It's been almost 2 years since the last time I have seen my brother.

Even though I hated this, when I turned 12 years old I had to go to Sakuru and improve my skills as a developer!

Why did I want to become a developer?

It's easy, I wanted to get my brothers attention...

Ever since I was young, he would always shut himself in his room.

All he cared about were his games. He never told me or our parents anything about his life at school.

Every time I would finish a gadget where it became popular in the recent days, he would only react with "Is that so?" or "Great thing" with a poker face.

I hated that!

Why doesn't he like my creations just like everyone else?

Why does he act like that?!

Why doesn't he react like everyone else?!

"You are so talented" "You are amazing" "You are a genius!"

Why doesn't he tell about his daily life?

Why doesn't he act like a normal brother?

What is wrong with him?!

Those were the only questions I kept asking myself.

One day I decided to show him one video game I had made, with him as the main character.

Just like usual I decided to show him this game I had created.

But the results were different.

He showed a face of joy.

As he stopped playing that game for a second, he turned to me and said.

He had the sweetest smile I had ever seen.

And the way he was looking at me was different than everyone else's.

He wasn't looking at me with envy just like everyone else.

He had a pleasing face filled with nothing but kindness.

A face only meant for me!

I could feel my heart was throbbing fast as he was playing with my video game.

That was the expression I wanted to see again!

But that wasn't easy.

Even though I got a bit closer to my brother, it wasn't enough.

I wanted to stay with him! Play with him, spend time with him!

That's why I decided to go to Sakuru and improve my skills as a creator.

I wanted to impress my brother!

I wanted him to look at me more and say "You did an amazing job! I'm glad to be your brother!"

Even though I was far away from him, I couldn't stop thinking about him.

I sometimes would imagine him reacting to my creations just like that time.

I wanted him to show me that smile again.

It was painful for me to be away from him, but the more I thought about how he would be impressed by my developed skills the harder I worked.

A year later I was hired as a weapon creator based on one of my games.

It was called "Max300"

After a few tests, I sold it to the Sakuru military.

I also was informed by my mother that my brother was enrolling in the Sakuru School made for the ability holders.

I wanted to immediately go and meet him but...

That's when it happened!

The beginning of the disaster!

Everything around the world was destroyed.

At first, I thought it was an unusually powerful earthquake but after hearing the truth from TV news I was shocked. The legend of Demons and Angels was true and now they reappeared again.

Most of the countries were completely destroyed.

People had died, cities were transforming into a forest, and in the end... the evolution of animals into powerful monsters!

Those were subjects which were being investigated by scientists.

But I had no time for that, I had to make sure my brother was okay!

Until now I was busy with the new weapon but now I am finally free.

I had the chance to go and meet him directly.

I never heard about any casualties from this country so I was sure my brother was okay.

But reality was different!

The words that came out of the principal's mouth were shocking.

"...your brother Hatsuko... He didn't return from the first, "monster combat training"... ".

I didn't want to believe he was gone!

No, it wasn't true!

Even if they told me he was dead, I still won't stop searching for him even if I had to go and look all over the world!
