed in that direction but he didn't expect what he saw once he arrived… Kayle was slightly injured but he was calmly walking back while dragging an old man behind him…
"Oh Yuki-sama, you are back..."

But Heaven and Earth always leaves a way out, his new cultivation journey begins anew on the path of reclaiming his former strength and defying Fate.---This is a story about a native cultivator of the Gu world. He lived in the era of/before Spectral Soul Demon Venerable (two venerable eras before the main RI plot). He suffered the rise of the demon venerable, barely able to make his arrangements before his death. He manages to rebirth, but doesn't everything go as planned. The story starts off in an isolated small word (grotto heaven), until the MC can grow and reclaim his former glory, before surpassing it. (long way, he was already rank 8 before) The MC has a pragmatic worldview, aligned with what you would expect from someone living hundreds of years in that kind of hostile environment. He doesn't shy away from immoral acts if it benefits him. The MC bears close resemblance to Fang Yuan in this regard, but his goal is not eternal life. One of my aims was to showcase the later introduced cultivation rules into the mortal cultivation (dao marks, attainment etc.) and explore novel scenarios within this highly technical cultivation environment.
