《MY Life In The Multiverse》Chapter 120: Summoning spirits

The dwelling of spirits labyrinth was incredibly enormous, and It extended in many directions including under the great Jura forest as well, and thanks to the help of the dryads. Yuki, Rimuru, as well as Shizue, and the students quickly located the entrance and arrived there
Yuki was instantly identified by the spirits who quickly took him to meet Ramiris without any hindrances… Of course, he had to bribe them with some cheap gifts…
"Yuki!" Yelled Ramiris while flashing quickly and landing in front of his face before she spoke "What took you so long to visit again?"
Yuki smiled awkwardly at her and said "Sorry I've been very busy lately and I had a lot to do" but the actual reason was that he was simply lazy to deal with this annoying fly…
"Hmm? I believe you!" Spoke Ramiris as if she expected his answer which surprised Yuki who tilted his head at her and asked curiously "How come?"
Ramiris found the situation silly "Fufufu, well all the demon lords have been discussing you lately, of course I would know what's going on…"
Yuki's eyes narrowed slightly and he couldn't help but smile widely at Ramiris and said "Ah Ramiris, I've missed you quite a bit my friend"
Ramiris froze slightly before she stared at him doubtfully and asked "Really?". Yuki nodded confidently at her and noticed how she was waving her ponytail just like a dog waves his tail and she was clearly happy by the statement as she flew to Yuki's shoulder and sat down haughtily…"I guess it's only right to miss me, Hmph"
Meanwhile, Bakorio smiled at her, hiding the devil under his warm face as he thought 'Good, now I won't even need to pay them for their services'
Rimuru who was watching this conversation curiously with the kids couldn't help but speak at this moment while not forgetting to shake his head at Yuki's antics "Umm, Yuki-san, who's this fairy, and what did she mean by the demon lords discussing you?"
Ramiris felt delighted by the attention so she responded even faster than Yuki and said "Fufufu, I'm the queen of spirits Ramiris, as well as the third oldest demon lord!"
Hearing her declaration, Rimuru fell silent before he spoke with conviction "No you are not"
Shizue and the kids nodded in agreement with him which made Ramiris feel something cracking inside of her before It completely shattered and she jumped on Yuki's shoulder and started waving her limbs around while trying to explain to them that she was truly a demon lord before suddenly she slipped up and said "… I'm not lying! How would I know that a Walpurgis will be held soon and both Yuki and a slime will soon be invited to attend to it if I wasn't a demon lord?"
"Hmm?" Yuki and Shizue froze slightly, while Rimuru didn't know what a Walpurgis was so he didn't understand the significance of this event until Shizue explained to him that it was when demon lords meet!

"Ramiris… why didn't you tell me from the start?" Spoke Yuki with a gentle smile and he noticed the concerned look on Ramiris face as she tried to fly away from him but he quickly caught her from her wings
"Let me go, Let me go"
"Who was it that told you not to tell me? Was it Guy or Milim?" spoke Yuki once more and he noticed Ramiris flinch at the mention of Milim and he instantly got his answer despite the queen of spirits yelling "I won't tell you"
'What's that girl planning?' Thought Yuki curiously before he shook his head and said "Anyways, I'm here for a special purpose today"
"What's that?" Asked Ramiris quickly trying to change the subject and it was Rimuru who explained to her how the kids were dying and they needed this place's help so that they can grant them spirits that could help them manage their huge amount of magicules until they grow up and can use them on their own…
"Hmm, sure, I don't mind, although the spirits that would appear depend on their luck and affinity" Replied Ramiris before she led them to the huge mountain that contained the essence of the elements
"Waa, this place is so beautiful" Spoke one of the girls who had long black hair and was holding Shizue's hand all the time…
The other kids as well marveled at the beauty of this place which returned some of Ramiris's crushed ego to her as she spoke haughtily once more "Go near that altar and pray, spirits will come out afterward"
Rimuru nodded at her before he started organizing the kids along with Shizue and they started going one after the other…
Some were lucky and summoned greater spirits from the start, while others ended up summoning a lot of spirits from a certain attribute and Rimuru helped them merge them into a single greater spirit before he merged them with their bodies to stabilize their situation.;.
There were in total five kids, and everything went smoothly despite the surprise of the spirit of light choosing one of the kids until it was the turn of the girl with long black hair, Chloe Aubert.
When she approached the altar, a Woman in a spiritual form suddenly came out of the altar and stared at Rimuru with a weird look in her eyes and started rushing at him, but she suddenly froze when she noticed Yuki's presence eyeing her like a hawk despite his laid back appearance and she ended up staring at him silently for some reason before she quickly merged with Chloe just like the other spirits did
"Who was that woman?" Asked Rimuru curiously but it was surprisingly Shizue that responded to him while holding her anti-magic mask close to her chest and muttered "Was that Chronoa-sama?"
In the past, Shizue ended up working for Leon after he summoned her for quite some time. This was before he moved to his current castle at Eldorado, and one of the reasons he moved places was none other than this Hero Chronoa, the same hero that sealed Veldora inside the cave in the great Jura forest for 300 hundred years.

At that time, Leon didn't want to fight with Chronoa. However, for some reason he felt like she would be of great help to Shizue's health condition and to learn how to use her powers and maybe even teach her how to truly gain all the benefits of having a spirit like Ifrit.
This was of course misunderstood by Shizue as she thought Leon abandoned her and after she lost her fight against Chronoa, that woman took her in and she became her student and started following her on all kinds of adventures and for the first time since arriving to this world, she truly felt close to someone.
However, one day, her teacher as well abandoned her as she disappeared without a trace and only left behind the anti-magic mask behind which made Shizue feel distant from this world…
"You know that spirit?" Asked Rimuru curiously while Yuki remained silent and Shizue ended up shaking her head in denial "Maybe I'm just imagining things…"
Yuki shot Chloe that was staring at him a weird look that creeped her out to the point that she decided to hide behind Shizue before he turned his attention to the altar and smiled "I guess it's my turn now, I wonder what I will receive? maybe the never seen one of darkness? or maybe something even better?"
The people were suddenly distracted by Yuki's overwhelming show of confidence, although each held their own thought regarding what happened
'Who's this man? Why's it that he doesn't exist in these memories I just received…' Thought Chloe as she suddenly felt like a veil was covering Yuki's figure… A veil different from his aura filled with greed which he was currently using to pray to the spirits.
However, no matter how much he tried, no spirit came out to greet him, not even a small one, and it only got worse when the elemental of light which he met previously came out of Kenya's body (One of the kids with orange hair) but it wasn't to become his spirit, instead it was covering its nose with its right hand and asked "What the hell is going on? Why does it stink in here?"
Yuki was surprised at this and he couldn't help but turn to Shizue and asked "Did any of you guys fart?" Which earned him a beating from the girls in the group…
"I'm joking, I'm joking, you guys are no fun at all" Spoke Yuki before he dusted his clothes and asked the elemental of light "What's wrong buddy? You know I shower every day, it's impossible for me to stink!"
Rimuru couldn't help but shake his head since that was a lie before he asked Raphael 'What's going on Raphael-san?'
[Notice: Yuki's physical sent isn't the problem, however his heart is rotten and those spirits appeared to have felt it when he was praying to them]
"Man, this is a first, for someone to have no spirit respond to them despite being at the source of it all, I never saw anyone like you before" Spoke the elemental of light and Ramiris couldn't help but approach Yuki and sniff at him trying to find the smell they were talking about which ended with her getting swatted away like a fly by the annoyed Yuki who suddenly smiled and approached the altar
"Nah my friend, I'm sure they are just shy… " a dark aura suddenly started spreading out of Yuki's body as he retrieved his demon sword and said "I will talk with them, I'm sure one will come out eventually"
''Yes, to kill you!' Rimuru and Shizue quickly tackled Yuki to the ground and did their best to hold him there as the former spoke "Please talk to them from a distance…"
"Tch…" Snorted Yuki before he turned to the elemental of light and asked "Oy, do you have any idea what I should do to fix this situation?"
The elemental of light hovered around him for a while before it suddenly got enlightened and said "I know, try to change your intention or whatever you were praying inside your heart"
"Praying? Why? Don't they like me wanting to get all the spirits and merge them into one bigger one to see what happens?" Hearing this, everyone took a few steps away from Yuki which made him realize that maybe his greed was a little bit too much so he decided to tone it down and reduce it to half, but it still didn't work so he decided to try something else…
He walked calmly toward the altar and Shizue was about to stop him in fear of him trying to destroy it but she was stopped by Rimuru who felt something, or more likely it was Raphael who felt it…
In Yuki's hand appeared a white and holy aura full of faith, hope, and happiness and everything positive while on his left hand appeared an eerie aura, it was dark, cold, and evil and full of negativity...
These were the energies created by his balanced magic core, and he calmly placed his hands on the huge mountain and unleashed his greed back to its full potential accompanied by one intention.
'Since I can't get an existing spirit, I will get one of my own and I will feed it with as much power as needed!
The huge crystal mountain suddenly turned into one half white and one half black to the shock of the onlookers before those colors seeped deep into its structure and caused something deep inside of it to light up'

Blood & Noodles
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] As they always have, humanity hunts the gods roaming the world, craving the supernatural power that flows within their veins. Even a drop is zealously guarded, passed from master to student through the ages. It is with this stolen power that the Blooded - those with divine blood coursing through them - grasp beyond mortality and achieve prestige, power, and greatness. Yet, for every fraction of power gained, thousands perish, slain by the gods' supernatural prowess. But everything is beginning to change. Eight years ago, for the first time in human memory, a god was felled. Part-time chef and full-time nuisance Orvi wants nothing to do with gods. Living in a derelict city, his only concerns are ensuring his adopted family's restaurant is prosperous and how to best beat the neighbourhood boys in a fight. If he's lucky, he might even snag a date with the farmer's daughter at the market. But even though he cares nothing for the gods or their blood, the world won't leave him alone forever. Because to reach godhood, one must first leave their humanity behind. *** The first arc of Blood & Noodles follows the adolescent Orvi as he attempts to navigate his rapidly changing home and - by his own definition - protect his family. The story is told almost entirely in the first-person, from the perspective of a teenager who isn't always the sharpest tool in the shed. There are tragic elements, especially in the current arc. It's character-focused and driven, though the protagonist's shenanigans are backdropped by a world operating independently from him. Orvi's a generally light-hearted character, and though the story veers into darker territory, I also want it to be able to make readers smile. Action sequences, despite the fantastical elements, are meant to be grounded and clearly-conveyed; Orvi is a brawler, not a warrior. I'm trying to write a story that's enjoyable to read and flows nicely, mainly because it's more fun to write. I'm also trying to improve my writing, so any feedback, whether positive or negative, is welcome!

That time I got re-incarnated in Fire - Red
Ben Stiller did not expect to find himself waking up inside the Pokemon Fire - Red game. He also did not expect to find out how badly a game like this translates into real life! What to expect:- Some comedy, light, dark or otherwise whatever I feel like.- Some interesting twists in the story as I personally play through the game for reference IRL :)- Blue screens... maybe for the MC, definately not for you guys though :p- I don't think there will be all that much in the way of romance, the MC is in the body of a 10 year old.- Also, there won't really be any disturbing shit dispite what the cover might suggest.- The MC is not overtly bad or a psycho or anything, but is a bit 'care-free'- Honestly I just wanted to write something randomly for some stress relief!
